Need to book at 8:45 AM?Other great restaurants with availability.
The food was good, but the service was exceptional. The wait staff was fast, courteous, and efficient.
Restaurant week menu was very good, and priced well.
The restaurant is very small with absolutely no waiting area. No one ask if we had reservations and sat another party ahead of us. The 2 appetizers were very bland. The salmon and dessert were very good. A waiter ran into my chair and didn’t even acknowledge it. I thought that was very rude. Overall, my friend and I were not impressed and would not go back or recommend this restaurant.
Great food, really good wine - tomato sauce for calamari was quite tasty, entrees and dessert were as good as reviews said they'd be. We asked for a bottle of dry chianti and wow, driest most delectable chianti we ever had!
The chicken dish was amazing. My only issue was the tables being so close together it was as if I was sharing dinner with other couples and not just my husband.
Always a great meal and excellent service.
The only thing I want to say is that the hostess is a great person. Some young woman needed to bring her very young baby to the weekly Wine Mom's meet, and it cried the whole time because it's late. They didn't care, of course, because they're selfish Wine Moms. The hostess HELD THAT BABY for like 15 minutes to calm it down (which it did for a while). Major props to her for noticing a situation and stepping in to help.
Went for Denver Restaurant week. What a value! Outstanding food. $25!!! No wonder it’s been in operation so long.
We came for restaurant week so that might change everything we experienced compared to a regular evening. Anyway, the food was delicious. Best bolognese I've ever had and I tend to order that often at Italian restaurants. The service was a little rushed and not super personable, but definitely not rude. There were a ton of tables in a pretty small restaurant so I occasionally got bumped into by other patrons coming or going. With so many people in there it was a bit loud, but not to the point where we couldn't have a conversation and, again, this is probably due to restaurant week. My wife got the salmon and liked it a lot as well. She also really liked the glass of wine she had.
the waiter had an attitude. Once he took our order he wasn't checking in to see how are food was. This is the same experience we've had in the past If you don't order a bottle of wine he doesn't see anything but a cheap customer. Very sad attitude in 2020.
A hidden gem. Food quality is outstanding
This restaurant had a good variety of offerings on their wine and dinner menus. Everything from apps to dessert was delicious, the service was great and the ambiance was cozy and romantic.
Unfortunately, we went to this restaurant on Valentine's night. Our waiter was very nice but he had too many tables to service and our service was not at it's highest level.
The food was good but I had the chicken and my entree was not cooked enough and I had to send it back. This meant that my wife was eating alone while my meal was being re-done.
We always love Chianti,, One of our favorites.
I wish they had a bar area though.
Chianti reminds me of a New York Italian Restaurant.. Love it.
It’s been a couple years since I’d been here but I was very impressed . Our waiter was knowledgeable and efficient. The food came out quick and the fettuccine Alfredo was perfection. I highly recommend the carpaccio !
We are forever diners at Chianti!!! It was my birthday and I’d rather not have celebrated it anywhere else.
This is a wonderful lunch spot. The food is delicious & service impeccable. We will be back soon!!
Two birthdays. We were presented with a plate of complementary desserts; very welcome!! 🤗
Food & Edgar our server were outstanding. The tables are so close that it’s hard to get into a seat but it’s a great place. Been going there for years.
A small, intimate venue with excellent food and service.
Never disappoints. Food is always good and the service is even better.
Excellent food, but very tiny space. There was a table behind us of approximately 12 people, so we were very crowded because the waiter "needed to get through"... and pushed our table very close to another table.
We will likely go back, but hope to be seated in a different area where we would possibly have more space to move.
It's difficult to give a good review when the service is just terrible.
Just as outstanding as usual. We drive about 20 miles to get here and it is always worth it! No one does veal like they do!
Reserved table for 7:45 pm and when arrived, there was a line of people waiting, no tables available and no bar or space area to wait. Hostess and staff seemed overwhelmed but no apology of any sort provided. We ended up going to Yaya’s (nearby) for a drink while a table became available as we were there to celebrate a birthday. What is the point of making a reservation? Why didn’t the hostess explain the situation or at least seem apologetic or extend an actual apology? Why wasn’t a glass of house wine offered as courtesy for the mix up and while we were waiting? We finally got a call 35 minutes later telling us that our table was now ready. I have to say, I’ve been to this place many times and their food is very good but I was appalled by my experience and will not be returning unfortunately.
We went here last night for a double date with our friends. The service was the best part until the end of our meal. It is a small hole in the wall type place and we were very squished. By the end of our meal the manager was practically pushing us out to seat others. The food was mediocre - I was underwhelmed by my ravioli and my husband ended up getting sick from his chicken. We won’t be back here.
Great service , very accommodating of our desires and questions. Loved the food and wine. We will come again!
Chianti never disappoints! The staff is well trained and the food is always delicate and delicious!
We went to Chianti many years ago for our anniversary and enjoyed it so we decided to return again for another anniversary. I have to say it just wasn't the same. The food was average at best. I had the Wild Boar pasta and my wife the Lamb Sirloin. The lamb comes medium rare but was blue / raw in the middle and was bland and very fatty. The wild board pasta was decent but again nothing that made it stand out from any other dish I have had at chain Italian restaurants except for the fact that it was Boar. The service overall was okay although we did note on our Open Table reservations that it was our anniversary and no attempt was made to acknowledge that and we ended up being seated by the front door which was cramped and not ideal. It certainly didn't live up to the expectation of the event we were celebrating. Will not return.
Food was delicious and the service was great.
This was a last minute decision and we were thrilled that we were able to get a reservation at Chianti for New Years Eve dinner. As expected, it was packed as always; however, the hostess and manager were wonderful to figure out seating for our odd 5-person party - we only had to wait for 20 minutes - we would have waited longer if needed. The food, the service, the atmosphere was wonderful. Great way to bring in the New Year!! Thank you Chianti - we will be back soon!!
Chianti never lets you down. The food, wine and service is consistently excellent. Cannot wait to return again.
Chianti's is one of our favorite restaurants - great service, outstanding food and unpretentious.
The wait staff is out of this world!!!
Such a wonderful place with incredible food! Everyone there is awesome and we love it!!!
Fabulous. Was very crowded but service was e captions like. Love Spiro, our server
Food good. Tables very close together. Very noisy.
This gem in DTC was such a delight. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Fro the moment we arrived we were treated as family rather than guest. We are definitely going back!
It was Christmas and we had a reservation on the books for weeks for a table of two. We entered a half full restaurant at 6:30 and we were sat in the worse table in the house. The table is literally the enter way into the restaurant. It faces the front door and has a continuous flow of traffic. I personally would be embarrassed to have this as a table choice. We asked to be reseated and they said it would be a 45 minute wait. Five minutes later a two top left and shortly after they sat another couple there. When we arrived there were many four tops open and they remained open until we left. They even sat a two party in one while we were there.
Last night was VERY poor service, especially considering they knew we were not pleased and they did nothing about it.
That said, we have been going there for 15 years. The last time we were there we weren’t overly impressed but decided it might have been an off day. Their food has declined. Our crab cake app was like one you buy in the frozen food section and bake. The Italian sausage was dry and over cooked. The Osso Buco Shank, which used to be one of our favorites, soft and yummy served in a giant bowl, is now more expensive, is a much smaller portion and sits on half a plate over compensated with vegetables and potatoes and doesn’t compare at all.
Chianti, your just not the same restaurant.
