In its chic and inviting eatery, Chianti's Ristorante serves classic Italian fare with passion and know-how. Appetizers include the prawns sautéed in a white wine pesto sauce, toasted bruschetta and the salmon carpaccio with mozzarella and capers. Chianti's Ristorante's house specialties include the hearty meatballs with spaghetti in a peppery tomato sauce, the baby manila clams with linguini, the chicken gorgonzola with apples, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes and the Italian sausage cannelloni. A vast selection of vegetarian dishes abound, with options like artichoke stuffed ravioli, pasta primavera and the classic eggplant parmesan being just a couple of the tasty highlights. Enjoy Chianti's Ristorante's luscious tiramisu, made with espresso drenched ladyfingers and mascarpone cream, with a rich cup of cappuccino.
For a wonderful night out filled with authentic and delicious Italian cuisine, Chianti's Ristorante does it best.
Food was really delicious! I had shrimp scampi on pasta, perfect amount of garlics and flavorings. There were 6 of us, everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server, Kelly, was very busy but excellent. She kept coming back and checking on us!
First they only had one waiter for the whole place . 2nd everything was so slow. They didn’t have a kids menu so that means it’s not a place that welcomes families. We had an ice cream cake and I asked the waiter to put in the freezer and they didn’t so it melted. So, a 48 dollar cake was ruined. Food was good ...the black berry Salmon was the best thing they offered on the menu. It’s was a birthday dinner and it didn’t feel special at all. The only thing that saved the birthday dinner from a disaster was that the food was good.
We ordered our food at 6 pm, it took 52 minutes for it to come out. The waitress came by our table once at about 30 minutes and said it’d be out in 2 minutes...obviously not. We had to flag down the owner/manager to get an update on what was going on. Mind you, multiple people came in after us, ordered, ate, and left before we got our food. Service sucked, and manager didn’t even discount the meal...as a former owner of a restaurant, that’s the least you do to say sorry. He put the blame on lots of orders thru DoorDash, but we didn’t see many orders come thru. Certainly won’t go back after that service. Food was okay, but the treatment there was horrible. Won’t get any recommendations from us.
Have been coming to Chianti’s since we moved to Brentwood in 2015. The food is excellent, nice new location. Service is great, but seems a little slower than before. Still highly recommended.
Reservations were made over the internet and e-mail confirmation received.Food & service was excellent! Will go again.
Great food and great service
We had an excellent meal with friends. Each of us ordered a different mail and all thought the food was excellent.
Arrived 10 minutes early for my reservation. Met by an older gentleman who said we could take a seat until our table was ready. Proceeded to seat two other groups that walked in, neither which appeared to have reservation. We were finally seated. Order was taken. Waited for nearly 30 minutes for bread! Kept saying " it will be out of the ovens in 4 minutes". Drank 3 glasses of water during the wait, and had to chase down a server each time for a refill. Pet peeve at a restaurant. Veal and Chicken Parm were tasty, but smallish portions compared to other Italian restaurants. Veggies were blanched, not at all cooked, so much more like a raw veggie than a cooked veggie. Received out bill, then waited 15 minutes for our server to pick it up. I suppose it's okay if you plan on spending your night at the restaurant, wasn't our original plan...
Our server was new but obviously well trained - great service. We each enjoyed our meals. My chicken marsala was perfect. Good warm bread too and very reasonable prices.
Chianti's has a well thought out menu, with something to delight anyone's tastes! They are very accommodating if adjustments need to be made. They have a great wine selection as well. We have recommended it many times.
Overall great place that I go to often. This night the service was just a little off. Normally it is excellent.
The food was excellent as always. However, the service was off. There were several large parties and service was slow. The food and drinks took awhile to get. The bartender was new and the drinks were a little “skimpy”. Alex our waiter was great. Although because of the unusual wait, the coffee or dessert should have been comped, as we’ve been great regular customers since moving to Brentwood in 2015.
We always enjoy Chianti’s–wonderful food at a great price with excellent service!
Blue cheese salad was less than mediocre. The jambalaya was way too salty and we love salt. My shrimp and scallop pasta with sun-dried tomatoes was pretty good. I did like the tiramisu cheesecake and coffee.
We had a family gathering for my wife's birthday. Everything was handled very well. The waiter put us in a private dining area. He even knew our regular drink order! The food is always very good, the portions very good and the service was excellent. They presented a decorated birthday cake, which we had brought, sliced it and even decorated each plate. Chianti's pastas are excellent and the salads are substantial.
Great atmosphere great service
Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dinner.
Great as always!!!!! Wonderful service, great food, nice quiet ambiance. Best place in the East County for lunch or dinner!!
Great food and great service-----what else can you say? We go often and we are never disappointed!!!!
Since moving to Brentwood two years ago, we have dined at Chianti's 4 or 5 times in hopes the Service would improve. The food is good, but not consistent. Some dinning experiences were better than others. Last night was one of the not so good experiences. We had 7 pm reservations for a party of six for a birthday celebration. When we arrived, the owner did not greet us with a smile or any greeting what so ever. We did not feel welcome in anyway. I was disappointed in the cold ambience of the new restaurant location. There is too much light, dark blinds on the windows and the colors are cold and sterile. The food was okay. I ordered one of several Special items, the Rollitini; a Calamari stuffed with Crab with Garlic Butter Sauce served over Angel Hair. Quite tasty! Another person in our party ordered Linguini and Clams over noodles. The noodles were undercooked and were sent back; however, the owner questioned why the dish was sent back to the kitchen--customer is usually right. The waiter spilled hot coffee on my arm and lap--truly an accident--yet another reason we will not be returning to Chianti's. It is too bad, because there are so few good restaurants in Brentwood.
Food and service was good. But when we were leaving, we noticed that there were a lot of ants on the table that we were eating at. Other than that, everything was excellent.
Always great. Consistently excellent Great Balue
The food is outstanding & worth the WAIT!
Service is unbelievably slow.
Owner needs to hire a bartender & more waiters.
We will continue to go to this restaurant but it
gets old having to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a drink.
The food was excellent and the service was top notch. One of the best local dining experiences we have had in a while.
I can’t believe how amazing the food was! Wish the restaurant itself had a more romantic feel like Zephyr downtown but the food more than made up for that.
Delicious food and great service. We’ll be back soon!
Amazing meal, lovely wine and great service. The special sea bass was heaven. The Italian meatballs were delicious. I love the yummy dipping sauce for the bread. A new favorite place with a beautiful new location.
I've heard really good things about your restaurant, so thought we would try it. The food was very good, but the ambiance was a disappointment. The price was expected, they warmed us it would be pricey. You need better bread, other than that the food was great.
Love the reservation on the computer...
Excellent meal and service. Loved it. Mike is very attentive and food was hot and fresh. Great desserts too!
Love this restaurant.
I had the stuffed cod special. It was served over angel hair pasta and there was a mild sauce which I found lacking. I was offered more sauce with more lemon in it and while that helped it still lacked a bit of zip. Maybe capers would have given that pop to what I can only describe as a bland dish. I don't give up easily and will be back to try more dishes.
One of our favorite places to eat. The food was wonderful and we had great service. Keep up the great dining experience.
Love the new location. Feels inviting and spacious. Staff were attentive and friendly. The bread and that amazing bread dip were excellent. Lovely salads - the spinach salad is my favorite and hubby loved his mixed greens with the blue cheese crumbles. They were so accommodating- off the menu request for champagne chicken, instead of veal. It was amazing - not to miss. Hubby loved his meatballs and spaghetti. We will be back.
Food is very good. Service is poor. Will give it another try.
I have eaten at Chainti's four or five times and I usually have the Jambalaya de Mare, but on this visit the shrimp was over done, the chicken, and the ham, and the sausage were all over done. It is a delightful dish when prepared correctly and Chianti's usually does it right,
Delicious food, Mike was our server, he's knowedgeable about food and wine
Clean and spacious from one table to next.
Food is great.
My chicken piccata is a little tough ( just the 2 pieces, the rest is okay).
Flavor is excellent.
Excellent waiter. Good Service.
The only negative I can give is that the food comes out quite slow.
The quality of both service and product is unchanged with the recent move. OUTSTANDING.
Quiet Sunday afternoon with my wife on our anniversary. Food was delicious. Waiter was prompt and kind. A little pricey but worth the time out.
