The meal was just ok. My filet was over cooked and one our party was served the wrong meal. They did offer us a free dessert for the short coming. Very surprising for one of my favorite all time restaurants m
The dinner was amazing and our serving was fantastic. He was super attentive but not intrusive by any means. Great overall first experience!!!
Excellent Italian— but pricey. Dining room is over crowded and noisy.
The atmosphere and service were exceptional . Server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Very impressed.
We will be back !
Great as usual
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent presentation and and great drinks! If I had to be totally honest, the only issue is loud conversations. My hearing aids had a tough time. But with that said they are a 5 star restaurant. I will go back and recommend to family and friends.
Chianti Restaurante is a lovely place. Comfortable and cozy, nicely decorated, fun crowd. It was everything you hope for when celebrating, a wonderful bottle of wine, delicious bread, appetizers, and fabulous Italian dishes that left you full and smiling. The professional wait staff was great, and even sang Happy Birthday well! Be sure to make reservations, as you don't want to wait. It will be at the top of our list to repeat next time we are in SS.
Food was good. It was a longer wait for everything than normal, which was odd cause it wasn’t super busy with the snow storm and all.
Excellent as always.
excellent service very friendly staff great food. I wish they would get the chicken dish back
A bit overrated. Food was ok but not great. A disconnect from other reviews. Having lived for a bit in Chianti this certainly was not anywhere as good. Staff were good. Very friendly.
Whether it's classic Italian or a juicy steak Chianti never ever disappoints. My family and I have gone there and gotten catering there for years and it's always excellent. Chianti is the best restaurant is Saratoga!
My husband selected this restaurant for our date night. Reservations are your best bet to get a table. The food was prepared sumptuously perfectly executed Scottish Salmon with pistachio creamy topping in the side- which just added to the richness of the salmon! Amazing! The service was perfect! Not intrusive but nearby and ready. It was a bit noisy but worth it given the food. We r planning to go again!
Great food and great service. Tables are too close together though. No privacy
Great dinning experience . Perfect drinks, attentive and informative service. Diverse menu. High end food. Overall enjoyable experience .
Everything was wonderful. The only comment I would have is that the noise level is pretty high.
Excellent happy hour offerings and delicious entree selections. Be sure you have the profiteroles on the dessert menu. Very attentive service whether at bar or at a table.
Our order was not correct but the waiter accepted responsibility ,apologized and offered a complimentary drink or dessert which was the perfect way to handle .
The food and service are very good, but the main dining area is like a cafeteria... Tables are stacked on top of each other with little ambiance. This generates allot of amplified noise, making conversation difficult. Detracts significantly from the dining experience. It's never good when patrons talk more about the noise than the food. They need less tables, and more nice noise absorbing objects ...noise absorbing ceiling and wall tiles would help. I don't go there in the summer... It's far worse when the place is packed.
We had a great meal with good friends after a day of drinking and chowder-ing....the staff was patient, attentive, and responsible.
We will see you again soon!
Great everything, love it.
In town for Chowder Fest festivities; met family and friends for dinner. Food, service was excellent!
Seating was little cramped and waiter didn't seem too enthused or interested in our table but the food was great, the drinks were great and the atmosphere was incredible.
Great dinner and service
Great place to get together with friends for a drink and a small plate.
Our meals were very good but the waiter was not attentive; an addition of a bit of extra arugula on the salad was $8.50 (really) and billed in as a side of spinach. Bizarre. Had not been back for a meal in 8 years; probably will be that long before I do it again.
Wonderful dinner and superb service! Everyone loved what they ordered and the waiter was informative, charming, attentive but not intrusive.
Consistently good. Great service. Had the capellini aragosta which is my favorite
Great dining. Always like to make a visit when in Saratoga Springs.
Excellent food and wine. A good restaurant for a special occasion. A little pricey but excellent food and good service.
Not my type of food. Calamari was good but the seafood was disgusting.
Appetizer was horrible. They removed it from the bill.
Osobocc was just okay ..
We are regular diners here, even had our wedding party dinner here. Food is consistent, Filets are outstanding--my go to dinner!!!
Chianti is on our short list. We drive an hour and a half routinely for a great meal with great service. This visit didn't disappoint. We took family there and they were very impressed. Always a great choice. We eat out all the time and great food and great service are a rare combination. Chianti nails it every time.
Chianti's consistently delivers! Chianti's is one of our favorite restaurants in Saratoga and we took the family here over the holidays and everyone enjoyed themselves, thought the food was well prepared with generous portions and liked the ambience. Chianti's offers cooking classes as I can see why. Their dishes add a bit of nuance that is unique to their style of cooking and they all -- waiters, host, bartender -- have fun doing so.
We had friends in from out of town and we picked Chianti because we have had good experiences at other local restaurants owned by the same group, Boca Bistro and Forno Bistro and felt this would be a great chance to try a new restaurant and let our out of town friends experience some of what Saratoga has to offer.
I'll start by saying the food was excellent. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their meals. The dinners were cooked to perfection and the portions were substantial.
However it was difficult to enjoy the meal in its entirety due to our rude waiter "33 Alan B". It was obvious Alan wanted to flip the table as fast as possible. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Alan asked if anyone at the table would like dessert - there was no time between putting the fork down from dinner to let dinner digest to make a decision and have conversation with our out of town guests. As soon as we declined dessert for now, the check was brought out. We went with it. When asked to split the check Alan appeared aggravated by this request and his tone and demeanor acted as if this was a hassle - in today's age this is a very common request. If this is against restaurant policy it should be stated on the menu. After receiving our split checks we left the check presenter with tip at the center of the table and continued conversing with our out of town guests. No additional request to see if we would have liked drinks or waters was made and after some time Alan came and snatched the check presenter without any form of excuse me or manners. This was commented on by us and our guests.
Had our waiter given us time to digest we not only would have been interested in dessert but likely an after dinner drink also. However in the haste to push us out and flip the table the experience was unenjoyable, especially compared to our experiences at Boca Bistro and Forno Bistro.
Overall the food was excellent but the service severely detracted from the experience.
Just love this place
This place is at best average, even for the suburbs / non-city
Four of us came here on a cold December evening for dinner. The restaurant is lively, warm and inviting. We enjoyed our wine and our meals. Parking is a little tricky, but that goes for anyplace in downtown Saratoga. I would definitely come here again.
The service was good, but the food was average and priced fairly high.
