Che-Ah-Chi at Enchantment Resort
Dinner: Daily: 5:30pm - 9:15pm
A spectacular modern American dining experience. Creative and sensational. Would rival NYC or SF at their best
The restaurant was amazing on both nights we visited. We were with family and a party of 6 with a baby. The waiters were amazing at bringing my husband and my meals out early as we needed to leave earlier than everyone else due to the baby. They made it so easy on us!
Outstanding! Every course was amazing. The salads were particularly extraordinary - I never knew lettuce could be so fresh and taste so good.
Incredible dining experience! Our server, Michael, was an amazing host and guide through our dining experience. His recommendations were thoughtful, tasted fantastic and really elevated our dining experience. We started with the Burrata, featuring bread made locally in Phoenix from the Noble bakery. The bread was fantastic. He also suggested the in-house made sodas, featuring natural ingredients like cucumber, local ginger and more. The ginger soda was refreshing and highly recommendable.
The dining experience continued to impress with a delicious lobster bisque cappuccino (presented as a cappuccino, not an actual caffeine drink). The main course was delicious as my date ordered her favorite (grilled lamb) and I opted for the filet. Both were cooked to perfection and left us full and quite satisfied. Michael was splendid. Endearing and friendly - he really made the experience great. We will be back!
Breathtaking view, friendly and attentive service, and excellent menu.
Was in town alone for work and ate alone and they were so good to me! Amazing view!
The view was fantastic and outdoor dining was comfortable even in July. The food choices were delicious looking and varied. I really enjoyed the scallops,my friend said the filet was excellent and the dessert was to die for. I wish I lived closer so I could try more dishes.
We have dined at Che-Ah-Chi several times over the last 2 + years. It has been our go to Wow destination for out of town guests because of the stunning views and excellent, albeit pricey, food. It slipped down the list a bit after this visit especially with some of the other excellent Wow restaurants in Sedona.
I wonder whether the restaurant has experienced a change of management and/or chef since our last visit. The food and the overall service were not at the outstanding level. My wife and I visited the restaurant for an anniversary dinner. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was only moderately busy. Yet, the restaurant seemed understaffed, at least with the wait staff. Our waitress was excellent (we have had her before) but she clearly was stretched thin by the lack of staffing. We did not get the customary follow through after our meals were served and had to flag staff down to request salt and pepper.
We tried a couple of new appetizers and entrees (a duck salad and a flank steak specifically) and did consider them to be at the standard of excellence we have come to expect from this restaurant. Perhaps we just stumbled on some weaker entries on the menu as the Lobster Bisque was still outstanding.
That said, the restaurant was very generous in helping us celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted with champagne and also provided with a desert. We will be back. Hopefully our experience was an anomaly.
One of a kind lobster bisque, & one of a kind service from Constance makes this outing an outstanding experience.
Service needs to be improved. New staff meant that the servers did not know who had ordered what dish. Two side dishes did not arrive which we cancelled. However, waitress apologized and compensated by offering complimentary dessert. Food was very good. Atmosphere was very good. Overall, we really enjoyed dinner. I am sure that service will improve.
We ate Sunday brunch here 5 years ago. The facility is being run by a new organization and the name has changed. The views are wonderful. Sedona and the valley this establishment is located in are gorgeous. The selection for brunch has diminished significantly from our last visit. I think the price is less than before but brunch was disappointing in comparison to our first visit. The food that was available for brunch was very good. I had to flip my chair cushion over due to the gobs of dried food present on the cushion. Since we arrived early and were the first to be seated at our table, staff missed the spilled food for closing and opening. The other side of the seat pad wasn't that clean either. Worth a trip for the view from the balcony tables or inside tables. We did enjoy our brunch but will be looking for another location next time.
Best views on earth.
Just fabulous. Michael our waiter was so knowledgeable and friendly. Food was incredible. View was dramatic. It was a little warm, but you're eating in the desert!
Food was very good ex dog for burned veggies. Waiter said some were grilled and some charbroiled so they should be burnt. Not like we had! They did make us glad we picked it for our 10th Anniversary! Thanks!
Incredible scenery. Excellent food. The staff was genuinely concerned about how we enjoyed the meal and went above and beyond to make it a fantastic experience.
So, the price point for a resort is about what you'd expect - a little on the high side - especially for the main entrees. Food was good. Service was excellent. Can't beat the view. However, if you're going to have a dress code - and they do - enforce it or don't have one at all - that's obviously my opinion and I feel strongly about it. I show up dressed according to the dress code and some other men do as well and then you see men and women in just about anything goes and I do mean anything goes. Personally, the last thing I want to look at when spending hundred dollars on a meal is another guys feet in flip flops - really???? really???? Put on pants and friggin shoes!!!! Have a code - enforce a code.
Started strong then our waitress literally forgot us for our main entree after we had enjoyed some wine and appetizers. I do not think she even placed our order. We waited and waited. She tried to appease us with a glass of wine, said she would give us our main entrees to go when we asked to leave finally, but then did not follow through on that. She did take the wine off the bill. Never gave us a receipt. Strange experience as it felt like we were her only table. Odd for such a high end and expensive restaurant.
View is spectacular, service was good, but the kitchen was a disaster. We ordered a steak medium rare and had to return it twice because it was done medium well and dry. At the third attempt mine was finally medium-rare but my husband's wasn't. We gave up. Food was over salted. That being said our waitress handled the situation well.
As the younger set say, OMG. Che-Ah-Chi at Enchantment Resort was probably our biggest treat of our five days in Sedona. Everything from the beautiful sunset , the service by Constance, to the drinks, to the presentation and taste of the food was outstanding.
Awesome food and scenery.
Lovely view and fantastic food and service. Well worth the drive for anyone staying in Sedona area.
The food and service was exceptional. It was the perfect place for our Anniversary dinner. Our server, Alana, was amazing. She started off by taking an amazing photo of us ,with our camera, utilizing the beautiful red rock walls of Sedona. Her description of each meal item was so thorough. We could not have had a better time
Always one of the most beautiful restaurants. Fantastic service. The food was awesome as always! If you are ever in the area this is a must restaurant. Best to come before sunset. That way you can enjoy the spectacular view.
Delightful! Beautiful setting. Constance, our server was knowledgeable, upbeat and made certain we had a nice evening.
Very good healthy food , good quality. Beautiful view
The restaurant was beautiful, wonderful views. It wasn't full but the service was not good, the waitress hardly came by. We had to ask for bread 2-3 times, it took forever for our drinks to come . Lastly the food was not good. My ravioli was so bland, basically no taste. Lobster bisque was oily, salty and hardly any lobster. Overall not a good experience.
From the moment we drove up to Enchantment Resort, we knew it was going to be a special night. I wasn't proven wrong. Our server, Michael, was a true professional, making recommendations and answering our questions. We sat at a romantic table facing the Sedona red rocks and watched the sun set. Our dishes were truly amazing - the Lobster Cappucino (don't get scared, ask about it!) and homemade ricotta were the perfect starters. We ate and smiled the whole time. After our meals (we had room in our second stomachs) we had Grandma's chocolate cake. To. Die. For. We will be back the next time we are in Sedona. A must visit for anyone looking for an elegant and delicious meal!
A fabulous experience! We loved this restaurant, everything was top notch from the view to the service to the food.
Such a beautiful setting. We were visiting the area and went to see the incredible sunset at Che Ah Chi. Our waiter was Robert and he was so much fun. My husband asked to have the smoked duck from the appetizer menu worked into an entrée and the chef came up with something wonderful. This was our favorite Sedona restaurant.
Fantastic view and ambiance
My wife and I were on vacation in Sedona, and a friend recommended Che-Ah-Chi. The restaurant is in the exclusive, gated, Enchantment Resort. The dining room provides an amazing view of the red rocks. There was plenty of outdoor dining, but as the sun set and the temperature dropped, we opted for an indoor table rather than sitting under a propane heat lamp and bundling up in blankets as a few diners did. Dinning indoors did not spoil the view as we were given a table beside the wall-to-ceiling windows. Che-Ah-Chi is not for anyone on a budget, unless celebrating a special occasion. However the setting, quality of the food and service, as well as the extensive wine list, are worth the price.
Well worth the drive, beautiful area. Service was excellent!
4 people. $550. Drinks = meh. Food = meh. Nice view though.
Wonderful dinner. Everything was just great- service, ambience, view and outstanding food. We enjoyed our dinner so much. Would go again. Highly recommend.
Great views of the canyon, personalized service, great dishes
Every thing that was put in front of us was delicious! Eating good food with the view of red rocks can't be beat. Favorite drink...smoked pineapple margarita
Gave this place a 2nd chance, and was once again let down. Started with the cheese board. Cheese was great, but they only gave 2 tiny pieces of bread which was not nearly enough for everything on the board. Then got the Lobster Bisque. The soup was fairly cold and there was basically no lobster to be found. For my entree I got the filet mignon, medium well, and it was absolutely charred to a crisp. The only part of it I liked was the mushrooms it came with. My boyfriend got the flank steak and said it was only okay. Ended the meal with a chocolate cake, and that was one of the few things that was actually good.
Food was excellent, service was relaxed.
As usual, Enchantment's signature restaurant offers an absolutely stunning view of the red rocks. It also provides a view of the adult pool, which was largely populated by very small adults (children). More importantly, my wife and I both ordered two of the entrees on 'special' for the evening and were less than impressed. However, the tomato bisque soup was quite good. All in all, if you want the view, go here. If you want really good food, drive into Sedona and visit one of the traditional favorites like Dahl and Deluca.
Beautiful views. It's a much better deal to order a la carte than the brunch buffet. The food selection is much better and so are the prices. I regret ordering from the buffet, as the food was warm/cold (it looked like it had been sitting there all morning) and the selection was underwhelming.
