Food was excellent and came out fast. Also Bryan B. was our waiter and provided top notch service.

I didn't think it was possible to serve bad Mexican food, but this restaurant accomplished it. I had fajitas and my friend had enchiladas. My friend's food came out cold, and the steak for my fajitas came out so tough it was not editable. I ordered beans without cheese, and my beans came out with cheese. My plate was taken back and not returned for ten minutes. The prices were ridiculously high with the restaurant even charging 4.95 for chips and salsa. It is the first Mexican restaurant I have ever been in that charges for chips and salsa. On top of the charge, the chips were stale and the salsa blah. The waitress came around only when we flagged her down, and a second waitress had to get her in order for us to get our check. The restaurant seemed to be devoid of any locals, and the restaurant appeared to be a tourist trap. I would not recommend anyone frequent this restaurant.

Had a great valentines dinner with my wife. The server was very friendly, kind and had great conversation. The food was amazing and atmosphere was comfortable

Going thru some remodeling but seated outside next to toasty warm heaters was very pleasant. Closed the place after theater great people watching. Yummy shrimp fajitas salmon was good but a bit spicy.

The food was adequate. The waiter messed up our order they fixed it quickly. I had the short rib tacos which were short ribs and a wraps beans and rice nothing else to put on the taco rice and beans on the side. My husband had the roasted corn enchiladas which he did not finish. Overall we were not impressed by the food. We had a groupon so at least it wasn't full price.

We started at the bar for Happy Hour - service was terrible but the mini nachos were good. We moved to the restaurant for dinner and had the opposite - very nice server, but food was disappointing. Tacos were bland and served "build your own style" which I wasn't aware of. When I order tacos I want them pre-made and ready to eat with more than just meat. The fajitas were spicy. My boyfriend said his steak was good. It was my birthday so my sister asked if they had a special dessert. The only option was flan, which they brought with a candle in it, but they charged $8 for it. I hate flan so it was a waste of my family's money. Skip dessert at Chayo and go get Ghiradelli or Sprinkles instead (both in the same promenade strip as Chayo).

We were celebrating my daughter's 25th birthday. We sat by the mechanical bull which was fun to watch when people would dare to try. The drinks were way over priced, but I guess that's what dining on the Strip area will get you. The food was good and the server was attentive. Overall a good experience.

I have been to Chayo and equally happy twice. Their queso and guac are fantastic. Staff are always friendly helpful and happy to give recommendations.

Sorry to be too harsh on you, but I won’t visit here ever again:(

Food was subpar... no taste and I can make way better food by myself! (Even by non-Mexican here!!!)
Especially its Asada(?) steak? Meh...

Also, NO happy hour deal for peep sitting outside... is it normal?

The only thing I like here was its ambiance due to vibe in the street.

Oh, thanks for manager’s special comment about using Groupon, “Special(?) discount was applied to your bill!”, which sounds sarcastic and I do appreciate to wrap up my experience here lol

Food was awful - very salty .We had the nachos and it tasted like the chips were out the entire day - not crunchy - kinda soggy and tasted like it had gone bad. The cheese, we were convinced was cheesewiz and tasted just as bad.
We had planned on staying there for dinner - but walked out after the drinks (which were great) .
Ambiance was ok - TVs were really really loud and had to scream to have a conversation.

Pleasantly surprised! Service was amazing and the food was delicious. I had the Carne Nachos with black beans. I wasn't a huge fan of the salsa but I've had the best salsas in the world so my salsa bar is set pretty high 😂 I totally recommend the nachos.

Food was average at best. My carne asada was a good piece of meat but tasted like it was nothing more than dusted with taco seasoning. Wife's chicken fajitas had some odd bright green seasoning on it. Music was extremely loud, to the point or party of five couldn't even talk to each other without yelling. The margaritas and chips/salsa was good though.

The restaurant is nice looking but the food was not good and not worth the price. I’ve had better Mexican fast food at 1/4 the price. The restaurant was not even half full and we had to work very hard to get someone to take our order or to attend us in any way.
I went to this restaurant a couple of years ago and the food was much better and the menu was much more complete. They’ve condensed the menu and have stopped putting an effort into the cooking. It’s such a good location but not worth it.
