It’s my wife’s birthday and this was an amazing desert date with her and my seven year old son.
Delicious food, generous portions, and attentive wait staff. Would definitely go back.
Luis and Spiros are the best. Armando is gracious as well. We love going to this neighborhood gem.
Day after valentines!! VERY COZY!
Louis ( or Luis) was an excellent waiter .The food was average for the price point. We were seated at a table that NO ONE should have to sit at - it was an after thought - right next to waiter station with a view of the bathrooms for my date ! They should remove this table.
Excellent handmade pasta and interesting wine list
The food was delicious and the wine suggestion was perfect. The service was attentive without being pushy. The reservation process was super easy!
We make this a regular stop when not wanting to cook at home. Have never been disappointed. Food and service is great.
Come hungry, eat with a smile, you'll have a great time!!
Amazing service and food.
We had a lovely time and our dinner was quite nice, but we waited almost an hour for our reserved table. There were probably 10-15 people who were in the same spot, and they don't have room for people to wait. Reservation system needs better management!! While slow to offer, they did provide drinks to all of us who were waiting.
We love this place. Great service and terrific food. Strong work!
Always consistent and always great!
Excellent italian. The homemade soup was fabulous. The main course was adequate for splitting (shrimp/pasta). Very cozy with excellent wait staff and a fine wine list. Great for a special event (birthday).
Awesome staff and great food.
They always taken good care of us!
Lovely luncheon with friends. Have been to Chianti many times, both for lunch and dinner. Food is wonderful, small and cozy - it never lets us down!
Great experience and food. Would go back again!!
Chianti, part of the Venice Restaurant family, always delivers for us including world-class service from the entire team, along with delectable plates. I'm in love with Lucente wine! Keep it flowing. Grazie mille. Mark Story
NYE! DELICIOUS food. Quaint atmosphere. Definitely will return.
I eat at Chianti's fairly regularly and it's been a family favorite for years. It's always very crowded, with no room to move your chair away from the table. But I expect this and the food is definitely worth the lack of comfort. It's almost impossible to get in without a reservation. The portions are large and everything I've had there is absolutely perfect. The meals come with vegetables and pasta and I recommend the fettuccine alfredo. There's a large selection of wine and they usually have about 3-4 desserts.
Our service is usually perfect but this past visit it was a little slow. We had to ask a a few times to get more bread and my friend's husband didn't get his salad. This isn't typical though and I highly recommend Chianti's.
Have been here several times, but food seems to have gone down hill. We were also yelled at by one of the servers about were our server sat us. Just doesn't seem to be the same quaint place anymore. We won't be back.
Always great food service ambience and a quaint high-class place
as usual, everything was great, so we don't mind the 50 mile round trio!
Good Italian food and excellent service. We have eaten there several times and not been disappointed. The only downside is it is small and the seating is tight.
My wife and I have been big fans of Chianti for many years, but I have to say that our family Christmas Eve dinner this year was definitely not worth the price... Not sure many high end Italian restaurants will charge you $25 for a kids butter and noodles, but they did... They stuck us with a 20% gratuity (I usually pay 20-25% per meal) due to having six in my family, which they didn't state upfront, and not sure I have seen a party of 6 hit with a gratuity at any other restaurants I have been to in years. Lastly, their wine and drinks way overpriced and not a great selection...
Sorry to say, but we were quite disappointed with our Christmas Eve meal , and will not be going back to Chianti's for a family celebration in the future.
Overall food quality was low among several meals ordered. Also, minimal appetizer options available. Asked waiter to split one adult meal in 3 for sharing for 3 children and he indicated he couldn't resulting in charge for 1.5 meals for our children . I could have simply ordered one adult meal myself and split it. No desire to return whatsoever.
The food was subpar and seemed almost microwaved? We came on Christmas Eve for a fancy Italian dinner and it was the opposite of that. There was a special menu (as we assumed) but it was extremely small and we wished we could've seen that prior to our reservations. The tables were smushed together and the servers seemed rushed and rude. Wouldn't go back, especially for a special occasion.
It was our date night. We ordered a dish with angel hair instead of spaghetti, but it came out with spaghetti which was undercooked and cold. The shrimp was very cold as well. The server was often completely disappeared. Overall, it was disappointing. Won't go back.
