At Chef Melba’s Bistro, we use the freshest of ingredients to create your meals, and our menu changes with the seasons. As such there may be slight differences between what is posted on this website and what is available on the day you dine with us. We may also add daily specials utilizing fresh ingredients found at the local farmer's market. This menu has been put together with the goal of healthy life and healthy living in mind; to that end, Chef Melba uses organic natural products and wild seafood to the greatest extent possible.

We have a delightful selection of premium wines and beers to accompany your meal - see our wine menu for some of our current selections. You may bring your own bottle for a modest corkage fee.

Excellently prepared and flavorful dishes from an obviously very talented chef. Overall we were extremely pleased. The service, although very friendly and attentive was rushed (they removed my appetizer plate and brought the entrees out, but my wife was not finished with her appetizer) ...we would have liked to take our time to enjoy the experience more relaxed.

Off night maybe, but disappointing considering previous experiences. The calamari appetizer
was overly battered, fried, and tasteless. My companion's sole dish was very good but my lamb shank seemed microwaved back to life from a night or two previously. I would go back at some point based on previous experience but will wait awhile.

Delicious dinner with friends. Reservation on time. Chose a beautiful red wine. Specialty fish dinner so tasty and clean. Other filet of sole dishes were wonderful, too. Homemade apple cobbler for dessert. Chef even came out to ask us what we loved about the meal.

We have been coming to Melba's for years and surprisingly this was our first Valentine's Day here. Food and service were excellent as always. We love our quaint little Hermosa neighborhood gem.

As usual, the food and service were outstanding. The chef and staff did a great job putting toegethrr a very nice dinner for us, even though it was the “Valentine’s Day Crunch”. We are definitely returning, especially for next year’s Valentine’s Day.

Great food and service. The staff was friendly and helpful. As the seating is limited and a bit cramped, the noise level was a bit high. Still had a good experience and I would recommend.

A quiet date night was spent at Chef Melba's Bistro. Chef Melba herself made the rounds and took time to spend at each of her tables with a smile. We enjoyed the Blazing Mushrooms which were very well prepared and had many varieties of mushrooms served in a garlic herb sauce...delicious. For dinner, we had the very well prepared sea bass special with pappardelle pasta and the seafood asopado which was chock full of flavor and seafood. Great service and excellent food in a warm atmosphere!

Food is delicious, although Chef is now serving a premade bun instead of the grilled bread. We much prefer sliced fresh bread from the grill. Our server was very pushy, impatient and fairly dictatorial. He made a lovely evening feel rushed and uncomfortable. We have been long time fans of Chef Melba’s Bistro but his personality is enough to turn us off from the restaurant.

Chef Melba's had a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We picked seafood in Thai Coconut broth to split. It was delicious and quite filling. I suspect they may have given us extra because we split it, and in any event they split it for us without our asking . . . We will be back.

Melba's is a neighborhood gem. Fresh daily meats, fish and produce. All special requests accommodating. Wonderful staff. Amazing food.
