We absolutely love Chapel Grille! The food is consistently excellent, the service is great, and it's a pretty place with very nice ambience! Bravo!!
Food was outstanding once it came. The kitchen must have gotten backed up. A 7:30 seating and we didn’t get our entrees until after 9 pm. The good news is that the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the haddock was not over cooked in spite of the wait. The waitstaff and manager tried to make it up with dessert. But my husband was not swayed. Likely we won’t go back.
Awesome experience! The castle is very romantic as is the interior with cozy seats and a fire place. The food was fabulous and service excellent. Also, great value for the food quality and atmosphere!!
Service was terrible. The hostess visibly was irritated when I asked that we be seated in the pretty part of the restaurant for a romantic dinner rather than the enclosed bland patio area she had led us to. No one checked our water, a different waiter actually drummed on our seats as he passed by because he appeared bored, empty plates were glanced at but not removed.
Too casual for a nice occasion, too expensive for casual.
Food was expensive and mediocre. Not going back.
The quality of the food and choices were adequate for the price of $28.99 per person.
From the omelets made upon your request to the variety of tasty and delicate desserts, along with perfect service from Costantino, our waiter, and Brunch manager Jonathan, no one could ask for a better experience. The brunch not only has an omelet station (huge omelets!) but also a fabulous pasta station from which you can order and create the pasta dish you truly want. You might want some additional carbs with either of those so you can toast a bagel or choose from a variety of breads! The buffet portion of this brunch allows one to eat all the sausage and bacon your heart desires, a wonderful salad and fruit bar, along with a cheese bar, and all the fixings to go with it. The potatoes and vegetables are tender and scrumptious. A carving station including ham and beef on this particular Sunday accompanied by smooth sauces could be the highlight of your main entree if you are a meat lover - and if not, the chicken scallopine hardly requires a knife; the salmon is oh so fresh and perfectly prepared. Oh yes, do leave room for those fabulous desserts to go along with your coffee or tea!!
Excellent dinner from start to finish! We always enjoy the evening. We’ll be back and thanks!
Lunch was excellent. Pasta Fagioli soup was so tasty along with their bread basket from which we enjoyed dunking the bread into the soup. Hubby always loves the rigatoni bolognese and the pan roasted turkey sandwich was so fresh and inviting on artisan sourdough bread gorgonzola mayo, crisp golden delicious apple, cranberry chutney, and romaine lettuce- loved having the option of a side of salad with it instead of fries! Jonathan was managing and our waiter , Constantino, both saw to it that all was perfect! It was a great way to enjoy the day while the rain and wind storm brewed outside!
I have no idea why the hostess put my friend and me out on the patio/bar area instead of the dining room. There appeared to be enough seats in the dining room, plus we had a reservation. I should have said something. It was loud in general, but then we were seated behind a table of four yelling locals. The whole experience was cheesy--not classy.
My friends and I had a wonderful lunch that was delicious and unhurried. We will definitely visit again.
As always Chapel Grille was amazing the food , drinks and service were outstanding
They have a new menu I felt it was interesting
A bit pricey but nice for a special occasion. Waiter was appropriately attentive. Had an empty water glass for quite a while. A table of 12-15 next to us was a bit noisy. Food was outstanding Overall, a very delightful dinner.
Wonderful meal and extraordinary service - for my birthday - we will definitely be back soon.
a large group of us came here for my birthday... it was a great experience for all
Food was very good. The service started out being good but went down hill, was not up to par.
My husband and I recently took our sons, their wives and our granddaughter for dinner on a Sunday for one of my son's birthday. We booked through open table and were seated where we requested and the food and service were excellent. We have been here several times on the week-ends and during the week for a casual dinner and events and have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend it.
Me and my boyfriend came here for a belated valentines dinner. Having never been here, I didnt know what to expect. Although pricy, the food was delicious and fresh. The drinks were worth it, I'd definitely go again!
Excellent food and service! $100 including tip on brunch is a little pricey but for a once and a while special occasion is worth it.
At first they were overly attentive then towards the end had to wait for them. We went for brunch we should not have had to ask for coffee halfway thru our meal. The food was not as hot as previous visits.
The waitress was very down to earth and accommodating.
Food was very good. Whole experience was good. Only thing that was lacking was the service. Our waiter came over and said he’d be right back, we waited probably ten minutes and he just asked if we knew what we wanted. Didn’t go over the specials which we saw others doing. He brought us bread but no butter. Again, nothing crazy, just little things. Overall really good experience
As always Chapel View never disappoints me at all , the service is excellent ,the wait staff are the best at what they do . The management staff has a good grip on things . The food is always to die for esp the oysters are delicious .... wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone here .....
I don't always find Lamb Chops on a menu so seldom order them out, however you have them on yours and they were cooked to perfection! Everything was just done excellently, along with very good service! Our waitress was very courteous and friendly and had knowledge of what was being served and what the dinner specials were! Great ambiance and an overall lovely evening! Thank you!
Thanks for making our belated Valentine’s date a wonderful one! Delicious, as always!
Nice time. The waiter never brought our calamari, but think it was just a mistake. He was very nice & attentive otherwise!
Great value for food and ambiance. Friendly staff/waiters
Awesome service food and drinks
I enjoy going here for special occasions. It's nearby and the atmosphere is classy. The wait staff is very attentive and the food tastes good. I'm very sensitive to MSG but I don't have any reaction to the food here. It isn't cheap but not outrageous either and there is a fairly good selection.
It was valentine day. The service was very slow. The food was mediocre
Kelly was great, and even though the wait time was long it was still incredibly worth it!
Went there for dinner on Valentines Day. It was an early dinner at 5:45 and there was no wait. Unfortunately my wife and I waited for an hour and 10 minutes to get our dinner. Couples which were sat after us received their food before us. What a joke, we had tickets to see a movie which was missed due to waiting so long for our food. Never again Chapel Grill! You ruined our night!
As usual, the food was excellent and the service was incredibly slow.
Got seated within 10 minutes of coming in, had a reservation, waited about an hour and a half for our food to come, for it to be cold. Our server AJ was amazing, if it wasn’t for her we’d probably have a horrible time.
Awesome. Table was very small but otherwise very good.
We’ve been there several times before when it’s been busy and the service is always good. Except for this night. It was incredibly slow for no apparent reason. The arancini appetizer was excellent but the entree’s were sub par. We were there nearly two hours and didn’t bother with dessert.
Went for Valentine's Day and wasn't disappointed! Took us right at our reservation time and the food was delicious!
It was awful. Waited a half hour for our table and didnt get our food until 1 1/5 later. Then when it finally came it just wasnt that good
The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. I took my wife there for her first time for Valentines Day. I've gone here previously for business meals. Our server, Jacqueline, was extremely pleasant. However, it appears that the restaurant over-extended themselves for V-day to make as much $$ as they could. For the price of the appetizer, two dinners and a $32 bottle of wine, it was $132-, which included no desert or coffee. The meals were average at best. There are many restaurants in RI that provide more value and are just as nice. The appearance of both of our meals were unimaginative, almost just thrown together. You would expect more from a simple plate of pasta with vodka sauce and 5 scallops. Even dressing it up with something green would have been nice. I left a poor review on their Facebook page and the ownership apologized to me and another disgruntled customer, which was a nice gesture. Regardless, I won't be returning there for dinner. I may return for a cocktail at their bar which is very nice. But, that's about it. We are not "foodies" and are usually easy to impress. Unfortunately our experience was unimpressive.
