It was amazing the food was outstanding and the service was just outstanding. Would recommend anyone who’s looking for a great Indian restaurant in Nashville to go here💯
Great night loved our waitress food A+ as always
Everything was amazing - service, food - ambiance. Our server Brandon was amazing. He guided us through our entire meal. Every recommendation was fantastic. We can’t wait until our next visit.
It was very loud and hard to talk at our table but the food and service was excellent. I would highly recommend giving it a try!
Excellent food with a menu that is easy to navigate. Also great casual but chic ambiance.
We love this place. Only downside is it is loud so chatting with others is difficult. Good is great!
The restaurant was SO LOUD that it felt like work to stay in there. We had to almost yell to converse with our friends right across the table. The noise affected the entire experience, so it is difficult to really know how good the food was, etc. The waitress was very nice & professional.
Outstanding and delicious, as always. Thank you.
Went for dinner and tried a few dishes. The pork belly we had was over cooked and hard. The other dishes were tasty. Service and management left some things to be desired. We were treated especially rudely when we inquired about validating parking by management
FOOD WAS GOOD WITH LIMITED MENUE. OUR SERVER KIRSTYN R WAS VERY GOOD.
Yum! Our favorite place to eat in Nashville. Good thing we don't live there and so it's a treat. Can't wait to go back!
No valet took forever to park finally called restaurant who informed of collaborator with Whole Foods parking garage. Seated in back corner by bar with 4 people 1 ft away at bar being loud and cursing loudly. Really just wanted to hurry through dinner
This was our first visit to Chauhan. We ordered the artichoke pakoras, garlic Parmesan naan, raita, and methi malai mac and cheese as appetizers. For entrees we had the tandoori chicken with korma, sea bass with bhunna, and the shrimp with the goan curry. All of the food was fabulous. We would definitely order any and all of these items again. My daughter ordered the gulab jamun stuffed cheesecake with strawberry coolie for dessert and she totally devoured it. I will be telling everyone I know to eat here. I will also be back every time I come to town.
Amazing! The mussels are a must!!
Awesome all the way around. Terrific food!
So good! The hot chicken pakoras abd the prime rib naan are particularly good.
Our favorite place never disappoints and this time was no different. Delicious appetizers, interesting and tasty cocktails (I had the Mariah Curry this time), crazy good entrees, fun vibe! We are big fans of Maneet's creations and only wish we could come at least once a week!
We walked past the restaurant because it was so dark we thought it was closed and there was no welcoming signage to show the way. Once we found it we were greeted and seated promptly. Service was pleasant but slow. Our appetizer came before our drinks so they must be short staffed. Food had good flavor but very rich and heavy. Ordered the vegetables with saag and was disappointed at how few vegetables were swimming in this heavy sauce. Only cauliflower, a few peas and a little asparagus I ended up picking out and shaking off excess sauce before eating. Poutine was, again very heavy. Fries that had soaked up sauce under a cap of congealed cheese. Garlic naan was the best dish we had but would not go back just for that. Dark interior felt lonely.
Chicken was undercooked. Cocktails were expensive for size. Overall good was good and portion size was above average.
One of my favorite restaurants. Our server was excellent! Thank you for making it a special night for me and our guests.
Consistently delicious! Expect Indian fusion food, not Indian food. The fusion makes the Indian food unique and so, very good!
Great food! Recommend the poutine, garlic & parm naan, and vindaloo!
Food was good but not Extra ordinary but was over priced , way too loud and dark. Soo sad we were so excited to go and eat there.
First time trying Indian food. Did not disappoint. Emma was pleasant and informative of the menu. The only negative aspect was the parking. Said it was to be validated. Never had a parking validation not be free. Had we known prior about parking could’ve parked almost anywhere free.
Our second trip here and it was great again. My filet was cooked perfect and our server Jamie was outstanding. Will definitely be back!
We had very high expectations, as we frequent many Indian restaurants when traveling, and this restaurant has great reviews. The food was okay but didn’t have a lot of flavor. We definitely enjoyed our whipped paneer app. The naan was middle-of the road compared to others.
It took a while for someone to take our drink order but our waitress was nice and helpful during our experience. Food was out quick after order placed, which is awesome!
It is extremely loud — I have excellent hearing and couldn’t hear the guests at our table. Overall, okay experience but I would probably opt for elsewhere.
Brought my family from the Midwest who have never had Indian food before. They loved it and enjoyed the atmosphere.
The lamb nachos came out first as our appetizer and realized right away how cold they were. Just not the same same as the first time I had them they were delicious. Heat is very important for the taste. Took friends with us and had bragged about the food so I was a a little embarrassed and disappointed. The chicken tikka masala was good and the chicken korma but they both tasted very similar. The service was great!
Parking is a big problem,
Food is truly outstanding. Very eclectic flavors. rinks took quite a while to arrive.
First time trying Indian food, very good.
One of the best dining experiences of my life. Outstanding food and atmosphere. Worth the trip to Nashville.
Food was amazing. Nachos were sooo good
Fun for Non-Indian people as there are options without all of the spicy heat. The food is delicious and I consider it an upscale place for Indian food. Plentiful portions, interesting menu.
The food and service was outstanding as usual! The cocktails were on point too! We had a few left overs after entrees, naan bread times two and the chicken poutine app. Amazing!
great food, very uncomfortable seating, rude hostess but good waitstaff
Nice ambience. Enjoyed the innovations to classic Indian dishes!
My husband just told me “excellent choice!” I have to agree with him. The food and atmosphere made for a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. We started off with artichoke pakoras — so good! The pork chop with tikka masala which was delicious; the same goes for the shrimp with korma curry and lamb bhunna. It was the perfect portion size for our party of there. I have to agree with others though that they were a little skimpy on the rice. We thoroughly enjoyed the short rib naan and the sticky toffee upside down cake was also delicious. Highly recommend!
Very Bad Experience.
Waiters were not able to describe the menu.
Tikka Masala is so sour that it was made of tinned tomato.
It didnt taste fresh at all(both Tandoori Chicken Tikka Masala and Panneer).
The music was great for this 80-90s music lover. The food was fantastic and the waitress gave great suggestions.
Overall a very nice date night in Nashville.
