   It was very unfortunate, we have been to Chart House before and we’re expecting to take out of town family for a great experience with a great view. We had a 7:45 reservation and did not receive our drinks until an hour into dinner with our food coming after 9:00. The food was pretty good. I had a crab cake which was delicious until I got to the inside which was raw. :( I definitely expected more from Chart House, another couple sitting near us left after an hour and not receiving their food.

   Service was awful short staffed long wait over priced not worth the quality. The only thing we liked were the appetizers ribeye was tasteless. Swordfish was over cooked shrimp with stuffed crab was very small portion.  Very sad because this used to be one of the jewels of old town on the water .

   Views great. But bring a sack lunch :) Server was probably new but so not good. Food was marginal at best. We had 8 meals at our table but not super great.

   The location, decor, view from our table of the water, and ambience were excellent . Ordered the signature lobster and shrimp carbonara and it was just ok.

   Dined as a family of three to celebrate the 60th birthday for my husband. The service was exceptional thanks to Eric. The food was the perfect temperature. The presentation was great and of course the atmosphere and scenery was wonderful.

   You're really paying for the location and view here. The menu is a bit disorganized and honestly pretty dated. I had grilled swordfish, which itself was decent; the accompanying vegetable orzo was overcooked and the vegetables were unevenly cut and cooked - soggy zucchini and barely cooked onions. The side of steamed asparagus we ordered hadn't even been trimmed and was swimming in a pool of butter.

   Our entire party had very tasty food. Excellently prepared. Table overlooking the river.
