In town for one night, picked this place for dinner. We had reservations, which i highly recommend as it was a fairly full dining room. We were fortunate and snagged the only open table on the deck. To start i had the lobster bisque and my bride had the field green salad. We shared them as they were both excellent. The main course; My wife had the filet and i had the sea scallops, both were cooked perfectly. Last but not least we had this fantastic dessert, a trinagular cake enrobed in rich dark chocolate. The cake was multi-layered with a cream and ever so slight orange taste, it paired perfectly with the chocolate it was smothered in. Side note, i was hoping to enjoy a bottle of D66 by Orin Swift, but they don't carry it, however a bottle of Shatter was recommended by the Sommelier, he called it a baby D66. It was very good and not expensive at all compared to many of the other wines i was considering.
This place is truly a gem, go try it... but take your wallet, it was in the 200-300 range with tip.
Way overpriced considering the whole package. Tourist trap.
Ambiance, wonderful food, beautiful setting. What more needs to be said of this amazing restaurant at the Enchantment Resort, set among the breathtaking red rocks of Sedona.
Beautiful space with amazing scenery. Worth the drive into Boynton Canyon- we will be back!
Exceptional food and service! Fabulous ambiance. I would recommend to others that are visiting Sedona.
We loved our experience. This was our honeymoon and it was a perfect dinner.
Beautiful spot of course. Service fine. Food was horrendous and super expensive. We spent the same amount at MariPosa in town and there had appetizers as well as a main dish and a very good meal with dessert. At Che A Chi we only ordered main courses and dessert. I had the Halibut which was like a soggy dish rag. We were, all three of us, in agreement about our meals. A disappointment as it was our last meal at the resort before heading home.
Spectacular food, service, and drinks. Totally creative with unbelievable views. Special attention to every ingredient in both food and drink. And oh, the regular bread!!!! Extremely pricey, but I felt it was worth it. A totally unique experience in a VERY beautiful upscale resort.
But the booth cushions, whil providing the view of a lifetime, were a little too low.
Fabulous view and delicious food. We were not disappointed by this place. The service was outstanding but not intrusive . My husband had the extremely tender duck breast with a delicious grain poridge while I chose the lamb loin , also tasty . We shared the Brussels sprouts side dish which was an innovative turn on this dish using baby sprouts with a little sweetness of maple syrup. The food was the best we have ever had here.
Good service. Unique menu items. A little pricey, but at least the food was worth it. Beautiful setting with spectacular view of the red rocks of Sedona.
We had nine people for dinner. Everything was wonderful. This was a return trip to the restaurant for me and it was as good as I remembered. The view, the food, the service were all superb. Our wonderful waiter was most accommodating to a large crowd
Wonderful view, mediocre food. It is a wiser choice to eat at the bar.
Good resort restaurant. Knowledgeable staff.
Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this location. The views and ambiance are spectacular making it worth the trip. Service was very friendly, professional, and attentive. I had the lobster bisque which was out of this world. It is served in a cappuccino cup with a liqueur creme froth on top. Very luxurious with more lobster than expected. My husband had a salad that was very fresh and an appropriate portion. Our dinners were another story. I had chicken and my husband had steak. Presentation, portion, ingredients were all great. Way too much salt! It was unbearable. Most of my salt was in the sauce and could be scraped off but the steak was marinated in the sauce and the salt permeated the whole dish. Side asparagus was really good. Not sure why the apps were so tasty and the dinners were so salty. I would still recommend this restaurant because tolerance for salt differs and the rest of the experience was great. Just thought I would send out a salt warning.
Staying at Enchantment Resort . Beautifully presented locally sourced food with southwestern flair all while facing the Red Rocks of Arizona. Delicious cocktails. Superb service !
Celebrating an important birthday, it was a perfect evening. The views are unbeatable and the staff put extra effort into our dining experience. A truly memorable time.
Excellent food and service and you can not beat the view of the red rocks! Always a pleasure.
Wonderful views of the red rocks and a great meal. Had Qual and great cocktail called the Artist. It was a night to remember.
Not much went right. After being seated, our waiter seemed to forget about us, another waiter had to go and get him. The entrees were not properly timed, they came out before we finished our salads. That rushed us through the dinner, while others around us got to dine at a leisurely pace. My bill contained an item I did not order (how does that happen) and I had to go and find the waiter to get the bill changed. If this is the best dining experience the resort can offer, I'll eat the rest of my meals elsewhere.
Love the view , 5 star service , 5 star food !!
A must when in Sedona. The food is treat for the palate and the beautiful scenery of the majestic red rocks are a treat for the eyes - the view is gorgeous, which adds romance to the ambiance.
Food was good, not great. I had the Filet and and asparagus, and temperature was a littler lower than I normally like food. If I hadn't been starving then I would've sent back. If I had to choose, I'd eat at Tii Gavo instead of Che ah Chi.
Don't waste an evening. Our party of 2 arrived at 8 pm for dinner. The hostess tried to seat us at a six top table. After complaining they re-seated us at a table for two, not pleasant way to start dinner. Food was average at best, did not have great wine list. Would not return again.
Outdoor dining and ambiance was perfect
Customer service was superb. Food portions adequate
the seat in the booth was uneven and uncomfortable
Restaurant was perfect. Awesome waitress, great food, amazing views. Only problem, open table does not work at this restaurant. They did not have our reservation and I was told that they typically do not get the Ooen table reservations. Luckily we had confirmed that morning and made reservations at that time.
Outstanding . Food, service and I think the best view in the country.
It is a place that needs to be on your must do list before you die.
You will not disappointed.
a very special place to dine. the red rock background is awesome. the dining is above average and just being there is a once in a lifetime experience. a must go if you are in the Sedona area.
The most memorable dining experience /
Superb Cuisine / and breathtaking scenery
Are equally paired !
Is an artist in preparing the plates -
My husband had the soft shell crab appy /
It was a true tableau / exquisite in taste /
In house ricotta was the foundation that anchored my delicious organic salad !
Filet mignon medium rare was on point
And the halibut was delicious !
Kudos to the chef and the staff ( Brian our server ) was attentive / excellent care / and Isaiah presentation was Royal !
Great work !
Fabulous - chi ah chi the best of Sedona along with
Mariposa ! Outstanding !
Never disappoints! Views spectacular, service incomparable, food delicious. Only disappointment was that they no longer serve Brunch.
Had brunch here for father's day, it was excellent as well as the service and the view.
My husband and I both ordered filets - medium. Both were well done. We sent them back and the replacements were medium well. By that time we just ate them. So not impressed with dinner there. But breakfast in this restaurant were terrific!
Wonderful views, interesting flavors, and lovely gracious service.
Started with cocktail in lounge, moved to dinner inside. Service was attentive but not overdone (a plus). Dinner waiter was very knowledgeable and made good recommendations on local wines.
The ambiance was unreal. It was so beautiful we felt as if we were on the set of a movie and it wasn't real!
Had breakfast and dinner here. Service extremly slow, wait staff minimal and lack of menu comprehension. At dinner , after waiting 40 minutes between appetizer and dinner, we told waiter that we were not waiting any longer for dinner and manager came over and said she would take the meals off our bill. No I am sorry it is taking so long, just here you go, pay for the too salty soup and weird, tasteless ceaser salad (which by the way was NOT a ceaser salad)! Breakfast was extremely so and the buffet had no imagination. I would think for $24.50 you would get mote than a pile of eggs that were cold and tasteless! Do not eat here!
When in Sedona, you are missing a great experience if you don't stop for dinner at Che-Ah-Chi at the Enchantment. Always an interesting menu and a great wine list. Great service.
Magnificent setting with a great menu. Beautiful decor and food nicely served. Big disappointment was a colleague received a call and left the dining room to take the call. The server brought his food while he was gone and left his dinner on the table . That is VERY unacceptable in any restaurant but especially in a restaurant of this caliber. Suggest wait staff be appropriately trained.
The staff was very friendly, our server James was excellent, The food was uniquely prepared, and the presentation was excellent.
Enjoyed our 10th anniversary with dinner next to the red rocks of Sedona. Everything was terrific. The waitress (Alana) was the best! She was pleasant and did an exceptional job handling our food allergies. The food was delicious - two fish dishes. And for desert we were surprised by a sorbet dish with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate on the plate.
