5 friends met here for a reunion lunch. Cute place with outdoor patio seating, Nice waitress, decent variety on the menu. We were the only customers at this time. We ordered 1 bottle of Italian white
wine. The specials were offered to us and then repeated again when we ordered. My friends are particular foodies, one with dietary restrictions, so 3 of them ordered the special fish in lemon butter sauce. When it came, it had a marinara- type sauce on it which overpowered the flavor of the fish. They offered to take it back, but obviously, the sauce had already flavored the fish and they would have just scraped it off or rinsed it, so still wouldn't taste as promised and we had already waited quite a while for our food and were hungry. The polenta was runny. My lamb shank was well cooked, but lacked any special flavor. I had to salt it, so it was OK. The bill came to about $300. or $60. each with tip, which seemed a lot for lunch. I guess I expected better food after reading the reviews. I also would expect an apology from the manager or chef and perhaps some sort of compensation, but none was offered.
Super noisy, small, mediocre motif restaurant. One restroom in back, and you have to go thru a utility type room to get there.
Short on wait staff (those that were there were hustling though).

If you could do outdoor seating in the summer, might be okay. But if you have to eat inside, like all winter, forget it.
The spinach salad made with purcuitto was excellent. The mussels/clams app was very good. My caesar salad was just average . The shrimp dish which was atop a large raddicco leaf was very good and plenty of shrimp. The veal fungi was very good with plenty of mushrooms.
Overall, it was a very nice experience.
My daughter chose this place for her 15th birthday family dinner. I made reservations online for a table outside for 7 people. I was also able to put in a "special request." Her 15th birthday 😊 We arrived, our table was ready and they tended to us. Someone served us water and bread right away. Our waiter explained their specials, with his lovely Italian accient! Everything came out in a timely matter, we didn't have to wait to long or have to ask for things. The food was AMAZING!!!!!!!
Outstanding selection of antipasto and dinner entrees. We had a large group of 7 and were comfortably seated and served. The Veal special was enjoyed by several, chicken park by others and I very much enjoyed the gnocchi, shrimp and tomato cream sauce. Would highly recommend!
Went for lunch on a Friday to celebrate my sister's birthday. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. Our waiter was delightful. The bread and pesto dip was yummy. There was 4 of us, we each ordered something different and we all finished everything on our plates. A lovely slice of cheesecake was brought out to the birthday girl and the wait staff sang Happy Birthday! Prices are great. We would definitely recommend Chianti Reserve.
This small place was surprisingly quiet. The service was awesome. The staff is exceptionally friendly, but professional. The food was excellent. My Chicken Gorgonzola was in the top 1% of meals I have ever eaten and I have dined in many fine restaurants. My other family members had lobster ravioli, chicken parmesan and a prawn dish. All loved their meals. We had tiramisu after which was outstanding. I love how the staff speaks in a mixture of Italian and English and they will hum while they are walking around. They love children. I already know that I am coming back here for my birthday.
We had impeccable service. Our server as well as the owner made sure everything was good. The food was delicious. Our grown up kids said the bruschetta was the best they have ever had anywhere. They said the food was delicious and want to come back to try other items on the menu soon.
Thank you for taking care of our group of 12! We had a fun evening and delicious food after the Pleasanton Wine Stroll on July 15th. The host checked in several times and the service was timely. Our food was luscious and the wine choices were very good. Will definitely be returning--even for a night out for two!
I like this place. Tried it for the first time on Mother's Day. It's small and friendly. You get the sense of being at someone's home for a good home cooked Italian meal. It's obvious that there are lots of regulars. Based on that experience decided to go again for Father's Day. Still good food. Still friendly service. But I have to be honest - with outside temps close to 100 degrees we were hoping for some cool comfortable surroundings to enjoy a nice Italian dinner. But it was very warm and stuffy and only got more so as more diners filled the room. At one point I think the thermostat showed mid-80's. Not sure what the problem was but it did put a bit of a downer on the experience. I still like this place and will definitely be back. Just won't go when outside temperatures are above 80...😉
