About Chef Warren's

Neighborhood bistro that keeps you coming back to try the things you didn't have room for .... Marianne's organic garden supplies Warren's kitchen with his beloved fresh produce and both are actively involved in the local food movement.

Chef Warren’s serves fusion cuisine - with a firm base in classic French (due to Warren's Culinary Institute of America education).

The ambiance is fusion as well - bistro style that is at once classic and comfortable with the added feature of an open kitchen so foodies can watch the work in progress.

Marianne runs nightly wine by the glass specials that allow you to try lesser known wine varietals, and the staff serve up amazing mojitos as well as an inventive artisanal cocktail menu.

Warren and his wife Marianne have spent the last seventeen years delighting diners with their worldly cuisine and genuine hospitality.

The Chilean Sea Bass special was superb with an interesting combination of ingredients. It was difficult to choose from an outstanding menu. The chocolate mousse dessert was a winner as well.

Absolutely incredible menu. Only place in town with escargot, which were divine! Chef Warren and his crew are real foodies and you can tell by the service and menu!

Delicious Tilefish, moist, perfectly prepared. Venison slow cooked with Moroccan spice risotto was a nice swing away from the usual. Our fourth visit. Will be back.

It was my wife’s birthday, which I told them about, and there was no acknowledgement of it. Not even a birthday wish. I felt like they really did not care ! Did not get a chance to enjoy our cocktails when we felt pressure to order our meal. Main entree came when we had not even finished our salads. The attitude was poor. Service was poor but the food was excellent.

A lovely New Year's dinner with live music perfect for the venue and the occasion. As always, the food was delicious... not a single misstep...and the service was professional and attentive yet friendly and relaxed. The decorations for the holiday were festive and classy. We had a wonderful evening and everyone else seemed to be enjoying themselves too!!

We go to Chef Warrens when in Pinehurst. Visit there 3 to 4 times a year. Very efficient and knowledgeable waitstaff. A great menu with always a variety of specials. Food is always delivered fresh and hot, with a great presentation. When in the area this is a must go place to eat !!

Great evening. My wife and I were in town visiting our son. The food and service were outstanding. We would place this in our top 5 list of places we’ve dined across the country. We will definitely return on our next visit to Southern Pines. The lamb was delicious.

We try to eat here whenever we visit our friends who live in the area . As alway, it was an excellent experience- great food, creative menu and use of local ingredients, original cocktails. They even let another friend bring his own wine ! Options for small and large portions, always save room for dessert. Chef Warren never disappoints . Anyone who travels to Pinehurst for golfing should spent a night away from the resort to eat here

I can’t write a review every time I dine at Chef Warren’s, but I will add slightly to my previous remarks. This is a white-table-cloth, cozy, upscale (but unpretentious) fine dining venue. Excellent wines reasonably priced. Friendly, knowledgable and highly efficient wait staff. In an area that features many excellent restaurants, Chef Warren’s has become my favorite.

Arugula Salad was overdressed and soggy. Mashed potatoes were barely warm. Despite the fact the server warned me of the hot plate my dinner was being served on. Very marginal dinner. Probably better to try another place in town.

It was one of the best meals I ever had. Plus, the entire staff was helpful and friendly without being obtrusive. Plus, they did an excellent job handling a food allergy of someone in our party making her feel completely assured of avoiding her allergens. Just an outstanding meal and experience!
