Che-Ah-Chi at Enchantment Resort
Dinner: Daily: 5:30pm - 9:15pm
Very slow service and our food was cold when it finally arrived.
We were in the Sedona area on vacation and went to Che-Ah-Chi for dinner one evening. We could not have been more pleased - excellent food, great service, and - wow - that astonishing view is to die for! The wait staff was exceptionally knowledgeable about the food and its sources and very attentive. The menu is varied and original. We shared a mushroom soup and one of the chef's noble toast appetizers - both were wonderful. The duck entrée was well prepared and flavorful, while the pasta and boar sausage entrée was excellent. Either go for lunch or get there an hour before sunset to enjoy the views of the canyon. Very highly recommended.
Nice breakfast, very tasty. They did not have our reservation, but honored it when I showed them my open table res. Service was very slow but the food was good if a tad expenzuve
Beautiful setting but service was more in line with a second rate dining experience. If you go, skip dinner and just have drinks on the terrace. The views are beyond belief.
Excellent food service and spectacular view. Restaurant couldn't have been better!
Beautiful environment! Delicious food!
You MUST have the Lobster Bisque...incredible!!
The views from this restaurant are gorgeous. We absolutely loved the service and the food was outstanding. We had a wonderful time and I would love to go back if we are in the area.
A wonderful place. The Somali was outstanding and did not push us to buy expensive. The food was outstanding and the view was to die for!!!
Delicious food..excellent service...beautiful setting
Birthday! My husband's favorite restaurant. A bit costly, but the food is great with great service!
Terrific views coupled with terrific food and service. Cannot ask for more.
We visit Enchantment once a year (not nearly enough) and have breakfast here every morning. Though all the servers are truly outstanding and it's great to see them still there year after year (something that speaks volumes in the hospitality industry), we always ask for Oscar. He's just a delight, has the memory of an elephant, and always has wonderful suggestions for the menu. One day this time he suggested adding roasted jalapeños to my husband's dish, which he said they do every morning. A perfect extra touch. Between such a warm, professional staff, the most breathtaking view imaginable and a delicious menu, it's the ideal start of every day we spend in Sedona, and fuels a full day of hiking and adventures. Truly this restaurant and the staff we recognize year after year make this a fun part of our Enchantment stay, and a piece we look forward to whenever we return. Put this gem on your list, and not just for dinner.
Our meal was one of the culinary highlights of our stay in Arizona. The lobster bisque cappuccino was memorable.
Valet on duty. No offer of parking. No hostess at restaurant. Ate in more casual restaurant where there was a reasonable waitress. Poorest service experience ever. Who is in charge at this place
The cheese plate board and the Pheasant (special) were delicious. The filet mignon, although cooked well, was a little too busy for us with too much extra stuff overpowering the meat's flavor. The guitar player's soothing melodies were very soothing and helped the ambiance, but he often took breaks which created awkward silence in between songs. The service also left some to be desired. There were only two waiters for the entire restaurant, so it would take forever for them to come back and check on us. We wanted dessert, but decided to forego it because the service was so slow. Overall, decent food but ambiance and service need some tweaking. Would try again but wouldn't set my hopes too high.
This is my first experience at Chi-Ah-Che's and I would definitely come back on my next trip to Sedona! Everything from the view to the food was amazing and it's definitely my top Sedona favorite!
Wonderful Valentine's Day brunch!!
Lovely location and amazing view. Service was personable and efficient! Dinner was exceptionally flavorful and beautifully presented!
I had been here once 20 years ago, came back with family and it was as spectacular as I remembered
Unbelievable brunch. Best pancakes ive ever had. Amazing service and incredible breakfast menu. Sampled my other guest's dishes and all were outstanding. Highly recommend!!!
special evening on vacation - great high end restaurant when you want the best.
This restaurant is all about the view. The food was above average and the service was a bit slow - despite the restaurant not being terribly full. The menu was not quite as diverse as I was expecting. Be sure to dine while it is light or during sunset. The view alone is worth the drive.
Been here twice for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast buffet is below average for a very beautiful resort. We don't mind paying more for better quality. Buffet on Dec30th was not good, small selections, food almost gone at 10 pm. Please improve.
Great food and service not often found in Sedona. Very inventive menu.
The location is fabulous but the attention to detail for this high end resort leaves much to be desired. One would expect a warm and welcoming staff, but instead one receives a suboptimal experience with staff that is not as attentive as they might be.
All four of us decided to start with the Lobster Bisque followed by the Grilled Scallops and a side of Grilled Asparagus. The Lobster Bisque was one of the best any of us had ever tasted. The scallops were delicious. The next time I order the scallops, I will share one order as the portion was well beyond what any of us could finish! With the exception of the noise level, dinner was outstanding.
The Che Ah Chi restaurant was great. However, as noted by this follow-up e-mail on my reservation, when I appeared at the reception desk they said that I did not have reservation?? I showed the printed copy of my reservation, I was told there was no reservation. There is something seriously wrong with your system.
I am very sorry but the food was simply horrible. It was either too much seasoning or no seasoning. We came here twice but the foods are not good at all. Services are not terrific either. We won't come back. The executive chef needs to be changed
My wife and I went for breakfast. The Sunday brunch offered no more than your average hotel. The food was good but nothing special. I found two long hairs in my eggs and showed my server, he looked at it and said he would tell someone. Never heard another thing about it, not even an apology. Was not looking for a free meal but at least for someone to acknowledge it. For such a high end resort, I expected much more.
I would give it six stars if I could...so wonderful!
In town for one night, picked this place for dinner. We had reservations, which i highly recommend as it was a fairly full dining room. We were fortunate and snagged the only open table on the deck. To start i had the lobster bisque and my bride had the field green salad. We shared them as they were both excellent. The main course; My wife had the filet and i had the sea scallops, both were cooked perfectly. Last but not least we had this fantastic dessert, a trinagular cake enrobed in rich dark chocolate. The cake was multi-layered with a cream and ever so slight orange taste, it paired perfectly with the chocolate it was smothered in. Side note, i was hoping to enjoy a bottle of D66 by Orin Swift, but they don't carry it, however a bottle of Shatter was recommended by the Sommelier, he called it a baby D66. It was very good and not expensive at all compared to many of the other wines i was considering.
This place is truly a gem, go try it... but take your wallet, it was in the 200-300 range with tip.
Way overpriced considering the whole package. Tourist trap.
Ambiance, wonderful food, beautiful setting. What more needs to be said of this amazing restaurant at the Enchantment Resort, set among the breathtaking red rocks of Sedona.
Beautiful space with amazing scenery. Worth the drive into Boynton Canyon- we will be back!
Exceptional food and service! Fabulous ambiance. I would recommend to others that are visiting Sedona.
We loved our experience. This was our honeymoon and it was a perfect dinner.
Beautiful spot of course. Service fine. Food was horrendous and super expensive. We spent the same amount at MariPosa in town and there had appetizers as well as a main dish and a very good meal with dessert. At Che A Chi we only ordered main courses and dessert. I had the Halibut which was like a soggy dish rag. We were, all three of us, in agreement about our meals. A disappointment as it was our last meal at the resort before heading home.
Spectacular food, service, and drinks. Totally creative with unbelievable views. Special attention to every ingredient in both food and drink. And oh, the regular bread!!!! Extremely pricey, but I felt it was worth it. A totally unique experience in a VERY beautiful upscale resort.
But the booth cushions, whil providing the view of a lifetime, were a little too low.
Fabulous view and delicious food. We were not disappointed by this place. The service was outstanding but not intrusive . My husband had the extremely tender duck breast with a delicious grain poridge while I chose the lamb loin , also tasty . We shared the Brussels sprouts side dish which was an innovative turn on this dish using baby sprouts with a little sweetness of maple syrup. The food was the best we have ever had here.
Good service. Unique menu items. A little pricey, but at least the food was worth it. Beautiful setting with spectacular view of the red rocks of Sedona.
