Really high hopes for this Charley's location, however the service forgot our steak order. It took over 75 minutes to receive our food and when we finally cut into the steak they we're not hot. Super disappointed!
The food was great but it took two tries to get the steaks correctly grilled. Should have been alerted to the upcharge for a Caeser salad. Nevertheless, great steaks and excellent wines. Might be best to avoid weekends when big groups can overload the kitchen.
Went there with friends to celebrate our daughters birthday. Waiter was not attentive in any way. Brought out the steaks to show us what they had to offer and a couple sat down next to us so he told us to wait so he could wait on them. Seriously! Also had to ask 3 separate times to have our water refilled just once. Don’t plan on returning here any time soon.
I’m in Orlando 1 or 2 times a year and never miss an opportunity to go to Charlie’s great food and great service. You can not find a better steak anywhere. The bison ribeye was absolutely awesome.
Excellent food, service and pace!
Had a great time as usual! Food and service was great.
The food was delicious. Service was exceptional. Can't wait to go back.
Food overpriced for the quality. Dated dining room.
Charley's Steak House and Seafood Grille is an upscale steakhouse with excellent service and food. With drinks plan to pay at least $50 a person but it is well worth it for the quality of food, service and ambiance. We had two steak eaters and two seafood diners and everyone was satisfied with their meals.
It was wonderful, good amazing, it was just 2 of us, once it got crowded with larger tables we ended up waiting longer for drinks etc
Attentive service and nice mix of steak and seafood. We had a business party of 10
My only problem was that I ate too much! I ordered the Mushroom Fondue as an appetizer, the Mixed Seafood Grill and Fried Green Tomatoes. The appetizer was great, but filing. The mixed grill was yummy. But that's all I could do! They serve fairly large portions. Keep that in mind when ordering. I'll be back, if I am ever in the area again. Not sure if this is routine, but we were served a special little "amuse bouche" for making our reservation online. It was an appetizer spoon full of marsala meatballs. Not something I would typically order. But it was good. It was a nice treat.
Food was cold and service was rushed. Received our entrees before our salad.
Great steaks cooked perfectly every time, have a bone in ribeye "Pittsburgh" style
We had a great experience overall. Daryl, our waiter, was on top of everything and our food was outstanding. A little expensive for a family, but you get what you pay for.
We got sat an hour after our reservation. Service overall was very slow as well. 3 hour meal was ridiculous. The food was awesome. It’s a shame we had to wait so long.
Wonderful meal. Great steaks. Waitress was fabulous.
We were a family group of 8 celebrating a Birthday and asked for a "quite" table. We were placed at the very last table of the restaurant, facing a kitchen, where all (or at least a couple of) the servers picked up the food, deposited their trays with dirty glasses and garbage, and where they placed 2 groups of 8 men each. The noise level was outrageous. We couldn't understand our server because of the noise. The many servers walking by at our table all the time to pick up food / drinks were just annoying. The view for 4 of us was disgusting, Most of the food was delicious, but overall we are VERY disappointed and none of us will return into this restaurant.
Thats not where you place people asking for a quite table at all!!!
This was our 6th visit ov er the las few years, this time the atmosphere was bad the service slow and the food average, we had a drink on arrival and we had to ask for some wine as nobody asked us, the wine came half way through our main course and was not chilled, the steak I had was blue in the middle and tough but I asked for medium rare my wife’s was well done and she ordered the same, I think for 1 appertizer 2 mains and a glass of wine $200 is a lot for this standard, will not use again the boathouse a Disney springs is for superior.
Great server, and food was on point. Very knowledgeable about the cuts of meet
Wonderful dinner for the last night of our vacation. Service was swift. Food was incredible. Steak was wonderful and the baked cauliflower was to die for. Wine was excellent, good value for the money. Portions are large, we ordered two dinners for three people and still had food left over - and that was without an appetizer. Food was very helpfully divided in 3 for every course.
We will definitely go again if there is a Charley's anywhere we are - definitely was the best meal of our holidays. We ate in a number of restaurants, most less expensive but some more, and this definitely was the best of the lot. Unfortunately we did not have space for dinner, although the options looked great.
Love the wine related decor.
Made a reservation for 7:30. We were not seated until 8:05 and that's AFTER asking the hostess. The waiter had to many tables and we had to ask the area supervisor to refill our bvgs. I love Charleys but this one is not good.
Way over priced and the food wasn’t anything special, I could grill a steak better on my grill that cost less then the whole bill at the restaurant
While the food was very good, the service was not. We were greeted by a waiter who went on for approximately 10 minutes about his favorite cut of meat and then from there, it’s like our table didn’t exist. There were larger parties seated around us that received a lot of attention and we were ignored. They brought us over the dessert tray and left it for 20 minutes before we had to just flag them down for the check (we would have ordered dessert if someone had come back to take our order). Overall, for the price, the service makes this place not worth the trip.
The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. It was a little pricey, but well worth it!
Excellent Dinner, great food and service. Highly recommended.
We look forward to Charley’s whenever we are in Orlando or Tampa areas. Food and service always consistently excellent.
Always exceptional! Fabio the Manager is a pleasure to speak with and he always checks to know that everyone is happy with their food and cocktails.
One in party, steak was not good. Told server I felt half hearty apology. Individual with no so good steak didn’t want to make big deal.
Just tell the whole experience in value for money was overrated
We had been to the International Drive location many times before. The atmosphere of that location is a little bit better but the food quality between the two locations is identical. Great!
We had a group of 6 and literally ordered a little bit of everything. I had the Bison Ribeye and it was fantastic. Everyone had a great time and a great meal.
Best steak I’ve had in my 61 years of life!
Nice place but nothing distinct. If I’m in town again I’d try something else.
My husband & I were staying at a resort near Disney World and when the taxi drove us from the airport to our resort on our first day we noticed “Charley’s Steak House” and decided to eat dinner there after we got settled & unpacked.
We looked at the menu and everything looked delicious, so we went over there for dinner. We were greeted warmly and shown to our booth (we requested a booth).
Brendon gave us Excellent service from start to finish. You could tell he really enjoyed his job! When he described the various dishes, he got us excited about what was to come.
We are from California, so when we saw “Gator Bites” listed as an appetizer, we had to try it. Yum!
Everything was delicious from the bread (oh so good) to the super fresh salad dressing to our entrees.
Ok, now about the entrees....Brendon gave us a presentation of the Beef & Bison choices and details about each one.
Charley’s has a very high ranking for steak houses in the USA, so you should definitely eat here if you are in the area.
I went with Brendon’s recommendations and tried something I have never had before and it was absolutely scrumptious!
I had the Wagyu Ribeye with truffle butter (Wow!) and my husband had the Bison Ribeye (Yum!).
We also ordered Au Gratin & the Lobster Mac’n Cheese.
Everything was delicious, but we were ambitious with the quantity of food, so we had lots of leftovers that reheated very well.
The dessert tray looked amazing, so we took the Salted Caramel Cheesecake “to go” for later. The graham cracker crust had ground up Macadamia nuts in it and was delectable!
Since we are not from this area, we went to this restaurant because it was close to our resort and we wanted dinner, but we had no idea what a gem it would be!
If you want a mouth watering meal with exceptional service, go to Charley’s!!
Our golf foursome dined there on a Friday night, and had a great experience. Our steaks were quality and cooked to perfection. Our server Brendan, was attentive and engaging and added to the overall service. One of our group, a quintessential foodie, called the Wagyu the best steak he’s ever had.
Great food, especially the scallops and steak. Service was excellent, served by Matt who was very attentive and gave great advice on the wine menu
I got the Wagyu steak for 75$. It was not great, I've had many Wagyu and Kobe steaks and this was not great, otherwise the sides and my wife's Filet were good.
The service, that was the worst and the reason the meal wasn't that great. Other tables got a server to show a steak platter to the table and explain etc. This didn't happen for us. The waitress asked me if I knew what a Wagyu steak was and I said yes I've had many. She said, oh okay because these steaks are very grissly.
I wouldn't go to this place again if it was half the price. Overall horrible birthday dinner for me , this is why I'm writing because I never do but this was my 40th and this place ruined the dinner part.
Delicious. Everything from steak to sides to wine selection was great.
Steak was cooked to perfection. We also had the Cesar Salad and the Dressing is Just plain delicious. The Dressing has Garlic so be prepaired but it is GREAT.
On arrival they did not have our open table reservation. Ihad to show it to her on my phone. We waited 15 minutes for table then, and our waiter saw us to order drinks, then dinner, and check with nothing in between including refills etc.. The mixed grill, and the BONE IN FILET WAS GOOD. The ribeye however had no flavor.
