Lunch all at once never disappoints! A great option for a quick but delicious lunch meeting.
Ford was very good. Server was outstanding. Our daughters birthday was being celebrated. Staff made her feel special. We can't tell you how much we appreciate the efforts they made. We really, really appreciate the outstanding service. Thank you!!!

The food came out cold and was sub par ...and to top it off, after we paid our bill(our bad for not looking), we were charged for items we didn’t even order!?
Was a very poor dinning experience all round.
For the price of the food, the quality was sub-par. My $50 steak was overcooked, dry and small. The sides to the steak were bland, and the brussel sprouts were overly salty. Even the wine (for $17 a glass) was mediocre at best. The service was good, but I would not eat here again - if I'm going to drop over $100 on dinner for two the food itself has to be much better.
The establishment looks nice enough but the menus were worn, torn, and dirty. The food was over priced for what it was. On top of that, we ordered a side of crackers for the meat charcuterie and were charged an extra $12, which I find excessive. Our server was amazing but it's not enough to bring us back.
This is my favourite restaurant but haven’t been for at least a year. Too loud. Food took 40 mins. Otherwise totally great
Never disappointed at CHARCUT. The lunch special is always my go too and has always been satisfied.
Great value for the express lunch
We took our younger step-son to Charcuts for his birthday. We've been to Charcuts before and have always enjoyed our meal there. This was no exception. The food came out promptly and excellent. Our step-son really enjoyed the food as well. He indicated if he were to go again, he'd get an appetizer - he has a bigger appetite than my husband or I. For dessert, a small candle was added to his dish. A nice gesture which just what he liked. He had beef brisket & my husband & I had the prime rib roast. For sides, we had the grilled brussel sprouts, the winter squash and duck fried fries. Dessert was the cheesecake for my husband & I while my step-son had the salted caramel. All excellent.
Server was fantastic! And the food, as always was exceptional!!

The food was excellent! the lunch specials never disappoint and so affordable! the potato and bacon soup was out of this world and they even brought dessert (for free) to my coworker since we were celebrating his birthday that day. The amazing chef DeSousa passed by our table to ensure the food was good and it really elevated the whole experience for the 5 of us...we will come back for sure!
I am here every couple of weeks for business lunches and everything is amazing. I am a vegetarian and so were a couple other guests and they are always very accommodating.
Arrived at 9:00pm with a group of 15. Waitress let us know she was not expecting us....
We went in at around 6:30pm and it was fairly quiet when we arrived. We were given a very small table and asked if we could have a slightly larger table but were told it was not possible. We ordered a Charcuterie Plate as a starter and then a Butcher Steak to share and a Smoke Baked Potato and Brussel Sprouts as our sides.
We ordered a couple of drinks (martini and a Manhattan) and both very a bit disappointing ... neither one was made in the traditional sense (ordered a reg Bourbon Manhattan and a classic vodka martini with a couple olives). The Manhattan was very sweet and not drinkable and the vodka martini was very strong and burnt sort of as if maybe no vermouth was added to it. The olives were old and a bit shrivelled, pretty sad looking and not edible. I took the skewer out and set them aside.
Our charcuterie platter arrived and just then the waiter came out to our table to tell us that our mains may come out very close to our appetizer... before he could finish his sentence the main came out. There was no room for the platters and I wanted to ask for the main to come back out later but felt terrible asking that when they’d already made it. We hadn’t even touched the charcuterie plate yet and so were torn what to do. The waiter pulled a 4-person table over to join our 2 person table - so now instead of just us sitting at a four person table to begin with we now had a 6 person table for 2 of us..?
So we started with the charcuterie platter and then after a bit of that (was amazingly delicious btw!) and then we moved onto our main. The potato was still warm but the steak was cold. It was tender and tasted good but I think had it been fresh and hot it would have been amazing. We waited and waited for the Brussel Sprouts but they never did come.
When we first ordered I asked that the drink and food bills be separated so I could have expense the meal but when the bill came out it was all on one now I cannot expense the $150 and it’s out of my own pocket.
The best lunch in the city. Full stop. I've come 4 days in a week and every day the choices are different and delicious. The speed of the meals are remarkable, and the Siu and sandwich meal in particular is my favorite.
We had two client dinners there and both said the service and food was AMAZING. Thank you very much.

Felt really disappointed with the service, the waitress announced to the whole table that I didn’t notify them of a small bday cake and their would be a charge per piece. Then they added 20% gratuity but never told us and when we noticed it she said oh yeah it included. We all felt like she was trying to double up on the tip. Loved the food and atmosphere but just let the service could have been a bit better.
Service was awesome thanks to our waitress Anna-Marie. She helped us with menu options and made sure our water and drinks were always topped up. Food was excellent - based on all six of us!
I have to start by saying the food was excellent. We had the artichoke dip and it was so good we ended up ordering another! The wine was excellent and smooth (both red and rose), all the entree were well done, and the sides were surprisingly fantastic considering they were just sides. I could eat a whole meal of those Brussel sprouts. But the best part of the entire meal was our server Carson. He gave great recommendations and went above and beyond to make my birthday special. He was making us laugh so hard with this great stories that the whole table was crying from laughter. Next time we have an important dinner we will go out of our way to come to charcut to have Carson as our server again. He made a great meal an unforgettable experience. He was training another server mark who was also great!

Only downfall was that we had to sit in the bar of the adjoined hotel. But this was understandable as we had a last minute reservation.
Food was great and the service was pretty quick.
First visit for the year and was not disappointed. The lunch all at once we ordered were the pork loin sandwich and barley and beef soup and hubby ordered the roast. With always a limited time to do lunch, the service turnaround is always great - efficient and of course, delicious food!
Food was awesome and so were all the staff. Connie came over to see how we were doing which was a nice touch.
Server was super inexperienced and flustered. I don’t think math and problem solving are skills she has fully developed.
Disappointed that the charcuterie board was only meat. Cake cutting fee?!? Seriously?! $3.50 per person?! Plus, if a bottle of wine is ordered for the table please charge everyone who your poured it for not just one person. It makes for a very awkward point to bring up if the one who is stuck with the full

Charcut is one of those restaurant experiences that are second to none. The food is always fantastic and the flavors un paralleled. I haven't been in a while, and we went to celebrate our anniversary. I was disappointed that even though I specified it was our anniversary in the OpenTable reservation no reference was made to it.
The only thing that was disappointing was during our meal a family with children were sat right beside us. The parents asked for a children's menu, which they don't have because this restaurant doesn't cater to that demographic. The children were loud and unruly, which really diminished our dining experience.

We ordered truffle duck fat poutine, smoked prime rib, beef tenderloin, brussel sprouts, salted caramel chocolate pudding, and two cocktails.
We were a bit disappointed on not being able to get a table and were seated at the bar with a reso, however the bartenders were attentive to us our entire stay so the experience was still really good. The chairs had backs which I liked so I could hang my coat. The food was really good and I thought the greens that accompanied my cut of prime rib were a nice touch. The option to choose how many oz I would like to order for prime rib was why we chose this restaurant. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner!
Such an enjoyable evening. We were served by Raven and we loved her vibrancy and knowledge of both food and beverage. She was a definite asset to making our evening special. We started out with the charcuterie board and as have always found, the meats were tasty and a great start to the meal. Our table had prime rib, porchetta and cod dishes and there wasn’t a crumb leftover. The flavours were phenomenal, well plated and we were all very happy with our choices. We don’t order dessert often but we had the sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake and were glad we did. Decadent! This was one of the best meals we have had in a while. Service, food and ambiance will be what brings us back again soon.
2-3 years ago it was one of the best restaurants in the city. Food quality and menu has really gone downhill. The one saving grace was the service which was great.
