   Great experience as usual. Lauryn, our server was very friendly and did a solid job on a very busy evening. Food was great as expected. It was loud for Charleston's, but they were packed. Has been one of my wife and I's favorite restaurants for years. Never been disappointed.

   We went to Charleston on Mother's Day. There was a long line of people waiting to get a table. However, we made prior resversations through OpenTable and our group of four were promptly escorted to our table at the time of our reservation. Almost every table in the resturant was occupied. The resturant was prepared for a large crowd. We didn't experience any delay in service, and the quality of the food was outstanding.

   My food had no flavor. I ordered the shrimp scampi and my husband got the ribs. The ribs were tender but had no seasoning or flavor as well. The scampi needed salt or something. This use to be my favorite place but the foods just was not tasty today. And it was Mother’s Day. Won’t be going back for a while. The crescents were very good. The water was great.

    We visited on Mother’s Day, 2023. Our server Jenn was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the portions were large enough for us to have another meal later. We will definitely be back. 😊

    We had a nice mother's day celebration at Charleston's. Very good food, quiet so that my mom could hear easily. Only thing we missed is their delicious cheesecake but the brownie substituted nicely!

    It was my birthday and I was looking forward to the prime rib! Our reservations were for 3 and I selected standard dining instead of bar because our 13 yr old daughter would be with us, on the reservation. We arrived a couple minutes before 7 to a very crowded lobby. When we checked in, we were told they would have a table cleared and ready in a few minutes. Several parties were then seated in the dining area before us. 25 minutes later, I thought I heard them call my name. When I went up to the hostess stand, I was told they didn’t call my name but we’re up next. 5 min later, they called my name but then said, “the table we have available for you is in the bar and they see that won’t work so they’ll give us the next table in the dining area”. As we continued to wait, 3 additional parties were seated in the dining area. At 7:45, we were finally seated. Our waitress very very nice and attentive. We ordered the prime rib, medium rare. The outside parts were medium rare but the middle was unedible (less than rare)! However, we had eaten enough to be full so we’re not expecting anything. When they came to clear the plates, I let them know of the inconsistency in the rib. I was told, “that’s interesting, they just told us there’s nothing but medium well available now on the prime rib, crazy how it can go from rare to medium well in that short of time”. I showed her the remaining meat on the plate and she didn’t have any remarks at that point. She just said ok. I told her that we had enough to eat, and I wasn’t looking for any kind of reimbursement or anything, just wanted to let her know for a coaching experience. I don’t think it was a welcomed piece of advice for sure. Anyway, I could never eat a full meal by myself so my husband and I had split prime rib. And then my daughter got a fillet. The fillet was cooked medium well, even though she asked for medium. However, this turned out perfectly because she enjoyed the medium well.

    Sometimes the food here is better than at other times. The Michigan Road Charleston's is newer and, of course, has a different kitchen staff. Our appetizer (spinach dip) was good and the thin chips served with it are the best in the city. But our entrees were disappointing. The blackened fish was flat. The New England Chowder was pretty bland. We keep trying this location because it is closer to us than Michigan Road. Last night it just wasn't great. The service, however, was very good!

    The food was ok. We didn’t like the waiter. He was forgetting our drinks and brought the wrong ones. We wanted dessert but he didn’t even ask so we didn’t get any. Very disappointed.

    Service was excellent. Food was good but nothing special. Loved the fried okra, but the corned beef Reuben was dry and the catfish was “muddy” (not farm raised white flaky like at Cracker Barrel). It’s good for a pinch but not somewhere to go out of your way for.

    This was our first visit and it do not disappoint! The food tasted amazing and the service was excellent! I had the chicken bacon avocado club with fried okra. One of our daughters had the ribs that were so tender and fell right off the bone. Cheeseburgers were delicious and my husband ordered the BBQ burger and creamy spicy coke slaw!     Had to get the bread pudding as usual, but got to try the ribs for the first time. Pretty good, nice sauce, and a full rack split between me and my usual dining companion (my mother) still came home with us with one of the sides. Cozy, happy, pre-Easter buzz made a pleasant experience.

    Friendly greeting with prompt seating. Server was very professional and helpful in getting our order completed the first time. Food was tasty and as ordered. We will return. The only negative, we were seated in a corner booth with a large round table adjacent in the area. Getting in and out a challenge.
