   Do give Chef Freddy’s a try—you will come back often. Very interesting menu. Our group tends to be quite picky, and Freddy never disappoints. I two at the table prefer spicy food, and selected their unique twist on a calamari appetizer, followed by their always fabulous Jambalaya —both were fabulous. Others at the table like milder dishes, and raved about their meals, too. Even the desserts were amazing. Remember, this is a BYO restaurant—if you forget, there is a liquor store adjacent to the restaurant.

   This was our first experience at Chef Fredy’s. It was outstanding. From the time we walked in and were immediately seated for our reservation to when we left everything was exceptional. The service was very attentive but not overly so and allowed the evening to move along at our pace. The online menu had a few items that sounded good to us so we decided to give it a shot. Once there we learned there were almost as many specials as options on the regular menu making it hard to decide as everything sounded great. Our calamari and clams appetizers were so flavorful and our sea bass and grilled scallops, shrimp and lobster tail entrees were among the best we’ve ever had. Chef Fredy’s and its manager Luis, made our regular date night one of the best overall nights out we’ve had in a while. Thank you. We’ll definitely be back on a regular basis.

   We have always been impressed by Chef Fredy and the wonderful staff. Our meals were delicious, no rushing you at all. It is a gem in Morristown. Thank you for offer such high quality food, with beautiful presentation, excellent service - what more can you ask for? Bring your own delicious wine and your family and friends for a fantastic dining experience. Chef Fredy and the crew will not disappoint. Enjoy!

    Always a good menu, and always good service. Unique items like venison, elk, and ostrich keep things interesting. Plus, it's BYOB, so won't break the bank on overpriced cocktails

    I eat out very often and this restaurant was excellent on all accounts. From the moment I walked into the door until I left everything was spot on! The service was excellent as was the food. The owners couldn’t be more engaged with the customers and the service. Overall it was one of the best nights out I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for a great night and excellent food this is your spot!

    Food was outstanding! My only complaint which is a common issue for restaurants is that the dessert menu had too many options with nuts. Was looking forward to Lemonchello dessert only to find out it was not available. Same boring desserts for people with nut allergies. Cheese cake, Ice cream, crème brûlée, Keylime pie(which should never be GREEN BTW) , or the infamous chocolate bomb. The crème brûlée was GOOD though, and better than expected. Overall it was a great dining experience, and we will be back.

    The food was AMAZING,and the staff was on point. We had 8:15 reservations and were seated in the appropriate time. Luis and Nestor were very professional and made it a priority to go around and greet there customers. Chef Freddy also popped out to introduce himself to the customers and walked around the floor to introduce himself. Little things like that go a long way in my book.

    We always enjoy Chef Fredy's and have been going since it was in its old location. The food is creative, artfully prepared and always delicious. Luis can work a room like no one we've ever seen. Nestor came to say hello also. My husband made a comment which was SPOT ON. The "fancy restaurant across the street" is all flash. Chef Fredy's is ALL substance. A true pleasure to visit and BYOB is always nice as well.

    It was a 75th party luncheon and was an absolutely perfect experience!! Our waiter Luis went above and beyond to make it a memorable occasion. Chef Freddy also visited our table for a delightful chat!! We will definitely return and I highly recommend this restaurant!

    Excellent experience. From the moment my wife and I walked in, we are treated wonderfully. The staff is very well trained. The owners are engaging. The food was terrific. You can tell that the owners are well organized. The octopus was delicious.

    My husband and I had a wonderful meal. My husband had the arugula salad and the jambalaya. He loved both dishes. I had the fig and goat cheese ravioli for appetizer and the short rib and lobster as my main dinner. It was delicious. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The owners we so gracious and friendly. We will defiantly return.

    Excellent dining experience, they really went all out for Valentines to make if feel special. Service, food, all over the top amazing. Noise level very comfortable, still very easy to have a conversation. Numerous people checking if all was okay during the entire night. A really nice neighborhood gem.

    Amazing experience from start to finish. Service is always amazing, wait staff is very attentive and excellent hosts. The food is amazing here, you will not be disappointed, always consistent. It’s a BYOB, so don’t forget some good wine.

    My girlfriend had the lamb and I had the steak. The food was phenomenal and the service was phenomenal. I would 10/10 recommend everyone I know to eat at Chef Freddys. The chef and the staff were the best.

    There is a reason why we keep coming back—-it never ever disappoints. From the moment you check in, Stephanie is so sweet and welcoming, and then Nestor greets you always with a smile. The servers are always so wonderful and attentive—you never have to ask to have your water glass filled. Then there is Luis who is always moving around the dining room, checking on everyone and making sure every detail is taken care of. Then there is the food….always superb. We had an incredible mango and shrimp salad and escargot for appetizers. Then for our entrees we had a wonderfully flavorful NY Strip and the massive paella. Chef Fredy has a talent for fusing the most creative flavors together. Dessert was worth the calories. We shared a very light pistachio mouse and a chocolate and peanut butter tartufo. If you haven’t tried Chef Fredys then you are truly missing out.

    Had a piece of hard plastic in my appy and my boyfriend got shrimp on his fish which he is highly allergic to and we were comped our dessert… should have been at least one comped meal
