Charley's Steak House and Seafood Grille - Kissimmee, FL
Great experience! Everything we had was amazing. Omg the fried portabellas are such a treat. Even if you don’t like mushrooms. We tried the lobster tail, filet mignon (with a lump crab topping) and the lamb chops. Yummy!! You won’t be disappointed. It’s pricey, yes, but sooo worth it.
It was amazing. Easy to set up for my fiancé’s birthday..... great service from our waiter Christian. The food was also top notch in taste and presentation. Overall great experience!!!
Service was outstanding! Food was cooked to perfection. A little disappointed in shrimp cocktail portion size, but still enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend and return!
Chad was fantastic! Thank you so so much! The food was amazing :) the restaurant can use some updating/fine tuning such as the lights over each table as they remind me of a Pizza Hut restaurant. Food and service was a great
Alicia was a delight!
Traveled from Jacksonville to celebrate my husband's birthday because he generally loves eating here. This wasn't our first time dining at Charley's but our first disappointment.
Our pork chops were ordered med well but were definitely well done. Our chicken breast were over cooked and dried out. I had to request some vinaigrette to moisten it up.
I'm always Leary about sending food back when it's not done well for fear that someone will mess with it. Besides if I'm coming out wanting to enjoy a good expensive meal, it should definitely be done perfectly the first time.
Superb dinner for my husbands birthday, lovely table ambiance and delicious food . We hope to return soon !
It was an okay experience. The server went above and beyond for sure and was amazing tonight to our party of 7. If you have been to capital grille before you know that this food wasn’t half as good and a filet mignon cooked medium or medium well at capital grille is just way juicer. The steak itself wasn’t very good and for their medium Wells they charcoal burn the outside versus other steak houses. I would highly suggest Capital Grille instead for food.
Best steak ever. Worth every penny you pay for. I highly recommend it.
One of the best eating experiences we have ever had. Waiter was absolutely amazing and food was top notch. Would definitely recomend to others, even as a once in a lifetime splurge.
Fantastic experience. Service was above and beyond! Food and drinks delicious. Can’t wait to come back when back in town
I have travelled extensively and always like to try new restaurants. Charley's was recommended by a concierge at a resort we were staying at a couple of years ago. We try to go here at least once every time we get to Orlando. Love the food, the service, and the ambience.
1st visit to Charley's and it did not disappoint! Our server, Victor, was great and the food was all outstanding.
You can go casual. There were people dressed nice and then others in shorts n tshirt. But overall the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
They first sat our group of four women in between two families with young kids who were running around bumping into our chairs - the restaurant was empty with plenty of other available tables. We requested to move and our waiter recommended two appetizers: jumbo shrimp cocktail and the portabello mushroom fondue. The mushrooms were cold and the fondue was not melted- we sent this app back, it was terrible. The shrimp app only included three shrimp and they were chewy. We split a large steak, cooked medium. Before showing us the steak our waiter proceeded to cut it into four pieces. The steak was still very rare so we had to send it back where they cooked the already cut pieces more. We also ordered lobster tails at $24/piece that were over-cooked, tough, and chewy. Once our waiter realized we were unhappy, he avoided us for the rest of our dinner. When he brought the bill, they hadn’t even taken off the mushroom appetizer we sent back. We spoke with a manager and they did adjust our bill fairly, but very disappointing for what was supposed to be our one nice dinner for my sister’s birthday. Bad food and subpar service- we had planned to go out afterwards, but all had terrible stomach aches. Save your money and stomach!
Expensive but food was outstanding. Selection of steaks was excellent with different sides available. Server was not as attentive as previous visits, but was acceptable. Cost was in line with top steakhouses.
Everything we ordered tasted and was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very friendly and insanely knowledgable with the menu she made choosing our dinner and wine selection very easy. I highly recomend the dry aged Rib Eye the taste of the dry age was amazing. Mouth is watering just writing this review. I will definitely be back to try the Bison!
Due to high ratings, we had always wanted to visit Charley's in past visits, but we never had time. This visit was a special celebration with family and it was well worth it. Our server was superb. He is the youngest captain on staff and his age has no connection to his professionalism nor knowledge. He and his staff were very attentive and even anticipated our needs. The menu items for gluten and dairy sensitivities can leave one with very limited options, so if that is a concern, be aware. Our server was very knowledgeable though and helped us manage our daughter's selections. The Wagyu beef, filet, and seafood choices were superb (tender, no gristle) and the cauliflower is a must!
Fabulous meal and the best service ever. We were so lucky to have Brandon as our waiter and he truly made our visit fantastic
Very expensive, but the quality and service is excellent. Great for a special occasion.
Our meal was wonderful. Very pricey but so delicious. We will return.
Good Service and good food! We had a great time and our server (Jay) took care of us!
Steaks were wonderful, a bit overpriced for the atmosphere, but all in all we'd go back again.
Steak was under cooked and then over cooked, Manager brought a burnt steak back out to table, very dry, other steak has no flavor.
Food and service was outstanding, we had a great time. We had a range of food, steak, fish and shrimp and everything was great. Th manager was out and checking in with guests, every employee we encountered was very pleasant and eager to make our visit the best. I would highly recommend it.
I had eaten at a charly's about 20 years ago, on a business trip to Orlando. I remembered it as a very good resaurant.. We were playing golf in the area, and saw the restaurant. we made reservations for that night, and were extremely happy with the whole experience. Our server, Jay, was outstanding and on the spot all evening. Although this is a moderately pricy restaurant, it is worth every penny. It will not be long before we return...
We had our 1 year Anniversary dinner at Charley’s and it was absolutely fantastic. I called the week before and was planning to propose. They made me feel relaxed in what could have been a stressful moment. From the front to our waiter, Miguel, the service was top notch. The food was amazing! I had the 16 oz bone in Filet and she has the seafood plate with Salmon, Grouper, Scallops and Shrimp. We split the roasted cauliflower, which was the most amazing side I have ever had! Miguel was in on the proposal from the start and assisted me in making the most amazing night of our lives. If you haven’t been to Charley’s, please do not wait! Try the smoked bourbon old fashioned and you will not be sorry! Thank you Miguel for the amazing service! We both hugged him before we left. We were both moved by this experience!
Charley’s steakhouse is amazing! The wait staff are friendly and know the menu items well. The food was cooked to perfection! I can’t wait to be back in area to have a delicious meal there again.
Suggest for a steakhouse that having steak of some sort on the kids menu would make sense. Price for a family of 5 means while excellent food I will never return as a family, at least not untill my kids can treat me 😁
It was awesome the staff was friendly and helpful , the waitress was extremely nice and explained everything on the menu. She did rush and made sure we was happy and satisfied
This restaurant delivers an unbelievably high consistency of service and food. A formula not easily achieved or maintained... well done
Honestly we was pretty disappointed by the food, service was great but steak was like lump of charcoal on out side. I had to cut outside layer off. My sons swordfish was dry and had no real flavor and had to ask for a sauce which we tried 2 different ones and neither was good. My wife and twins spent 300 bucks and that is one of my sons sharing other 3 food. So 100 bucks a plate for frankly less then Outback quality food. If this is the best FL has to offer for a steak house then I am glad I do not live here but would have a hard time believing this is the best they have to offer.
It was our first night on our vacation and it was absolutely wonderful all around! It’s a bit pricey but well worth it, definitely recommend.
Great service. Steaks outstanding.
I was here with my customers. Orlando was our head server and fantastic. The steaks are awesome and his recommendations for wine he was very good. We also had the seafood tower for appetizers and it was superb. Everyone enjoyed their meal including the desserts we all shared at the end.
Very disappointed the menu has switched and prices increase... again! 12 oz Tbone should have never been taken off the menu!
Absolutely delish as usual. We’re from Maine and we come here when we are on vacation. Always so good!!
