Chianti Grill - Roseville Ratings and Reviews
Service was lacking. Our reservation was for 7:00. We were there early but didn't get a table until almost 7:10, and only after I asked if our table was ready. I also had to ask the waitress if there were any specials that evening plus had to flag her down and say we were ready to order. The food was great as usual but it's too bad, good customer service seems to be a low priority.
Five friends had lunch on Saturday at11:30. Our table was ready, the server was able to answer questions, he timed the food delivery so that salads were served, and he checked to see if we were ready for the entrees before serving them. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Another satisfying dining experience there.
I have eaten at a lot of different Italian restaurants but I have to admit this was an overall BEST place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Brian our server made sure we had time to finish salads before our main course came to the table. It was still hot and the best Butternut Squash I have ever had.
Chianti Grill continues to be one of our favorites. We made a reservation for dinner with my 90 year old mother. At the last minute our daughter asked us to pick up her baby from daycare, so a baby was also part of the dinner. The kitchen forgot to cook the baby's dinner and the waiter was very apologetic. Her flatbread pizza was free. Our son-in-law and daughter also joined us, mid-meal. I'm sure we were Chiant's worst nightmare, but they handled it well. Great grandma was thrilled, and thoroughly enjoyed her meal.
We eat at Chianti Grill about once a month. They have a loyalty program. They send postcards for discounts on birthdays, anniversaries etc. The menu has good variety. My husband misses the Hunter pasta, which was his usual order. This visit we had to wait a bit for our table. Once seated, though, our server was attentive and things arrived in a timely manner.
We had a very nice dinner. Everyone liked what they ordered. Husband thought the pork loins with the corn was exceptional. The seafood Zuppa was very tasty as was the Filet Mignon. Service was excellent and they very graciously accommodated my gluten free and allergy food issues - that was a huge plus.
I took my sister here for her birthday, and we were both delighted. There is a great wine list, and a wonderful selection of Italian dishes. The salads here are always fresh and crisp, and the seafood cannoli was exceptional. Our server was the perfect mix of friendly and professional. We love the Chianti Grill, and will definitely be back!
The food was very good and has been consistently every time we have dined there. The service is good, the wait person we had knew the menu well as well as the specials of the night! He was also friendly and had great humor! My wish when I go out on a Saturday nite is to not be rushed! Attentive to the customers need but leaving time between courses! I really hate to be asked about dessert when I am still having my entree! Same with the check!
Food & atmosphere was great. Our server..made us feel like we were bugging him. I would for sure NOT want him as a Server again. Too bad that left a bad taste in our mouth considering it was our 1st time there. I did pay attention to other servers & they were not giving that vibe off. (I am a server also.)
Great Walleye, Great steak--tender and delicious. Salads awesome. Stuffed mushrooms perfect. The bread totally rocks. Excellent wine list. Beautiful decor. Wonderful service, both times that we dined there in one week of visiting the area. The only entree we didn't like was the seafood cannaelloni. It was too peppery.... not a good choice for the delicate flavors of seafood.
We met some old friends mid week and were so pleased with the experience. We all had wonderful food. Our server, Angel, was pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. What a pleasant way to share a meal with friends. We have already recommended Chianti to a friend. Thank you and we will definitely return.
Nice place for a business lunch meal. Good lunch menu options. The food was very good, as was the service. The Ahi tuna salad dish was one of the best I have had. No alcohol at our meeting, but for an anniversary or birthday dinner, the wine, cocktail and beer selections are plentiful.
