Chianti Grill - Burnsville Ratings and Reviews
Steak salad should be a safe bet, right? It was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. Server said she would be over with cheese, but never stopped back until the end of the meal, so I couldn't tell her about the spicy steak. You would think that my full plate at the end of the meal might be a clue. Also never filled the water glasses.
We go to Chianti often and this last time was good again. Our waitress was one we've had often which is nice because we can say "hello again". The food was just as expected - good as usual. That's what I like - to be able to depend on good food AND good service.
This place WAS the only place around that offered crab claws, I don’t know anywhere else with in 50miles around the Twin Cities. We specifically go there to get them... they Where so good.. after arriving there for dinner, We were sad and disappointed that they no longer offer them as an appetizer.. they do have delicious food. But the crab claws separated it from every other steak and seafood place.. it’s a 25min drive for us, and now we will most likely go closer to home for a steak.. bummed
My seafood cannelloni was VERY good! Husband's chicken alfredo was dry. He requested more sauce & was charged $1 for it but at least it made the dish more palatable for him. The other 4 people all seemed happy with their choices. I ordered coffee, which was not hot & I should have asked the server to replace it but I didn't & she didn't offer. Birthday cake was GREat!
Have eaten here many times and will again, but this experience was not good. Rushed from the very beginning to order. Then our entree was served before our salads were eaten. After eating eating my plate was removed while I was chewing the last bite. The waitress blamed the kitchen, but as I looked around it appeared that other parties were still eating starters/salads when entrees were served. I'll give them all the time they need to prepare a quality meal if they'll just give me time to eat it.
We had a great dinner with friends. Appreciated the gluten free menu options!!
All of our food was fabulous and generous portions. Loved the varied menu options and great wine list.
Our server was helpful, friendly and attentive. We will come back for sure and recommend it to friends!
My family gathered here for one of our few annual meals together and it was a great experience. As a group of 8 I am glad we made a reservation because it was very busy. Our waitress was very attentive and fun, and the food and beverage qualities and quantities were very good. We will be back.
We dine at Chianti Grill multiple times in a year and the food is consistently good. The atmosphere can change depending upon where you are seated and the vitality of the server. This time was good but not spectacular as has been before. I think there was an over aggressive attempt to get us to but the featured wine collection.
Being it our wedding anniversary, decided to get dressed up a little, tired of wearing jeans all the time and not realizing it was Prom, glad that I made reservations for an early dinner (5:45p) So by the time the kiddies were packing the house, we were ready to leave on a full stomach. The Vesper was okay, but the Navy strength martini was better although the olives were forgotten. The Bees Knees was sweet and good for her. Manicotti was delicious and so was the lasagna. Wine flights should be more than one option (Chianti only)
