Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”. Charley’s has been creating fans from around the world for nearly 40 years. We look forward to having you become a fan soon!

Took my girlfriend to Charley's for her birthday. Made the reservations on OpenTable which is always excellent. We were seated promptly and there was even a birthday card waiting on our table. Fish, our server was excellent- he explained everything we asked about. The food was spectacular, the atmosphere outstanding and the experience perfect. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back to Charley's in the near future.

Best bison ribeye ever! Big enough for 2 people to share. Crab fried rice excellent, as well as lobster mac 'n cheese. Bartenders were quick and poured a good drink. David, our waiter, was very helpful and service was consistent throughout the meal. Would love to go back next week.

I MUST SAY I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH MY EXPERIENCE AT CHARLEY'S. THIS WAS OUR SECOND TRIP TO TAMPA AND WE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO FINE DINING. THE FOOD WAS JUST AVERAGE AT BEST AND THE SERVICE MADE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WERE BEING SOLD SOMETHING FROM START TO FINISH. I ORDERED THE BONE IN RIBEYE, AND IT WAS TUFF AND FULL OF GRISTLE. MY WIFE ORDERED THE FILLET MED/RARE AND IT CAME OVER COOKED. THEY REPLACED IT WITH ANOTHER COOKED APPROPRIATELY, BUT I WAS FINISHED EATING. WE WENT TO BERN'S STEAKHOUSE ON OUR FIRST TRIP TO TAMPA AND COULD NOT HAVE HAD A BETTER EXPERIENCE. THE PRICE POINT IS ABOUT THE SAME, I GUESS I WAS EXPECTING THE SAME FROM CHARLEY'S

I felt that the server sounded like a car salesman. I understand that there is alot to go through but I felt that there was a lack of authenticity albeit he was very informative and knowledgeable which we appreciate but it sounded like a business pitch more than a restaurant dialogue.

We were first time patrons of Charley's last week. A warm atmosphere greeted us. The Maitre d' was not the friendliest, but our waiter, Bob, made up for it. He was gregarious, warm & funny. Food and wine were outstanding, but very pricey. Would not go here on a regular basis. Sadly, our booth was VERY uncomfortable. It made us lean forward, it was lumpy, and the seat itself was too short and hit us about mid-thigh. I couldn't wait to get out of the seat. I would not go with a party of more than 4 - you won't be able to hear each other. Again, food was outstanding.

We were sat in a 2 person booth. The seating was low with a straight up back. Worse than a church pew. We were visiting from out of town and were returning guests. Disappointed in the food this time around. Had ribeyes. My husband sent his back because it was under cooked. The manager did come by and apologize. The service was to notch.
