Our dining experience was wonderful from start to to finish. We arrived early for our reservation and were graciously swept away to our table. The servers were very attentive but not overwhelming. Very eager to please. I read many reviews for The Chateau of Spain, and it seemed the steak on a stone was the most highly recommended entree, but it wasn't on the menu. Our server said they don't put it on the menu any longer because it takes a very long time (I think it was 40 minutes) to heat the stone. The steak came out sizzling on the stone, which still needed to cook. I cut the steak in thick slices then it cooked pretty quickly. The steak was delicious, absolutely delicious. My husband had shrimp scampi and he also enjoyed his meal. Don't forget the red sangria, it's wonderful. I'm not one to post reviews, but the food was exceptional. We will be coming back the next time we see a show at NJPac.
