Loved the food, we had the lobster roll and the chowder served with it was awesome
The Roast Beef sandwich was recommended and we found it to be absolutely delicious. One of the best roast beef sandwiches we have had.
We went here for our family vacation/ anniversary dinner. It was a great experience to have dinner on a fancy ship where the atmosphere was alive with history. The food was excellent. The service was also professional and of good humor.
Queen Mary restaurant, nice visit on the ship, great tourist stop
I’ve been coming here to eat with my daughter and we love it! The food and staff are great, and we always talk about it to all of our friends and family. I had a friend visit from out of state, so i brought him here for some drinks and food and he said that i was right on point. The experience was amazing and wants to return, next time he is visiting. A million thank you to the staff and chefs!
The food and service was beyond good. Highly recommend this restaurant
Lovely but far far far far too much food. Huge portions, much wasted.
The famous Queen Mary was the initial attraction. What an incredible ship with amazing history. We made the trip to Long Beach from north LA, and it was worth it. Sir Winston’s was booked so we opted for Chelsea’s. Good option. Casual with window views of Long Beach. Very beautiful and romantic. Food was very good, I had baked cod with asparagus and my wife had a dinner salad. We both started with chowder, New England for my wife and Manhattan for me. Drinks before at the bar were very good. For nostalgia buffs like me the Queen Mary is a must, and Chelsea’s is a good place to eat and relax after the ship tour.
We took our brother and sister-in-Law to see the Queen Mary (the historical tour was great, by the way) and we ate at Chowder House - great chowders: clam and Corn/Chicken! My wife enjoyed a great ‘mule’ drink as well. We sat by a window and could see the harbor and Long Beach as the sun set.
The food was okay. We ordered calamari, fish and chips and the shrimp scampi. The calamari was good, the fish and chips were too oily when we got it. The shrimp scampi was very watery and tasted like water. Our waitress was very nice though.
The chowder we had was extremely salty. Service took a really long while, considering it was an afternoon service with about 4 or 5 tables. The server doesn’t feel like in his accommodating mode so to speak . We had a light meal after a tour at the Queen Mary. I wouldn’t go back there again.
Great clam chowder
We thought the food would be a little more upscale. Service was wonderful and pleasant. Prime rib was tough.
Nice dining experience on the Queen Mary in Long Beach Harbor. Great service and great view.
Excellent food, great service!! Can’t wait to go again.
Classic rock playing in the restaurant??? Ordered clam chowder and it wasn’t very warm. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant.
Best fish tacos ever !!! Delicious bread pudding too.
Service was very attentive but too rushed for us considering there were few diners as was 'low season'. Glad we dined there but would not choose to again.
Kids nachos had no extras just cheese. Burger was ok not great. Salmon was undercooked and had barely any bacon. Overly expensive for what it was.
Great service and special thanks for the anniversary dessert!
My party and I arrived at the Queen Mary parking lot where we were supposed be able to park for free, but instead we were charged at a discounted rate. The signage was poor, and we were not sure where to enter the ship for the restaurant. When we finally found where to go ourselves once onboard the vessel. We were greeted and seated right away. The food was on the expensive side, and the quality was not exceptional just good. I would not recommend dining at this restaurant. Instead, the Queen Mary is a better place to go for drinks at one of the many bars onboard.
We had a wonderful time exploring the Queen Mary; just like being on a cruise ship from the 1940's! Several decks, stores, restaurants, gift shops, news stands, tours, museum exhibits. And I love all the old wood! So beautiful.
This is the mid-price restaurant on the Queen Mary. The staff were friendly, the food and service were good. For some reason the air conditioning was on (in December), so it was uncomfortably cold all through the meal. I would return but would bring extra layers.
Food was tasty. Staff were attentive and friendly. Although I felt pressured to order more food and drinks here, compared to other restaurants. Sir Winstons is lovely for an old world, romantic dining experience.
Nice spot to check out and enjoy a meal while we on vacationing. Walked around the ship after and enjoyed the history and view.
The waitress was really nice, and the food was great. The Creme Brulee dessert was probably the best I've ever had.
We were at the Queen Mary to celebrate a 48 anniversary and a birthday. The Chowder house was a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a good meal.
Took my honey there for his 60th birthday. His 2 brothers & sis-in-laws flew in from out of state. Luis was WONDERFUL and made our lunch surprise even better with the cake & great ideas. He suggested the Lobster Bisque, which I've never had, WONDERFULLY smooth and tasty. Everyone LOVED the Fish & Chips, including the Bday boy. I had Ceaser Salad w/chk, wow, it was so fresh.
Walking around afterwards made the day even MORE amazing.
I can't wait to go back again.
THANK YOU for helping make my honey's day so special.
P.S. and than you for the great weather because now it's too hot! lol

Nice restaurant while on the Queen Mary. Clam chowder was so yummy. A little pricy
We spend a super good time at chelsea, I recommend it and I definitely return 😀
Steak and pasta were delicious. Our server Angel was courteous and provides us great service.
We were celebrating on our daughter's birthday celebration and we were surprised by the cake and candle given to her.The restaurant has spectacular view of the long beach harbor.
I highly recommend to dine on this restaurant either you are on a business trip or pleasure.
I come to have dinner at least once a month at the Queen Mary weather it's Sir Winston's or Chelsea's Chowder House. I have see and tasted the improvements AR Sir Winston. Chelsea's Chowder House on the other hand change their menu to try to be higher end ( confirmed by the staff). Unfortunately they have missed the mark. the prices are high and for the amount you pay you should just eat at Sir Winston if you want. An example is there hamburger that has three beef patties in it it is a monster of a burger it does not have a place at Chelsea's Chowder House instead I would recommend that they bring back the fish and chips. Just my humble opinion.
The food was not fresh, over-priced and under flavored
Enjoyable evening with friends. dinner prices were reasonable for the quality of food.
A truly beautiful place to eat. Very good food, an excellent view and the waitress was great.
It's an 800 mile trip from my house. But my family and I will definitely eat here again when we come back next year.
The roadway to the harbor is in need of repair. The exterior of the ship has not been kept up. The interior is interesting and the Queen Mary is a good example of another era when travel was at a more leisurely pace. The dining area is not air conditioned and was quite uncomfortable in the early evening. The service was very poor. The meal, however, was excellent.
The food was just average, the oysters were very small and restless, the salads were average with nothing extra, the fish and chips again average the fries were not warm at all and tasteless.
This restaurant is advertising meals no longer on the menu. I ordered the clam chowder soup which on the menu comes in a bread bowl. It did not. The menu was short, not a lot to choose from.
Enjoyed a good meal at a reasonable price with an exceptional view!
It was our son's graduation dinner. We had the surf & turf and shared two meals amongst 5 of us. It was fabulous - alot of food, very tasty, tender and mouthwatering. Good service and a memorable evening.
