   We were quickly seated outside with perfect weather and an amazing view of the red rocks. We started with delicious guacamole and salsa with tortilla chips. The margaritas were also delicious. My wife enjoyed the hamburger with truffle fries and I had a salad with an undersized piece of salmon that was a little overcooked, but still tasted great. The service was top notch from beginning to end. Make sure to make reservations at least a couple of months before you travel to Sedona, we wanted to make a reservation for dinner, but none were available and only a few were for lunch. The meticulously manicured grounds of the Enchantment resort is nestled in Boynton Canyon and is simply amazing.

   I drove an Australian guest to Sedona for a gal pal day trip which included lunch at Enchantment Resort’s charming restaurant. We had a lovely leisurely lunch with excellent service and stunning views. Then to avoid the horrendous Sedona traffic, we took the back road to Jerome before heading back to Phoenix. A lovely day trip to say the least❣️

   We had a delicious breakfast- eggs Benedict and huevos rancheros with the perfect Bloody Mary and mimosa. The view was drop dead gorgeous and our service was wonderful!

   If you travel like we do, you know that the hospitality business is suffering for staffing. Our experieince at Che-Ah-Chi is a classic example of under prepared staff. While there was enough staff to cover the room, which was maybe 1/3 full at noon, most presented themselves as new and inexperienced. We patiently waited 45 minutes for a salad and a pizza.....a kitchen not prepared for lunch. A wait person not managing her tables with appropriate service and communication.....a team member not properly trained for the job. And while the setting is spectacular this dining room is over due for a refresh. Food was so so, just typical hotel fare.....$14 for a soup appetizer needs to be better than what we received. Overall a disappointment as this was to be a special part of our day trip to Sedona from Scottsdale. Way too many options in Sedona to settle for Che-Ah-Chi....at least until management invests in staff training and preparation for guests.
