Everything was great except for service. We waited over an hour for our food, with 3 kids. They tried to clean the glasses off the table when I really needed water since there was nothing to eat for so long. I have to say this terrible service really ruined my birthday.

The food was excellently prepared and the service was fast and attentive.

I dined there with my family for Father's Day. The food was delicious, but I didn't like that it all came at once (drinks, appetizer to share and main meals). I prefer a slower pace where the drinks come first, then the appetizer, then the meals. Apart from that, very pretty location, great view, delicious food.

Not what I was looking for. The food was ok but the Caso was very stringy.

The atmosphere is very authentic and brings me back to my vacation in Mexico.

This is a fun restaurant with delicious cocktails and Mexican food. Hostesses, servers, and bartender were all professional and very friendly. Service is quick. The views of Manhattan are spectacular and there is a view from every table and bar (2 floors and a small bar on each floor). They have some outdoor seating which looks great but it did not look like it could accommodate larger parties. But there is the beautiful view from anywhere inside the restaurant as well. We loved everything: guacamole, taquitos, enchiladas, melted queso dip, spicy ginger margarita was fantastic. I would definilty go back to Weehawkem location. I have not been to any of the other locations. The will valet your car for $4.

Everything was great! The food and service were on point. Our dinner guests do not get the opportunity to dine with a city view as often as we do, since they do not live near this area, so I requested a table by the window in the special requests section. When we first arrived we were seated opposite of the window, due to how busy the restaurant was. However, the host quickly arranged for window seating to be set up for us as soon as another party left and we were transferred over right away. While we were not upset or urgent of the request, I appreciate their importance to it and was pleased with the end result. It was a clear night sky with a perfect view to NYC. Must order: The Guacamole, it's amazing and made fresh at your table. Preferred Entrée: Sabor Azteca, which brings a little bit of everything.

This was a great place. We dined here for a business meeting. Lunch time seems to be a little more laid back and quiet. This was perfect for us since we had a lot of business to talk about. The food was great and so was the service

We have been to Charritos Weehawkin multiple times and have never been disappointed! And the view is amazing!

We've been dining at Charritos for years now. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the food is always terrific (especially the fresh guacamole!) the prices are reasonable and the view of the New York City skyline is unmatched! Buen provecho!

Had an early dinner with friends on Sunday - food and service was very good, and view was great. Valet parking convenient since parking can be a challenge in Weehawken. Reasonably priced Mexican food - guacamole made to your order fresh at your table. Shrimp enchiladas were very good. Others in our party had pork quesadillas and garlic shrimp - both also enjoyed. Would definitely go back - especially when weather is warmer in the spring so can enjoy sitting outdoors.

Great location with amazing views of NYC. We went for dinner in the winter so there wasn't outdoor seating but we could will go out on the patio to take some great pictures. The food was great. Almost everyone in our party had tacos and everyone enjoyed them. The service was friendly and quick! We will definitely be back in the warmer months to take advantage of their patio.

Server was great and seated us upstairs near the window as we had asked. The vegan options are limited. Great guacamole. A great spot for a lively night out.

Just not a good value. Music too loud. Lots of staff, but we were totaly ignored unless we flagged somebody down. The view is what you go for, but there are better choices

Nice location with scenic views. The food was excellent. There was a large variety of options on the menu. Ordered and shared 6 different plates and everything was tasty. Drinks were ok, ordered white and red sangria. Valet parking is a plus, and fairly priced as well. Only 2 small cons: Service did feel rushed and seating layout was a bit tight. Overall a great time, would highly recommend!

Spectacular view, average food.
The servers were friendly and attentive; however, they will not seat your party until every member is present. I can somewhat understand that policy on the weekends, but when the majority of the tables are open, and all but one person from your party has arrived; its a bit absurd.

The best thing about Charritos is by far the view. It could be a pleasant neighborhood restaurant but it insists on rules that serve only to irritate their customers. For example, no burritos on weekends, no same day reservations (any day of the week even if they are empty), they block open table reservations at 7 pm, will not allow you to hold a sauce on a food, etc. Their food is not the height of culinary achievement where holding a sauce alters the chefs genius. Please focus on pleasing your customers instead of vexing them.

I asked for Red Sangria and it was the only thing I didn't like. Didn't taste good at all.

I things the food was a bit diferentes from the inevitable Hoboken. The poca locación and space is great. Services too. The cola miX the music. Not o no y mexican. My food was a little dry. Guacamole and margarita good.

Loved this place - food was great and so was the service. Great view of NYC! Only thing we didn't care for was the desserts.

Food was very good, guacamole was delicious !! Service was fantastic ! Everything came out in a timely manner but we were not rushed at all. We sat outside and it was a perfect sky with beautiful views of the city as the sun went down . We splurged and had dessert since we were celebrating a BD and the Crepes were deeeeelish !

Incredible FOOD/Drinks and Excellent Service! Very accommodating staff (as we had last minute additions to our reservation and we were on a schedule to make a show in the city) ...and still - it was handled perfectly and with ease! Everything was fantastic and we will be back! Thank you so much! :)

Charrito's is a neighborhood gem. The place is lovely, the staff is friendly, the prices are very reasonable, the views are spectacular, the food is delicious, the guacamole is custom-made at your table, and the Margaritas are to die for.

This was my first time at Charrito's of Weehawken and it was wonderful. We opted to sit outside (we had to wait for a table) because it was such a beautiful evening. It was definitely worth the wait. We saw the sun set on the Hudson River and watched the lights twinkle in the NYC skyline. Our waitress was sweet and professional and the food was delicious. The margaritas were great too, although a bit pricey since they were small ($11). Overall, I would definitely go back!

Amazing view

This has to be my favorite Mexican restaurant. The guacamole made table side is fantastic. All the food is great, never had a bad meal or anyone else I've dined with. The staff is very friendly. Great views, can't wait to try it once the weather gets better and we can sit outside.

So me & my girlfriend went there for brunch, when we arrived I saw plenty of parking space on their car park, when I was about to park a valet guy came towards me saying sorry you can't park here for free otherwise you will have to pay $5 on opentable it doesn't say about that! Restaurant wasn't even that busy but everyone was running around maybe because they are all confused! Yes I asked for table with window view which they gave me thank you. Everyone wants to take my order! Nothing such as waiter or busser. It was really cold inside, they are heat was off even tho it was -3 outside. chairs wasn't comfortable. Table is too small! When I asked one of the waiter if I can get a one of entree with chicken instead of pork they denied even tho it's available after 3PM when I asked it was 2PM overall this restaurant sucks! They need to improve a lot.
