Very good food, very good service.
Just an overall great experience. Was visiting my Skidmore student daughter and wanted to treat her to a nice meal. We shared the Romano al Salto which was very good. Daughter had the pasta Cinghiale and I had the swordfish special. Both were delicious. I also enjoyed an excellent glass of Montepulciano. The restaurant was packed but the noise level was not a problem at all.
Food and service are always good, worth the $$. Atmosphere can be loud at times, not a place for quite dinner.
The food was excellent and the service was good; however, the tables were cramped and it was a bit noisy.
Excellent authentic Italian cuisine. Tables very close together which made it difficult to have a quite romantic meal.

Very nicely appointed. Ambience was conducive to a lovely meal out. Very nice wine selection. The rabbit was delicious as the calamari alla coccio (not on menu) in an arrabbiata sauce was fantastic. Wait staff were attentive but not overbearing. Good for a date night or a good meal with friends and family. On the pricier side but appropriate.
Ordered the Duck and was served the butt end of the breast, which was dry and overcooked. Informed my server and he said the kitchen should have never sent the dish out, and the kitchen agreed. Very disappointing, who does that?

Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance upon arrival. Service was prompt and thoughtful. Excellent recommendations from server and food came out timely and well prepared. 10/10 all around. Highly recommend stopping by while in Saratoga!
Excellent food and service in a casually elegant atmosphere. We sat in the little room in the back, which I loved because it was quieter than the front room. We shared a few appetizers including the fried artichokes which are amazing! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the portions were generous. I would definitely go back.

While we hadn’t been in a long time we found some of the dishes lacking in quality. The tables seemed much closer together and crowded and the noise level was awful! We found it difficult to talk to each other at the same table. It did not make for a good experience!
By far one of the best meals I have had at Chianti, I would love to see the short rib special added as a feature it was phenomenal. The meat was succulent the glaze was impeccable, you hit this one out of the park!
Always good food and good service. Great for date night or special occasions but also nice for just a simple night out. Not the quietest place but that is only because it is always full since it is such a great place. Would highly recommend to anyone.
this is an extraordinary restaurant, the freshest italian food i have ever tasted and its delivered with warm, efficient service. i like the fact that they work with local farmers, would love further assurances that meat is humanely raised and fish is sustainable though. well done chianti!
This is a favorite spot of ours - so when we went on a weekday things seemed off - the waiter di not ask how one of our party wanted his steak cooked and it was served rare - which he only eats his beef well done the cook gave the waiter a hard time over how the steak should be cooked - the other guest did not get her glass of Moscato and she had to ask for it after her meal arrived. We were a bit disappointed as we love to dine there often
Consistently delicious food
The meal was just ok. My filet was over cooked and one our party was served the wrong meal. They did offer us a free dessert for the short coming. Very surprising for one of my favorite all time restaurants m

Excellent Italian— but pricey. Dining room is over crowded and noisy.
The atmosphere and service were exceptional . Server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Very impressed.

Great as usual
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent presentation and and great drinks! If I had to be totally honest, the only issue is loud conversations. My hearing aids had a tough time. But with that said they are a 5 star restaurant. I will go back and recommend to family and friends.
Chianti Restaurante is a lovely place. Comfortable and cozy, nicely decorated, fun crowd. It was everything you hope for when celebrating, a wonderful bottle of wine, delicious bread,appetizers, and fabulous Italian dishes that left you full and smiling. The professional wait staff was great, and even sang Happy Birthday well! Be sure to make reservations, as you don't want to wait. It will be at the top of our list to repeat next time we are in SS.
Food was good. It was a longer wait for everything than normal, which was odd cause it wasn’t super busy with the snow storm and all.

A bit overrated. Food was ok but not great. A disconnect from other reviews. Having lived for a bit in Chianti this certainly was not anywhere as good. Staff were good. Very friendly.
Whether it's classic Italian or a juicy steak Chianti never ever disappoints. My family and I have gone there and gotten catering there for years and it's always excellent. Chianti is the best restaurant is Saratoga!
My husband selected this restaurant for our date night. Reservations are your best bet to get a table. The food was prepared sumptuously perfectly executed Scottish Salmon with pistachio creamy topping in the side- which just added to the richness of the salmon! Amazing! The service was perfect! Not intrusive but nearby and ready. It was a bit noisy but worth it given the food. We r planning to go again!

Everything was wonderful. The only comment I would have is that the noise level is pretty high.
Excellent happy hour offerings and delicious entree selections. Be sure you have the profiteroles on the dessert menu. Very attentive service whether at bar or at a table.
