Great for happy hour

At Chef 28 we offer you excellent food & a warm friendly atmosphere. We've been in the neighborhood since 1987 & have made many friends & loyal customers. We're pleased to expand our menu, with many new dishes. As always we use homemade sauces & the freshest ingredients. Also we bring Japanese kitchen including our special sushi with fresh assorted fish everyday to our dining.we waiting to see u soon to get a new experience with our food.

Today I ate Beijing duck with my friend. And special sushi roll it called as:fantasy roll. My friend very like it and happy to enjoy it.there has full bar also. My friend Rita drink lychee martini that was perfect. The waiter Eric. He's very wonderful and kindly. His service is very professional. I like very much. I will take my friends over to dinner.

This is one of a good restaurant , I ever have before in Manhattan. Very tasty Asian fusion Chinese food with real American people taste. They have a lot of good appetizer to start from the menu, one of them is sushi pizza was very tasteful, yellowtail jalapeño sashimi was outstanding. From the kitchen I was try the iron duck that was roasted duck sautéed with a fresh apple,lychee on the brown sauce and the second meal I have was crispy shredded beef little bit spicy sautéed with the house special sauce this was amazing. Highly recommended for newyorker taste.

My friends and I have an annual tradition of meeting for dinner at Chef 28 on the Friday after Thanksgiving. We have been doing this for more than 25 years. We have seen many improvements in the ambiance and quality of the food over the years. We expect to continue to return at least annually as long as they remain in business.
