Other great restaurants with availability. The service was very slow. I had to go up to the bar to get our own water. Waited at least 10 minutes.
Really good food
I've been before and loved Chayo but Saturday night but not their best night. We had a table right by the door that they kept forgetting to close so it was uncomfortably cold during dinner, despite several requests to close the front door. We even got up ourselves once when they left it open. The food was okay, but not as good as I remembered but great location as we had tickets to see Paula Abdul that night.
We had dinner here after seeing an early show. Service was quick and efficient! My husband had a carnitas burrito which was huge and the rest of us had the sweet corn enchiladas! Everyone was VERY satisfied!
This was our first visit. Food was very good but for one out of the three of us way too spicy. Large selection on the menu. We would try it again.
El beeper el beeper el beeper el beeper!
Service and ambience was great. Would be a five star all around if there were vegan options. To eat vegan you have to tweak a menu item and was not filling after being changed. These days most venues have vegan options and it is so easy to do with mexican food. Please consider adding just a few vegan entrees.
Dinner included with show at Harrahs
Matt was amazing!
Was a great spot for casual meal. The shrimp tacos were really good!
Bad Service, worst waitress I have ever had, food not good either. In a town like Vegas, this place won't last!
The atmosphere was amazing it wasnt loud. The food and drinks were great. Everyone was pleasant and the bull riding was hilarious. A bit pricey but expected since it's on the vegas strip. I enjoyed my birthday night!
So good! The sweet corn enchiladas are amazing and the house margarita with blood orange mix! So good!
Had a Groupon for dinner and it was well worth it!! Place was very nice. Music was great! Food was huge portions and margaritas were good and strong!!! Will definitely be back next time we’re in Vegas.
Competing music here and across the road, both way too loud! So hard to hear even the person next to you on the patio. Food was great. Prices stupidly high, particularly on drinks.
Our party of 8 had the rudest and the most inpatient waiter. He commented multiple times “how busy he was”, that made us feel rushed, unwelcome, and felt we were disturbing him for being there. He was in the middle of taking our orders when he suddenly just started talking to another table then came back to finish our orders.
I’ve visited Chayo many times before and love their food. Our server on this experience was quite inattentive, but luckily a couple other servers helped with occasional refills. Prior service was always excellent. The food is excellent - my favorite burrito anywhere.
The tuna tartar starter was very good and the beer was cold but after that it went downhill. The worst thing you can say about Mexican food is it lacks flavor and my burrito had no flavor at all. No salt, no spice, no heat, nothing.
We had a fantastic time and really appreciated the recommendation of a bar round the corner from our server, wish we could remember his name. He was great.
There were no el carte items to in besides appetizers, so instead we had to get a full meal and waste most of it.
With so many options in Vegas, choose anything else
Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The Carnitas burrito was perfect and the Lamb Fajitas were one of the best entrees I’ve ever had. Huge portions!
Typical Vegas strip dining spot. Very noisy. Food was mediocre at best but was served hot. Cocktails were a disappointment. Especially for the price. Service was just okay. Our server had too many tables. Hostess group was very unfriendly. If you enjoy a loud atmosphere and average food then this is your place. I do not like giving negative reviews but this place failed in so many areas.
Fun ambiance and good food. Be sure to order the cheese dip!
Service was inattentive at best. Appetizers took about 25 minutes to arrive, and then entrees arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. Had to ask for things multiple times, including the bill. Food was pretty good, guacamole was outstanding.
Please I implore you not to eat aft this restaurant. It's the worst restuarant food I've ever had and I'm 60 years old. There's no redeeming quality to this restaurant. By the way I forgot to mention that the food was outrageously priced. Stay away you'll thank me.
Great food, accommodating service and good value. We ate breakfast which was very good. We will be back.
A conveniently located Mexican on the Linq Promenade. Open air dining is available, thankfully the oppressive Vegas heat is relieved by the general street misting during the summer, bringing the temperature down to make a very pleasant experience.
The food was better when we visited three years ago but the portions are still generous, even if it’s slipped down into a ‘cheap and cheerful’ category, rather than ‘wow’.
The staff are rather disinterested, which is a shame and they really don’t earn their expected tips. They start off smiling and quickly become forgetful and invisible.
Still, all in all, it’s an okay place to grab a bite, although maybe you should walk down to In ‘n’ Out burger instead for better quality food!
Very mediocre food. Cocktails taste like fruit juice loaded with added sugar. Won’t recommend this place.
Only saving grace was the service.
Too expensive. Staff was mostly friendly, but sparse.
We love this place and always make it a point to have breakfast here when in Vegas!
We chose outdoor seating this visit. Even though it was really hot outside, the patio was breezy and comfortable. Awesome food, mediocre service this visit.
Pretty good Mexican food in a nice setting. Not too difficult to get a table, they had one available same day at the time I wanted. Good sangria, the short rib enchiladas were decent but the meat was just a little tough. It came with Mexican rice, refried beans and a deliciously hot habanero sauce. Desert was a fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream and fruit. The presentation was nice but the brownie was a little dry and the ice cream was nothing special. Definitely a decent casual dining spot. Would go again.
The food was great, our waitress was pleasant, helpful and informative. My wife and I will definitely return.
Wonderful evening! The service, the margaritas, the guacamole, and the entrees were above par!
It was a unique experience. Definitely worth trying. Food was terrific. Space felt like a buffet restaurant.
Our waiter was the worst. Het let all of our water glasses go empty, forgot my sons drink, gave my kids the adult menu order of tacos when they ordered off the kids menu. charged us for the adult version. My wife's salmon was raw and she found a hair in the guacamole. The waiter was too busy trying to "hook up" the people at the table next to us with tickets to some night club. Worst service ever and not that good of food.
Food was good, drinks good, service was disappointing.
Good service. Nice ambiance. Great food. Decent value.
Great brunch menu and vegetarian friendly. We have made Chayo part of these last two Las Vegas trips.
Delicious food, the hostess was friendly and Roxie, our server, was fantastic.
