Amazing care and service!
Very friendly and treat you as if you're family. Great food and experience.
Easter Brunch w the fam. Food was delicious. Service impeccable. You feel like family at Chianti Reserve.
Nice place in a great area of Pleasanton. Enjoyed the food and the service
Great restaurant. Great Food, Great service. They have inside and outside dinging options.
Very busy and noisy inside, but outside was very nice. Food and service were very good.
Also outstanding food
The food was delicious and price right. They have the cannelonni which was not in the menu, I ordered it, and it was excellent. The service was good, but they missed the salad and soup we ordered. Overall was very good.
Owner makes you feel like part of his family!!
The eggplant parmesan was outstanding--tender with a really flavorful sauce. I'll be back to order it again!
Once again the best cocktails (exactly how I ordered it). The food once again amazing I had the Tutto Mari so delicious. Plus the bread service with pesto I had to force myself not to eat it all. The service even in these difficult times was amazing lots of heaters never felt uncomfortable sitting outside.
Super nice staff, good covid procedures. Food was good, not mind blowing, but hit the spot!
As always, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. Bread was provided, drinks offered and menu specials explained. Food and service were both excellent. Pricing reasonable. One of our favorites and we will keep going back.
The sole entree special was very good and the Lemon Marscipone Cake was outstanding. I got an extra piece to take home with me. The owner was hands on with his guests and very helpful during our lunch at Chianti Reserve.
The food and service were tremendous. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. One of my favorite places.
My friend and I had a lovely lunch and did not fee rushed even though we were at peak lunch time. The service was very good.
Awesome new restaurant in Pleasanton. We thoroughly enjoyed our risorltto /seafood with a saffron sauce and lamb shank. The owner, Michelangelo, served us and suggested a great bottle of wine. We will be back (often).
We had a nice dinner. Our table was ready when we arrived and we were seated promptly. The ambiance was nice and we stayed warm even on a chilly night. Our waiter was very nice and attentive.
My family and I have enjoyed dining here for our special occasions and we also come eat for a wonderful 🌙 night out with friends and family for a spectacular, authentic meal, and energetic and friendly staff who delight us with great stories 😀 😊
I would highly recommend lunch or dinner 🍽 dining.
Enjoy

Service was fast, friendly staff, food was very tasty and original. Outdoor dining had heaters.
👍👍👍👍👍
We had a family dinner here and the food was great, the service was amazing and the table was great location with a heater.
We had never been to this restaurant before and I would recommend it and go back in a minute. If your in the area, I would definitely try it!
This is our go to local restaurant. We love the owners and the food is always good. My favorite is the Salmon Ala Vodka - so good! And I love their salads.
Very personable Owners and workers.
Good food.
Nice setting.
We were excited to give Chianti Reserve a try. Unfortunately, and maybe due to it being the first Saturday night after restaurants were able to open outdoor dining, our food was mediocre at best. Not much flavor. All six of our meals were lukewarm. We won't be back.
considering covid they did an outstanding job helping people with their needs. Please try to try this nice Italian restaurant. Would hate to think that Pleasanton would lose such a lovely place. Yes there are others but this one really cares about their customers. I called and 3 other restaurants never called me back!!!
Great service and food. The lobster ravioli was yummy!
Great food. Love the music they play operas. I wish the Thanksgiving turkey was carved. But their Italian dishes are delicious, albeit dearly.
Great food and excellent customer service experience.
Once again, great food and wine and attentive service. We keep going back for a reason.
The service is superb, the food is authentically delicious, the price is just right, ambiance is perfect, 5 Stars across the board!
$30 dinner entree portions seemed a bit on the small side...Excellent service.
Meh. No kids menu, a bit over priced for wha though get, friendly host, friendly staff, but just a so so spot.
We were seated right away for our reservation and that was it. We left after sitting for 30 minutes waiting for anyone to even bring water.
Nice setup for outdoor dining. Food was delicious!
I asked for a glass of wine when we were ordering our food and a glass of wine didn’t come until after my main course came. My wife and daughter split a meal, and the waiter just brought out the one plate for my wife with no way to split the food with my daughter and then tells us after the fact that there’s a $10 charge for a split, would’ve been nice to know that when we were ordering. The food was good but the service was extremely poor.
One of our favorite places in downtown Pleasanton!!! 😋
The food was excellent as was the service and drinks. The only complaint was the pricing. It was too high compared to the other places in the same category. $17 for a very small lettuce and beet salad was too high as were some of the other prices. It takes the place from a weekly finding to a special occasion place. We eat at high end restaurants a lot but the prices don’t match the market for the type and food. Other than that it was amazing.
At the price they charge, the food is mediocre at best. If I were mean, I would say they were cheap. Simply low quality food. Good waitstaff and a decent limoncello mascarpone cake - that’s about it. Won’t be back.
We have eaten at Chianti many times. During Covid you just want to get out and fell "normal", Chianti always allows us to feel normal. Service is outstanding, a little slower this time but it was busy. See you again
Not staffed well. Waited for everything. Took 45 minutes to take our order, 55 minutes to get drinks. Food was good but waited another 30 minutes to get our bill after we were done eating. Never checked on us or asked if we wanted anything else or dessert.
The soup is my favorite!!! But everything is very fresh and tasty.
