All food was just great, and our server too. Will come back.
Customer service and quality plus ambiance are TOP NOTCH!!
Very nice food. They're walnut ravioli is en point. Dessert is freshly made as well. Definitely worth a second trip
Great dining experience inside. Very safe. Outside looked great also. Staff were amazing and food was wonderful. Will definitely return.
One of our favorites! The food is yummy and the service is great. Their bruschetta is among the best I've ever tasted. We had a group of 7 and we sat outside. The service was flawless, seriously flawless.
Our waiter was awesome and the food was terrific.
Lovely restaurant although food was only ok for the price. Seasonings in the food seemed limited. No kids menu. Would have liked more attention to refilling waters. Staff were very friendly and sweet.
average food, service was poor as well. they were the only empty restaurant on street
Was able to order a dish not on the menu, that's taking care of the customer! Food was delicious.
Took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner. We’re from the Central Valley so we drove the 45 minutes after I read the great reviews about Chianti’s. The town has blocked off downtown to motorists each weekend through Labor Day so there was quite a bit of foot traffic and we sat outside. Overall the experience was great and we’ll definitely go back again. The food was wonderful as were the cocktails and the wine selection. My only gripe was the restroom setup. It’s at the back of the restaurant and only one can occupy at a time so there was a bit of a line throughout our stay. It also took them awhile to get us menus but they finally recognized this and took care of us. Downtown Pleasanton is really cute, especially at night and we’ll definitely return to this restaurant and hopefully try some others as well.
Had high hopes going in. Seating easy wait staff nice. He was right on drinks and ordering and then it went down hill. Another person brought our meals and he never came back to ask us how it was going. Another person cleared and brought desert menus and then we sat and sat. Had to flag down someone who went to get original waiter and then we sat and sat. Finally the original guy came back. We sat inside and it was so noisy from other diners. Food was disappointing and the bread was awful. Won’t be going back
Husband’s Birthday. Food was very good. Staff was working very hard so my compliments to them.
This is my third run at this restaurant and can honestly say been dissatisfied in all three occasions. Food is good, pretty authentic. However, when you are paying this much for food, you do expect some level of service and a welcoming ambience. Went for Mother's Day, they had a Mother's day menu (same menu +$5-$10 on the the pricing). I was actually ok with it given I wanted to support small business. TERRIBLE service. My $.02: the owner was pretty hyper and rushing all his staff (yelling included). I get they are busy but maybe if you set a tone of warmth and service, your people will follow. I did not feel good spending $250 for 5 people. We skipped the desert and the second round of drinks just because of how awful we felt about the service. Plenty of other choices in downtown, skip this one.
Great food and welcoming service. The entire staff was on top of everything and food was delicious.
High price tag, small portions. Two of three entrees were good, the third shouldn't have even been on the menu. The New York Steak was not a New York cut, riddled with gristle and fat. Staff took back to kitchen to cut off fat, still basically inedible. They did take it off the final tab.
The staff at Chianti are always welcoming and attentive.
Michelangelo is a great server. Remembered us and the fact that our daughter is gluten free. They have gf pasta. Veal Parmesan and Tiramisu was reported to be excellent.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back!
Great meal out with the extended family.
According to my BF- Service was excellent. Halibut was a bit mushy & fishy. Chicken Marsala could not be served with mashed potatoes which was preferred & was just OK. Cocktails/beer are pricey. Not sure he will return.
Service was friendly and timely. Food was very good. The only thing that was lacking was the bread. Outdoor dining was nice.
The service staff were knowledgeable regarding their food choices but were not as attentive as pre-covid. I love their polenta but the topping should have been cheese on even butter.
Also the music could not be heard indoors and in the past has been a real atmosphere maker. Overall, I was happy and will return.
Amazing care and service!
Very friendly and treat you as if you're family. Great food and experience.
Easter Brunch w the fam. Food was delicious. Service impeccable. You feel like family at Chianti Reserve.
Nice place in a great area of Pleasanton. Enjoyed the food and the service
Great restaurant. Great Food, Great service. They have inside and outside dinging options.
Very busy and noisy inside, but outside was very nice. Food and service were very good.
Also outstanding food
The food was delicious and price right. They have the cannelonni which was not in the menu, I ordered it, and it was excellent. The service was good, but they missed the salad and soup we ordered. Overall was very good.
Owner makes you feel like part of his family!!
The eggplant parmesan was outstanding--tender with a really flavorful sauce. I'll be back to order it again!
Once again the best cocktails (exactly how I ordered it). The food once again amazing I had the Tutto Mari so delicious. Plus the bread service with pesto I had to force myself not to eat it all. The service even in these difficult times was amazing lots of heaters never felt uncomfortable sitting outside.
Super nice staff, good covid procedures. Food was good, not mind blowing, but hit the spot!
As always, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. Bread was provided, drinks offered and menu specials explained. Food and service were both excellent. Pricing reasonable. One of our favorites and we will keep going back.
The sole entree special was very good and the Lemon Marscipone Cake was outstanding. I got an extra piece to take home with me. The owner was hands on with his guests and very helpful during our lunch at Chianti Reserve.
The food and service were tremendous. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. One of my favorite places.
My friend and I had a lovely lunch and did not fee rushed even though we were at peak lunch time. The service was very good.
Awesome new restaurant in Pleasanton. We thoroughly enjoyed our risorltto /seafood with a saffron sauce and lamb shank. The owner, Michelangelo, served us and suggested a great bottle of wine. We will be back (often).
We had a nice dinner. Our table was ready when we arrived and we were seated promptly. The ambiance was nice and we stayed warm even on a chilly night. Our waiter was very nice and attentive.
