The food and service was wonderful. I ordered the king salmon and my husband ordered the filet mignon.
The food definitely wasn’t worth the price. It was just ok. We have eaten at this restaurant in the past and feel like it’s not as good as it once was. I probably wouldn’t eat there again.
Excellent food. We split a filet and prawn dinner and added side dishes. We had plenty of food and excellent service.
Went there for birthday celebration dinner- delicious. Great steak!
Very bright and loud for a steakhouse, server was very unprofessional she did not know about your wine selection, 30 mins into our meal and still had no wine. Food came out cold. Finally gave up on the wine, never got it. I would definitely not go back...
Very over priced for the quality and quantity of food. You could get a similar meal at Texas Roadhouse for half the price and same or better quality of food. It’s in a casino so they feel it’s ok to charge outrageous amount for mediocre food. My filet was dry and had little flavor. The scallops were still cold in the center when served. Skip this place for sure.
Ordered 3 steaks medium rare and they were extra rare. The scampi was basically 3 beautiful shrimp doused withyellow mayonnaise. Gross. $300- not worth it.
Porterhouse Steak with side dishes.
Everything was on point. Julian was a great waiter.
a very good experience the service was fantastic
It was difficult to call and reserve more than four people. When we arrived we were accommodated well except for options for children. The bread was amazing and water service excellent. The Easter Pea risotto lacked flavor the cioppino was good yet spicy. Although the fillet was delicious the size for the price was not equal. At the beginning service was quick at the end our server forgot about us.
Waiter was excellent. He was on top of things, polite, professional. provided great customer service. As always the food was very good. They provided a free desert for my wife's birthday.
He informed us a special that they run for locals that we did not know about.
My wife and I took advantage of one of the "secret offers for locals" to celebrate my birthday on Sunday, April 4. Everything went very well; the service was prompt and the servers were very courteous and helpful; the food was plenteous and tasty; and the overall value for the money was better than I expected it to be. Would have no hesitation to recommend to a friend or neighbor.
Sunday Easter Brunch in a smaller venue. Menu was 3 courses with a choice required for both the first course and second course. Our group of 4 enjoyed shrimp cocktails, a wedge salad and a cobb salad for the first course...NY steak and eggs, eggs benedict, chicken/waffles and a power bowl for the second course. All of us enjoyed a pair of small cakes (chocolate and strawberry shortcake) for dessert. On top of all this, bottomless (almost) mimosas were included. Portions were generous and very tasty. A bit noisy but would certainly recommend going again, especially on a less busy day.
Great experience! Great atmosphere and most importantly great food.
Charlie Palmer Steak - Reno is excellent for dinner service. The Brunch offering for Easter was fair at best. My dining partner's omelet was good. That's where it stopped. The server we had got my order wrong. I wanted Eggs Benedict with crab, and I have no idea what they brought to the table. It looked like pork belly that was undercooked and hard as a rock cold. When my correct dish returned, it too was cold, the fake crab tasteless and the English muffin was so tough I couldn't slice through it. The Hollandaise sauce was flavorless and none existent. When I asked for extra, it was cold.
Too much time on the pass and someone not reading the tickets only means that Charlie needs to stick to what they know - DINNER! If the organization needs to add extra seatings to make up for the loss revenue, then make sure the food reflects some sort of quality.
This was their first ever brunch and there are a few kinks for them to work out. Food was good but not amazing. Our server was awesome and welcomed all feedback, but it was a little slower going and there was limited info on the menu items as everything was so new to the staff. Will wait to go back to see if they improve on their menu and service.
Food, family and fun. The whole experience was great from the greeter through to payment of our bill. I would highly recommend this location to everyone.
one of the best steakhouses in reno and i been to them all.
It was my birthday and we decided to celebrate and have dinner!!! Let me tell you they were amazing!!! Our server went out of his way to make me feel special and enjoy my dinner!!! Highly recommended
Always an exceptional meal...
Wait staff is some of the best anywhere!
Best steaks I have ever had and I have had many many many great ones.
Honestly never had bad, mediocre or "just ok" meal, always amazing with the best service.
The food is good enough, the ambience not so much. It is Reno personified...Meh! But it is expensive sooo... there is that. Go somewhere else if you can it is not worth the money.
Peace out!
The service is always good. They didn't have our first choice of wine, so we went with another. I ordered the steak medium, it was cooked medium but I would have liked it just a little less done. We ordered a porterhouse for 2, it wasn't on the menu but we asked and our server was kind enough to check availability get it for us.
Great food! Host was extremely friendly! Steaks were cooked perfectly. Loved the mushroom side. Compliments to the chef!
Sent the wafting scent of old scallops back to the chef. Chose a Caesar salad as replacement.
Ribeye steak was riddled with gristle, sinew and fat. Very poor cut of meat should not have been served.
Truffle oil of the twice-baked potato completely overwhelmed the dish.
Great service and the desserts were outstanding. Will definitely be back soon!
Great service. Great selection. Great food. Terrific waiter - Loren.
Was not impressed with the overall experience. Waiter had zero personality never came back to ask if we wanted desert or anything else. Had to ask another server for our check. It reminded me of a glorified coffee shop. Will not return
Always exceptional service!
Steaks were perfectly cooked. Our server, Julian hit it out of the park, making my kids smile.
The dry aged 16oz ribeye is one of the most tasty and tender steaks 🥩 I have ever head. The sides are all delicious. Great Place to Dine I fully recommend the experience.
We ordered a $78 bottle of wine. The waiter brought out a $135 bottle, and with his mask on, we couldn’t hear him mumbling. We drank the bottle so we paid for it. But definitely felt like a bait and switch as we couldn’t make out what he was saying very clearly. We had reservations here Friday and Saturday night. We canceled our Saturday night reservation and spent our gambling money at a different casino, as well as all meals for the rest of the weekend.
As for the food, it was just above average so definitely not worth the price paid. There are a tone of better choices in food, service, and honesty. Go somewhere else if you can.
A friend recommended this spot for my anniversary dinner. When I reserved the table it asked what the occasion was and I did select it’s for an anniversary. I thought they asked this so they can prepare something small and special for guests celebrating a special occasion. To my disappointment, there was not even an acknowledgment of our anniversary. Service was ok, I feel our host was assigned too many tables so he had his hands full trying to service a lot of people so he was not as personable or cheerful. The food was great.
The server acted as if it was his first night there. My husband ordered the pork chop special and my friend and I ordered the steak special. Keep in mind there are only two specials. All three of us were served the steak special. My husband went ahead and accepted it and then later the server said he would reverse the charge which was nice. The steak was really good & the side dishes of macaroni and cheese and mushrooms were both pretty tasteless. The wine was cheap wine. it wasn’t terrible but definitely wasn’t something that should be served in the steakhouse. Overall, it was a good value but could use improvement.
Excellent food, great service, fair price, nice ambience
We love Charlie Palmer Steak house. We had the special and found the pork to be a bit dry for our taste. The pistachio dessert was bland.
The service is always great and we love the atmosphere. I was just an off night but we will definitely be back.
We had a very pleasant experience! Our waiter was very helpful. Copeland?!
Server was really respectful and service in general was very fast, food was excellent
Well the next day I went to claim jumper and it was a day and night difference the steak I got was raw but I thought since it’s a expensive place it’s supposed to be like that the outside crust was hard to cut through and the sides were okay for the price I thought it would be good outback it better.
Food was dropped, and I mean dropped, off by assistant staff. No one checked to see how meal was. Very overpriced. Don't think we'll go back
Excellent service & attentive wait staff. Food was delicious but undercooked.
