Valentine Date night
Everything was great.We Enjoy The chef selection of food.Was nice that the waitress did not rush us,and let us enjoy our special night.We will be back,and always enjoy coming up there.
Went to the Chateau for valentines dinner. menu was superb, and service was impeccable. thanks for making it an great night.
Greeted with complimentary glass of Vin Gris wine which was good. Directed to our table in quiet part. Immediately waited on with knowledgeable waitress. Next glass of wine was excellent. Salad, trout and desserts were excellent. Excellent service.
We had reservations to celebrate Valentine's Day. Food for superb; stuffed chicken breast and kale was out of this world! Wine delicious as I expected! Definitely a repeat!
Cozy by the fire. Nice menu. A bit difficult to get to with Parkway closed.
The atmosphere, food and staff were exceptional. The fire in the fireplace was lovely and welcomed on a frigid day. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We love it here but were highly disappointed when we ordered our favorite item, duck eggs, only to find out they were removed from the menu the day before! The wait is unusually long for a only having a small number of people in the restaurant but we do enjoy the atmosphere, dining, scenic view, and the quaintness here so we will be back . However we hope they passed our disappointment to the new chef and will add the duck eggs back to the menu soon!
Our experience was lovely. The waitress and kitchen were accommodating for substituting one side for another. The food was absolutely mouthwatering and did not disappoint. The wines were wonderful. A real experience. If you visit during the day you will be able to take tour of the winery and gift shop. Chateau offers many other events of which we have not yet had an opportunity to experience, like the concerts and wine tastings.
My husband and I have been visiting Chateau Morrisette for at least 25 years and have loved every visit and meal! We love having Jennifer as our server in the restaurant. Often, we have our family and friends join us and so far all of them have enjoyed their experience as well!
We do miss the rack of lamb that was on the menu last spring. Please consider adding that entrée back to the menu.
Sorry to say, not the best....our appetizer was brought out just before our meal.....either she forgot to put it in, or someone forgot to bring it out. Several meals were not very hot, most meals were very tasty though.....
The good: great views! Food well prepared, service was great, warm fire burning, very cozy, great to do wine tasting beforehand.
Bad: several of the dishes we ordered were not available and we had an early dinner time. We were misled about the happy hour prices. Portions are small and very pricey. Only one vegetarian option and limited gluten free options.
Was a nice experience but probably wouldn’t eat there again.
Our food was ok. My burger was over cooked and fries were cold and under seasoned.
Have been to the Chateau multiple times. Food is always excellent, although this visit food was not quite as outstanding as usual. Duck was a bit tough. Risotto was just too “plain”. Plus, given the high price points, entrees should really include a soup or salad. $25+ for a small portion of risotto with 4-5 asparagus spears, no bread, no salad, no soup is simply not a good value.
We love the setting and enjoy the food. There are three dining areas inside; the largest space of the three is attractive BUT the lighting is not romantic at all. We always ask to be seated in either of the two smaller dining rooms.
If you want to dine outside, you MUST reserve a table. It’s hugely popular for the view and the setting.
We have only one complaint, the bread at the table is awful. The local FoodLion artisan bread would be 1000 times better. Chefs come & go but somehow the restaurant maintains the quality. (Except the bread).
We had the best time! Our server was awesome and the food was amazing!!! Definitely will be back in February for another birthday 😊
Had lamb meatloaf which was incredible. Amble serving. Service was excellent and wait staff was very personable and attentive.
We were somewhat disappointed in our experience. Maybe this is a place to go in the summer - they have gorgeous views and outdoor areas. However, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. When we asked about the temperature we were told that the person who brings wood was sick and they couldn't build fires in the fireplaces. Odd on the surface, and there was a full cart of wood near the entrance. The food was adequate but uninspiring. We were there for brunch and had burgers. One was ordered medium and one medium well. They were cooked identically and both were charred on the surface. Fries were bland. Doubt that we will return.
