Chianti Il Ristorante
This was a Valentine’s dinner. Everything was exceptional. I cannot rate this a true 5 stars because that would mean there is no room for improvements, but it was certainly greater than a 4.5 stars so I rounded up. Service was great, our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. I ordered the Branzino, it was good but had a few too many bones left on the inside for my liking, nevertheless delicious. My biggest problem was our appetizer cost more than the entree. With a bottle of wine, one app and 2 entrees the total bill (before tip) was about $125. I would recommend but know it’s a bit pricey.
The place we go for every Valentine's and Anniversary, they never disappoint!
We came from out of town for a dance festival, and had reservations for dinner on Valentine’s Day. As you can imagine, the restaurant was quite busy. Despite that, the service was superb and the food exquisite. The duck was to die for - the cherries were amazing - and my husband had the tenderloin which was done to perfection. The waiter recommended a very good wine that paired well with both meals. Chianti’s is definitely worth a stop. Just be sure to make reservations.
EVerything was absolutely perfect!! The waitress was friendly and helpful with our food selections. The meal was beyond delicious. Will return.
Brought our daughter and her friends to celebrate her 18th birthday, Everyone was impressed with the food and the service.
An exceptional meal! The Filetto with Gorgonzola fondue was absolutely delicious, and the server made this single female diner feel very welcome!
The staff and GM were amazing great food and excellent experience
I go here often and will continue to go! It’s my go to place I’ve never had a bad experience. Understand this: it can be loud depending on when you go so just be prepared for that, obviously the place is pricy but you get what you pay for, quality food and service. I recommend the specials because you’re gonna go back and try everything else on the menu.
We had a wonderful evening!
Noise level is over the top way too loud, food and service excellent
Our favorite "special occasion" restaurant, didn't disappoint. A fantastic meal, great service, cozy atmosphere, just the right level of activity/conversation around us. Thank you, Chianti, for another great experience.
Chianti, like the other DZ restaurants, is consistently excellent. Nice wine choices, ranging from solid and affordable reds to jaw-droppingly expensive selections. The standard menu has a wide selection of never-fail entrees, and there were 3 tempting specials ( I opted for linguine and clams, which was perfect). We had as good a dinner as expected, and came away very satisfied. After eating at Chianti for20 years, in multiple locations, it's still a great place. And, yes, it's too noisy, but if you can handle the boisterous conversations, a good meal is guaranteed, and the is no band playing, thanks be!
Amazing dinner. Great selections.
Service very attentive and timely.
Food was incredible and presentation was equally as good. The atmosphere is good however it is noisy .
We had a terrific meal at Chianti’s. This is one of our go to restaurants in Saratoga. Erica was one of the best, most pleasant waitresses we have ever had. She made the meal!
The bartender made a great old fashioned. And the filet was amazing as always. My mother got the Boar special and it was awesome. I don’t think they can do anything wrong
Great experience but would have liked more veggies served with my meal.
Great waiter. Even asked if we had food allergies
We both had scallop appetizer special which was large
Enough as entree. Delicious
My only complaint is wine selection for Sauvignon Blanc
Is terrible. Any chance you could consider stocking something from New Zealand? Kim Crawford is good mid price suggestion.
Food was great and the service was amazing. They all work together nicely.
Specials were fantastic!!
Awesome food, service, value.
Food was good, not great , but good. Just like a lot of other reviewers said it is VERY noisy. Be prepared to yell the whole meal.
We arrived a little early for our reservations but they were able to sit us right away. I had requested a corner table with my Open Table reservation and they obliged. Our waiter was polite, professional and knowledgeable. We love Chianti for their service and wonderful food. This visit was no different. We will definitely return.
Great food, great service, great ambiance and great company....will be sure to go back to try another dish.
The filet mignon melted in our mouth. It was awesome. Best filet in the Saratoga area
Food and service outstanding. Noise level was ear splitting. Tables were jammed together.
Penne vodka and the best osso buco.
We had a wonderful dinner and our sever, John was warm and attentive. Chianti remains one of our favorite dining destinations. We will be sure to return soon.
Food was good as usual however, service was quite slow on this particular occasion. Perhaps they were short of waitstaff.
The food was delicious. Chris, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. My only complaint is how load it is in the restaurant, I would hesitate at coming back for that reason.
Had a delicious meal. Was a little disappointed that despite having a reservation, we were seated in the bar area. It was a Friday night, and the bar was a bit noisy at times. Still had a great time- and the good was terrific!
New Year’s Eve! It was busy and noisy as you’d expect, but the food and service was 👍👍👍.
NYE dinner and the restaurant was busy. Service a bit slower than normal, but not unexpected and we never felt ignored. Food was its usual high quality. Noise was very loud, mostly due to a table of 4 drunk 20-something couples next to us. Even the table to our side joked with us about it. But it was NYE so it can happen.
New Year’s Eve. Perfect
I had the risitto and shrimp and the shrimp had no flavor
As always, Chianti does not disappoint. Beautiful service from beginning to end whether at the bar or in the dining room; exquisite food; and old world ambiance. My favorite restaurant, bar none.
Superb in every way. Don’t hesitate - make a reservation.
When full of happy diners, it is a very noisy venue. Our food was mostly very good but there were a couple of minor dishes that didn't suit us. Overall we were pleased.
Birthday occasion. Food was disappointing. Been there many times it’s expensive and not worth it in my opinion. Server was great however.
Good food and service; noise level is very loud. Difficult to have a conversation especially if your hearing is impaired.
