Our philosophy revolves around a shared dining experience and our signature steak, the Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Before we offered the Tuscan dish on our menu, you had to travel to Florence, Italy, to get a taste of this unique, family-style-served Porterhouse. Italian dry-aged to perfection and sliced tableside, the Bistecca alla Fiorentina comes from a single breed of cattle named Chianina (pronounced Key-a-nee-na). The Bistecca all Fiorentina, a Porterhouse bone-in cut, is an ancient art featuring a New York steak and a Filet Mignon. The Porterhouse strikes a delectable balance between flavor and tenderness, but the true beauty is in its simplicity. Everything started off beautifully but for some reason the service deteriorated and the server barely came back to the table to check on us. We had wanted dessert but it seemed that they were more interested in moving us along.

Splendid on all levels. It is a swanky restaurant with a laid-back feel. Food is thoughtfully sourced and prepared, and service is attentive without being obtrusive.

This was by far, our best experience yet. Kyle was very helpful and friendly as a server. He didn't hover, yet tended to us when we needed. The food was exceptional! I'm so happy broccolii was added to the menu. I was also pleasantly surprised by the additional cocktail options, they were very refreshing. The best surprise was we finally got to try the porterhouse. The last few times we've come the Chianina cut was not in stock. This time we able to indulged. Thank you!

Had a great dinner as always as we were celebrating our anniversary... Kyle took care of us and did a phenomenal job! Next time you make reservations... ask to sit in Kyle’s section!

I visited the restaurant with my son-in-law and his Mom. We were celebrating the birth of a new baby. The outing was perfect. The restaurant offers consistently good food and great service. I always leave thinking I’m glad I visited.

Great food, good wine list!
The server was new, came to the table too many times to ask how everything was, "Are you guys OK?" A more polished vocabulary that reflects the sophistication of the restaurant is needed. Training!
Attractive room, lovely lighting made for a very pleasant dining experience.

Sadly the quality of the ribeye was not Prime plus as the waiter suggested. I've had better choice cuts from stater brothers. The prime quality at Costco is much better. Next time I'll just grill my own from Costco and stay home. Was really expecting better for $150.00.

We came as a party of 4 celebrating two birthdays. We ordered the Chianina porterhouse to share as our main course, along with wedge salads to start and several sides. Wedge salads were good, nothing remarkable. The meat was cooked as ordered and it was a special thing to order, never having had Chianina beef before. However, it was not very tender and had a lot of fat and gristle. It was 35 oz. including bone, fat & gristle. It was enough for 4 to share given that we also ordered salads and 4 sides.

I usually just order filet mignon, and if I return to the restaurant, that is what I would order. The sides were awesome, especially the mushrooms and the baked German potatoes. Best of all was the service. Our waiter as well as the sommelier were very attentive without being intrusive, and they comped us a couple of ice creams for dessert for the birthday boys.

I would try the restaurant again and order filets and sides. We didn't look at their wine list as we brought our own special bottles ($25 corkage), but the sommelier was quite knowledgeable and I imagine their wine list is impressive.

The salad was so salty, I asked for no meat in my salad and they brought me a salad with pieces of bacon/paceta, the appetizer fries were not tasty at all and the amount for the steaks was not worth it. Very, very disappointing!!! Will not go back.

This was my first visit to Chianina. I am a big fan of Michael's on Naples so when picking a place to celebrate the birthday of a close friend, I thought we'd give it a try. Every item we ordered, charcuterie and cheese boards, salads, steak, various sides, and dessert, was delicious. The service was attentive and the sommelier, Randy, was great and suggested a wine that was not yet on the printed list. My guests loved that Michael was at the restaurant the night we dined and it was great that he stopped at our table and chatted a bit. It is an expensive restaurant, but worth the price for a special night out with special people!

I can’t say enough good things about our dinner last night. We had a phenomenal time. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. I can’t wait for our next time at Chianina. We were there to celebrate a 60th birthday and our server brought champagne, ice cream with a decoration and just made the evening really special.

I’ve passed by Chianina for years and finally made my way there for a special occasion. The food is phenomenal, but the prices are very high, which puts it in the special occasion category for me. I highly recommend going for amazing fare!

The risotto was not great. I've had pea rissoto at Harrods in London. This was not even close. Rice was undercooked. The poached egg had the white ropey strands of egg white visible. Tottally gross. The salmon had onion and celery sauce that was not the best complement to this fish. The seared skin was not seared enough. So had to be removed.
Strawberry shortcake was the only highlight.

LB dining week menu was a bit of a miss. The cost was high for what they served.. The Hamachi and salmon were better than the risotto and steak. The steak was chewy and the risotto wasn't that flavorful. Desserts were underwhelming. I've had much better experiences ordering off of the regular menu. I'll do that next time. Have eaten here five times and this was the first bummer.. The Sommelier was great and so was the wine.

We came for a birthday dinner, and decided to go all in and try the porterhouse Chianina. The price was 187 for the steak alone. I bring up the price because it sets an expectation. At that price point you expect the best of the best and this fell short.

The bread they serve was fantastic. The service was on point, her name was Jazmin and she clearly knew her stuff. She was able to answer all questions I had and give in great details what to expect with the food. She certainly brought this review up at least one star.

When the steak arrived it was a little more on the rare side of the medium rare we ordered and it was immediately noticeable that this was a t-bone cut and not a Porterhouse, which is an important distinction as the t-bone has a much smaller Filet. Again this is where the price point and expectations come in. For this price point you expect perfection in all the little details. The knives were serated and were basically sawing through the meat and tearing it apart. Again a small detail, but an important one. For sides we chose Yukon Gratin which were fabulous! Outstanding. We also tried the brocolini but it came out very oil soaked. Less than ideal. The steak was good, but nothing amazing, and certainly not on the level of the Ruth Chris, or Mastros of the world, yet this was higher priced.

I was quite disappointed in the steaks. The appetizer and the caesar salad were very good but the steak was not tender. I would’ve expected a much better quality for the price of their steaks.

Order their over $150 steak medium rare.
It came rare, center was raw and cold.
They took it back and reheated it. It was already cut up. Meat was NOT soft. It left a lot to be desired.
This wasn’t even a $20 steak.
Very disappointed.

The food and service was great but for Valentine’s Day I expected a chocolate dessert. Unfortunately no chocolate so we went with the butter cake with apple crisp and sherbet. I told the waitress not to recommend it to anyone tonight very disappointed.

Steaks were a little underwhelming for a hyped up steakhouse. Portion sizes were small, but that was expected for an over priced steakhouse. Won’t be back at this price point.

The food and service were wonderful. They were out of a few things but I will return with a special date to enjoy some of the other items that were sold out, it was a Sunday evening and raining.
