Good food, no complaints, only downside, beer on tap. Was not cold enough... switched to bottled beer with was compliment s on the house
Joey has a great spot. Seafood was awesome. I definitley recommend.
Went for our Anniversary and it was a very nice experience. The food was delicious, we ordered off of the fixed menu. The stuffed shrimp was loaded with crab and it was excellent. The appetizers(oysters Rockefeller and stuffed mushrooms) were especially good as well as the deserts(creme brûlée and molten chocolate cake). Make sure you go on a Friday so you can see the fireworks show at the Ilikai. Highly recommend
My son and I were in Waikiki for a vacation and had a very nice dinner here. We were seated in the balcony area overlooking the marina. The food was wonderful and the service was also great.
This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. We wanted a local favorite. The restaurant is older but the service and food was outstanding!
Food was acceptable, not up to expectations
Wait staff pleasant, attentive and best part of meal.
Overall, about average. Salad was old meaning the edges where all reddish brown. Steak was tough on the end tender in the middle. Sea Bass was very nice. Overall the meal was nice, given the reviews and recommendations, my expectations where much higher.
Extremely loud and table of children next to us completely out of control. Loud and disruptive. Their MaiTais, for which they are know, are ridiculously expensive and not as good as other local places that are more reasonable in price.
Originally one of my fav places to go as a newcomer to the island, is no longer an enjoyable place to dine. Not worth the greater than $100 for two adults and 1 child.
Have been going to this Chart House for many years. Have also visited some on the mainland. This is our favorite.
Very much in need of updates. Caters to the “early bird” crowd with large portions and free soup or salad option. Food was way overpriced (despite the large servings...which were sub par). I got a filet that would have been 10x better at Outback and half the price. My husband (who has a pretty solid stomach when It comes to food tolerance) had the baked ahi but he didn’t care for it and had to run into the bathroom all night. Go to House without a Key, Hula Grill, Outback or pretty much any other place for dinner. The view is spectacular. That’s about it. Food was meh at best.
Service was poor. Food was underwhelming.
So good, we went back again! Everything was amazing, just a perfect spot right on the harbor.
Joey was our waiter and he was great. There when you needed him and scarce when not. Great food.
Dads 70th, they brought out a huge piece of cake for him and sang and played happy bday on a guitar, great food and service xx
Skanky. Service was not good. Prime rib was as bad as I've ever had. Fish cream sauce was inedible. Even the chicken nuggets were not very good. While the Cakebread was wonderful the overall experience was not what it used to be. Understand why the franchise reputation has gone downhill.
Had great expectation as I had a wonderful experience last time at the old location in Honolulu about 15 years ago however I am sorry to say with the present restaurant although it is a great location, food was overpriced and very poor quality.
We are return customers every year. Always enjoy the food, and excellent service.
It took waaaay too long to get our food. Because of the timing, we missed the Honolulu festival fireworkds.
Food is bad wedding reception quality at best. The setting is the only redeeming quality, but there are many better options on Waikiki.
We enjoyed our dinner and the view was beautiful, but the restaurant needs some updating.
Very good great value
We dine at Chart House in every visit to Oahu. It is one of our "go-to" restaurants in Oahu. The food and ambiance are outstanding. Their signature dish, the Ahi Mignon, is one of the best preparations in the islands. However, this trip, the Ahi was a little dry and did not taste fresh. The Ahi at Lei Lei's (Turtle Bay) and Duke's (Maui) was much better. Otherwise, the meal was excellent. The only downside is the hour we spent navigating the heavy traffic between Ko Olina and Waikiki. By contrast, it took only 35 minutes to drive much farther to Haliewa Joe's in Kaneohe.
Great atmosphere and view while dining. Excellent service dishes cleared quickly, the food was prepared as ordered and very tasty. Value menus available for those on a budget.
Anniversary dinner and our server was. Wry attentive
Liked everything except were they wanted to seat us. Ended up sitting in the bar for a good sunset view.
We loved the food and the service. Very nice, quiet environment and on Friday nights you can see fireworks from the restaurant. We definitely would return and recommend.
It was good place for my aniversity.
i want seat a balcony, but so many person already seat.
Chart House never disappoints. The food was excellent and big portions. We all ordered off of a special menu. $59 for an appetizer, soup or salad, main dish, and dessert. Delicious! We can wait to go back.
We ordered a course for 2 ( oysters, clam chowder, fillet mignon steaks, king crab, lobster, sorbet and crème brûlée, coffee) and these are so tasty!! Especially, a whole lobster is big and delicious ( I’m a lobster lover and I think this restaurant’s lobsters are the best in Hawaii). We could see many yachts from our table so my father and bro soon liked the restaurant ( they loved harbor restaurants). And the service is awesome!! When we left the restaurant, I left my iPhone on the table, but I didn’t notice it, we were waiting for the elevator. But a waitress ( I forgot to ask her name;-( She had pony-tailed long Jaír, and her height is about 160 cm) was immediately coming running toward us and handed my iPhone to me!! She is sooooo kind!!! Absolutely, we will be back to eat delicious sea food!!
Found the restaurant very noisy- could not have a normal conversation. Steaks are very expensive and not good value for money. The sword fish was very good.
Food and service was excellent. We were here 34 years ago.
The Prime rib was exceptional, fast service and retro-atmosphere. Definitely has a Hawaii feel to it and loved that we were right next to the harbor
Better than expected food and service. Will dine again.
Our dinner was very good, Food was amazing! We had the 59.00 dinner.
