Welcoming and personable wait staff. Excellent bread. Enjoyed Peronie beer and Chianti wine (without fava beans). Chicken Parmesan was excellent, the spaghetti was over cooked and the marinara sauce was blah. Margarita pizza was great. The ambiance of the place is great.
Ordered their sangria specialuty cocktail and it was a very refreshing treat on a hot day.
For a starter we shared the crab cakes. They were good but not part of an upper echelon the coating wasn't what I enjoy but they're still my favorite app.
I ordered the seafood risotto and it lived up to a speciality. Everything was cooked just right and it was just splendid.
No dessert this time.
I'd highly recommend Chianti grill to anyone in the area. Probably the best entree I've had south of the cities here
They messed up both my order and my spouse's order, but they did correct it. Food was good and they gave us each a free dessert.
We've been coming here for a number of years. The food is consistently good, service is excellent, nice ambiance. Great value overall.
Overall was a good dinner, server wasn’t great she questioned us when we ordered our beverages, and made us feel that we shouldn’t have ordered our drinks. Than was inattentive to us, when asked for cheese and pepper, she never came back when we brought it up she acted like we were in wrong. Wasn’t a busy night dining room was almost empty and we were on the patio. We were there to celebrate buying our house and love Chianti and wanted to check out the patio. Will be back just disappointed in the service.
Warm greeting upon arrival. Our table was ready and we were seated a few minutes prior to our reservation. Prompt friendly greeting by our server. Pacing was perfect from cocktails and appetizers through salad and wine and entrees. Dessert was the amazing carrot cake. Chianti Grill always feels like a celebration even on a regular date night. I would love to acknowledge the server by name but that was the only miss of the evening. She was awesome but did not introduce herself.
Enjoyed a leisurely lunch with our granddaughter. Highlight was the bruschetta which we all loved. Lunches were excellent, too. Lasagna is outstanding.
20th wedding anniversary. Everything was great, just the room was warm and humid. We mentioned it and nothing seemed to be done. We would have stayed for dessert, but it was too warm.
Birthday celebration and we all had the buffet, which was good, but I couldn’t believe the coffee was barely warm and we were one of the first people there. It should be hot hot hot at that time of the morning and especially since we were there right after you opened for the day. Thanks.
ease in making reservations, close to home, friendly and welcoming staff, wide choice of wine, great lunch and dinner menu, but you have to ask for breadsticks!
Some food was better than others. I guess the worst part was the special prime rib was raw...like fleshy raw. Value for the rest of the food was marginal. You can find better for less. Wife ordered a glass of wine. Don’t use a giant glass and fill it 1/4 full. It shows how poor the dishwasher is. At that price, you’d think they’d take the time to make the glass spotless.
Service was good until after order was taken. I don’t mind other people bringing out the food, but when you have to flag someone down to get the bill is not good.
We were there for Mother's day and enjoyed the time together. The waitress was helpful and cheerful. She was very attentive. We both had Italian classics. They were NOT disappointing. We did not feel rushed or hassled even though the crowd was large for a mid Sunday afternoon.
Cool ambiance, but the food was a bit overpriced for the quality. You're better off going to an actual Italian place in Minneapolis, and still pay less.
May 13, 2018. Bacon, waffle , breakfast potato and pizza trays empty. Roast beef/ prime rib bloody red and cold , not eatable. Scrambled eggs “COLD”!
Thank you for another awesome Mother’s Day brunch. We have been eating at Chianti Grill for years and years and the reason we continue to go back is because it is one of the only restaurants that we frequent that is consistently awesome. Awesome food, awesome service, and awesome ambiance.
I’m returning tomorrow for another lunch with friends and we will be back in a few weeks to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, just like we have celebrated all of our birthdays as well. This is our favorite restaurant for most of our celebrations.
If you haven’t tried Chianti Grill you need to soon.
Good food, good service and nice relaxing atmosphere!
Food is always amazing and I love the molten lava cake!!!! Best dessert around.
Service was slow and I was served coffee 3 times. Twice the coffee was luke warm and the
third time it was served to me in a filthy unwashed cup with caked on food stuck on the inside of the cup. My wife ordered one drink and it took 25 minutes to get. Service was extremely slow and the waiter seemed like a a V8 running on 6 cylinders. The drink was not up to par.
The waitress was informative and friendly, the food was great. However, I requested decaf and the second cup was regular which causes problems for me. It didn't spoil the event, but please be more careful for the sake of those of us who cannot tolerate caffeine.
I'm sure we will return!
Excellent dining experience!
Wine list has really deteriorated from previous. Not a lot of selection for food.
Johnnie was a super waiter. Very attentive funny and he made good recommendations from the menu. The wine pinot gri from L was a very good recommendation by Johnnie. We haven't been here for a long time because it is always booked up. Through Open Table booked 4:15 reservation 20 minutes before. Perfect timing
The food was good and service was good as well.
We had a great booth by the windows, food and service were outstanding!
Average experience. Food is okay but not worth the price. Service is very good.
We love the Chianti Grill Burnsville! Everyone is very helpful and the food is excellent!
Went there for Sunday Bruch after church. We had the buffet and it really wasn't that great. The hot Italian food was drab, the salads were nothing special. The highlight was the deserts. We won't go here again.
We visit here and their other locations (Porterhouse)several times a year. Always good quality food and service. Higher end at a reasonable price. Would always recommend as a top choice in this area if you want a no rush dining choice.
Food was very good, service was not quite their usual standard.
the food was excellent as usual, but Tamika our server made the whole experience especially memorable..
The food is always delicious, the ambiance is great, good service and the price is right! We love this place!
We have been going to Chianti Grill for many years. But this time, we had a less than acceptable experience.
Service was slow, and went down from there.
Food was just not up to Chianti standards at all.
When I indicated to the server that the coffee I had ordered to go with desert was room temp at best,
She dumped out the little creamers on the table, then poured my cup of Luke warm coffee into that
Container before pouring more Luke warm coffee in my cup. Needless to say most of the coffee
Overflowed the small container all over their table.
I did finally get a warmer cup of coffee. Pretty sad that this was the highlight of our anniversary dinner.
Great food, breadsticks are amazing! The price is a bit expensive.
I’ve been a regular at Chianti’s for quite a few years now, and this is the first time I’m only giving a “good” rating. I ordered the three medallion steak special of the evening and while the steak was good there was not enough sauce on it, which it needed, and the french fries side dish was luke warm, not to mention underwhelming. My wife’s seafood cannelloni was good and the “anniversary” dessert Tiramisu was excellent. I’m sure the next time back my rating will be higher.
The Sunday brunch was excellent both in quality of food and ambience. Kayla did a phenomenal job as our server. We will definately be back.
First time at Chianti was really enjoyable. Their gluten-free menu is not the most extensive I've seen, but it was pretty good. I got the gluten free mostaccioli and my boyfriend got the chicken parmesan. Our server was really sweet and we got our food exceptionally fast. Excited to come back & try their Sunday brunch.
Loved the seating with the high booths. The food and service were excellent.
Asked for well done steak medallions - got medium rare
Couldn’t send it back because I would have been out of sinc with date. Should have known better than to order steak at an Italian restaurant.
We met at Chianti Grill for a family get-together, with family members coming from all over. Our server was excellent. The food was great, and was promptly and professionally served. Our entire group was very satisfied.
