Cold steak. Slow service. Did not compare to the Charlie Palmers in Napa.
Food was very good but ridiculously expensive. “One pound” of crab legs turned out to be 1 crab leg - and it was $65.
Food was delicious and so was the service. Definitely recommend
Very nice meal except for the cigarette smoke. Excellent service. I had the fresh halibut special and my husband had the hanger steak. We were eating before a show/concert. The smoke from the surrounding areas was terrible.
the beet salad was obviously premade, and stored in the refrigerator. the beets were VERY cold and there was liquid on the bottom of the plate. the tuna poke was very fishy and bland. needed flavor and texture. the daily special halibut was the best dish we had and quite well cooked. but the bok choy underneath was bland and presented poorly. overall, we believe that the restaurant thought it was better than it actually was-
Pork chop very dry
The filet was one of the best I've ever had. I dont always pay $50 for 10oz of steak, but when I do, it better be that good (and it was).
A very small portion of cioppino. Watery sauce. I would recommend The Fish Market for a larger, more authentic cioppino.
I think it is the best steakhouse in Reno, but it's tough to justify going more than once a year because the prices are crazy high; but you do pay for quality. Service is phenomenal and food is too.
Dinner for 3, no appetizers, 1 glass wine, 1 shared dessert, $240 plus tip. Filet mignon's were excellent, perfectly cooked! Dessert was delicious! Service was excellent! Salads were crispy but dressing bitter. Side vegetables overcooked & overwhelmed wth shallots and garlic, couldn't taste the vegetable. An odd selction of and a small number of side dishes to choose from. Our first visit, expected more from this caliber restaurant and for the money spent, a lot to just enjoy the steak. hc
We love the Steakhouse, and on top of it we met our previous waiter, Brian. He is Great and seeing him again just made our day. He already knew our needs for the seafood! Very good wine selections, one can tell that you have put a lot of good effort into creating the wine lists. Overall, fantastic experience.
The service was Great the Server was awesome and the food was excellent
i believe the quality doesnt match the price. The service was excellent but there are better steak houses in Reno that are less expensive
was not our first time there the food was outstanding service was not so good if I wanted to know the price of items I can read don't need waiter telling about the food with prices at the end, how rude
The food was great but I felt like I was at a Chili's or another casino resturant...it was not very elegant and was very loud!
Dinner was amazing! Great food and Service. I do prefer the cookies at the end over the coffee cake but a very nice gesture to offer complimentary goodies to take home with you.

Not as advertised. Went there on St. Patrick's Day for the advertised Irish Stew. It was nothing like the picture. The picture was a thick stew with large chunks of meat, carrots and potatoes. I received a dark brown, soupy, small bowl with just small chunks of meat. No discernible carrots or potato. It also came with Soda Bread, which was supposed to be hard on the outside. But this was rock solid, my husband and I could not even crack this Soda Bread open. We even banged it on the table and it didn't crack. My husband's steak was very good. I guess since it's a steak house we both should have stuck to that, but the advertisement looked so good. We're going to stick with Peppermill.
The service was phenomenal, food was mediocre. I was very disappointed with the menu. Its just meh.

Last time I ate at the steak house there it was Bally's Thank goodness the food, beverages, and atmosphere is as good or better.
The restaurant was very noisy
The decor was very much like a dressed up diner, no gluten free options for breads, prices were too high for the atmosphere and food quality.
We ordered the Chateaubriand it was so flavorful and tender cut like butter and melted in our mouth. The Ceasar Salad was also delicious! We enjoyed eating our anniversary dinner at this restaurant
The food, ambiance, and service is bland, low-quality FOOD COURT.
We ate dinner at Charlie Parker's and despite the $500 bill, ww were rushed through our 6:30pm dinner reservation, because the kitchen was too busy to serve us in time for the 9:00pm concert. It was turn and burn AWFUL. The cocktails, appetizer and wine all arrived at the same time. We sent the apps back and cancelled them, then had to manage the servers ourselves, letting them know when we ready for our bland main courses. We almost left, but the only other options at the casino are a California Pizza Kitchen and Starbucks. This is RENO NASTY. We might as well have been having $5.99 steak downtown.
And the only restrooms were down the hall and around the corner through the smoke-filled nasty casino. Disgusting. We didn't have time to finish our $200 bottle of wine, so we had it corked and bagged to take with us, only to be turned away at the concert doors and told that we couldn't carry it into the venue with us. So again we had to RUN back to our room with the bag, then back to the the venue line again, barely making it in time for the 9:30pm start time.
Our server Angelina and her helper were outstanding. The meal, the help, the place is wonderful.
Took over 45 mins meal to come out but was cooked perfect.

This was our second visit to Charlie Palmer. It was just as amazing as our first experience. Beyond excellent food, service is impeccable and the ambiance is just right.

Nice atmosphere and upscale appointments. Wait servers were exceptional and attentive. Wine selection was very good as well. We enjoyed the quality Beef selections available. Please bring back the tomahawk steak!
The presentation and atmosphere could use some improvement for the price
Ordered the prime ribs eye and I chewed for days. The steak was not cooked as it should have been and it was too chewy! Not worth the price and disappointing for a steakhouse.
Everything was pretty good, but the food. The chicken was bland, no flavor at all. It might just be the chef for the night, because last time I went the food was so phenomenal and on point! I’ll give it another try though!
The food was good but I felt the value just wasn’t there. I ordered a $48 steak and the plate showed up with just a piece of meat.

This was my second time taking my fiancé out to a Charlie Palmer’s Steak House. The food was great, but the service was good, but not as good as it was the first time which was disappointing.
