A bit crowded but surprisingly not as noisy as you would think. Great staff and wonderful food and wine options.

This is a very small but genuine Italian restaurant. The menu is updated daily. The appetizers and entrees were phenomenal. The sauces made the meals. Service was attentive but not overbearing. I will be back to this wonderful eatery.

I’ve been to this restaurant three previous times and had a very good experience. Food was good service was pretty good as well. Tonight I was being a friend to introduce her to this restaurant. It became very crowded very quickly but we had a reservation because I knew that would be necessary. We had finished our meal we were sitting and chatting. The manager , I suppose, came over to us and asked us to “do me a favor. I need to use your table because I have people waiting in line.” I was shocked. So many times I’ve had to wait when other people were finished up dining and would sit there and chat and nobody ever has asked them to vacate a table. In all my years of dining both very high-end and fancy to very casual, nobody has ever asked me to move To accommodate other guests. It’s really not my problem if others do not make a reservation decide to be a walk in. To add insult to injury the waiter decided to add sauce to my pasta which I had agreed to, however, he had the added the wrong sauce which I did not notice until I got home. He added a cream sauce and I cannot eat dairy, which he apparently forgot. And it wasn’t even the sauce that came with the original dish. So my pasta was ruined and had to be tossed. The manager said that we would have a free glass of wine for leaving when we came to the restaurant again . What in hell’s name was he thinking? Very unfortunate evening at best.

We had the best time at Chianti! Edgar took great care of us. The food, ambiance, and service were just all exceptional. We moved to the neighborhood last year and have driven by chianti and always wanted to go and we are so glad that we finally did!! We will be back VERY soon

Food and service are excellent. We’ve been here a few times and are always p,eased with the exceptional meal. However, there are too many tables, too close together, which makes it a less than perfect night out. We couldn’t hear each other ove the noise.

Greeter/server was very friendly and aimed to please. We have eaten there many times, but this time neither of us enjoyed the taste of our meals. The marinara sauce taste had changed. It tasted as if cream had been added, and we did not like the flavor. Eggplant dish was mushy. The calamari and bread were the best part of the meal.

The restaurant is a neighborhood treasure. Not large and very personable. Our waiter, Shapiro, is the best waiter in Denver. He's lovely and went out of his way on every request to serve us and was so lively and fun. The food is absolutely excellent.

My date loved it, as do I! He wanted some non-alcoholic beer, however, and Chianti does not have any. Volume picked up after all tables were full, but still not too terrible. Great wait staff and personnel.

We have been a patron of Chianti's for some time now. The place is cozy, especially around dinner time, the food and service make it a great experience. We have come to know the wait staff and they are fun and friendly. We will continue to visit and look forward to experiencing the great things there.

You might be disappointed on arrival, at first. The restaurant is in a strip like mall. But the food is very good and authentic Italian. The waiters are Italian giving you confidence. They were also attentive.

Be sure and make a reservation. This place is pretty small and it does not take much to fill the place. No matter what day. To be on the safe side.

Also, the close quarters and proximity to kitchen, makes it warm. Make sure you have clothes you can peal off.

I went to Chianti, as I have been a great supporter of their sister restaurants, Venice, downtown and Greenwood village. As I had heard good things about Chianti, I decided to try it. BIG MISTAKE!!!! The food and service were both awful, and I certainly will never go to this restaurant again. First, it was hard to say, what was worse: the food or the service, or both. Certainly, to have to ask for the simplest things four or five times is inexcusable.
OK, what was the worst? Food or service? BOTH!!! Let me describe: First a little Bruschetta to munch on while selecting the menu. The evening before at Venice, superb. This evening, with black heavily charred bread? What can I say?
OK, Here we go: They served the appetizers. Mine was not served, although I thought it would soon appear. My mistake! After some time, I thought I would inquire. Oh, the waiter said, I served your appetizer to the wrong person. I will take it back!!!!! I thought better than to take the dish back from my guest, and , of course, given that they had already begun to eat it, not appropriate. The waiter agreed to get me a new appetizer. Knowing how these things work in terms of the pace of the dinner, I made the very explicit request, that they not fire the main dishes until we had finished with the appetizers. Unfortunately, this request, obviously, totally fell on deaf ears.
After we had finished with the appetizers (delayed, of course, due to their appetizer delivery issue) the waiter asked if we were ready for our main dishes? I replied yes (hoping that they had not prepared them already and had them waiting under a heat lamp or some such thing.) The dishes were then brought out IMMEDIATELY, which was my worst fear, and correctly so. My pasta was mealy (of course, what would you expect after 20 minutes under a heat lamp, or whatever), seafood terribly overcooked. which I encountered on this dish: a burnt and distasteful flavor.
So, my bottom line? Go to Venice Ristorante.

I had the Chilean sea bass and it was very good. My friend had pasta and said it was very undercooked. Every bottle of wine we requested was either sold out or no longer available.

We met friends for dinner who happen to have traveled in Italy with us. Each of us enjoyed our meals. Our waiter was attentive, but also let us relax and visit. We had been to Chanti before several years ago and will make more of a point to go there again soon.

Charming authentic Italian restaurant with excellent food. It was very crowded and noisy on a Saturday night so it's not the place for a quiet intimate meal, in my opinion. Also, it's a little pricey for what you get.

Starting with the bread, this place serves great food. Although the two of us ordered only two of many entrees, we were impressed with the quality and freshness of everything we were served.

The problem is the seating for 2. Had we been a party of 4, our table location and choice would have been much improved. Unfortunately we chose a table near the wine rack thinking we at least would not be near the entrance to the restaurant and check-in counter. Instead, we felt we were dining roadside on the waitstaff equivalent of I-25 traffic in an alley. My wife was brushed by one particularly stout waiter every time he passed behind her, the passage was so narrow. Moreover, the table was the smallest we have ever sat at.

If you are looking for great Italian food and can bring along another couple, you'll be fine.

The food and service was very good at this unexpected restaurant. The outside is unassuming and inside is quaint but small but the food was delicious and they had a good selection of a variety of dishes. Our waiter was considerate and attentive. We really appreciate them making us feel special for our anniversary!

P.S. Try the tiramisu!!!

Meter/greeter was abrasive when I tried to mention our Open Table reservation. Since a table was available and conformed to our request there was ultimately no problem anyway but, gruff demeanor was off-putting. Overall rating and service rating would have otherwise been five star. Table service was superbe because greeter kept his distance.
