Amazing service, ambiance, food and drinks!!! We visited for a 5:30 reservation on a Saturday night. Highly recommend Saints & Sinners as a “must do” when you’re in NOLA!
Best part of the evening was the food. Flavor was perfect. Crawfish pie could Have been served a little hotter. The worst part of the evening was the bathrooms. I chose to wait to get back to the hotel. The service was good. Basically this restaurant is very typical of Bourbon Street.
As a bar... Its bourbon good time. Food was eh and not good enough. Rice was undercooked and really didnt give you much sausage for a red beans and rice main course. A worship session upstairs was bleeding downstairs with a drum beat that wouldnt stop. Crawfish were good. But really can you screw that up?
It was fine. They transition to a nightclub at 9. Our reservation was at 8 and the entire place was empty and pushing chairs and putting up tables and such. Maybe better as a nightclub, it was fine but not somewhere I would highly recommend when in NOLA.
Would have loved to eat here... opentable gave us a reservation and confirmed.
Unfortunately, when we arrived, the restaurant said it was full even though our reservation showed on their site-
We had a reservation and when we arrived there looked to be only one staff member on duty...there were bowls of crawfish everywhere on tables and on the bar. We waited to be sat, then another party of two walked up behind us and a party of four behind them. After waiting for a bit we decided to head to another place; we weren’t really interested in sitting next to piles of crawfish on dirty tables.
Great food. Cool people. With stopping.
This was the most Un-Southern Hospitality I had ever experienced during my time in NOLA. Not only were we turned down once, but twice at this establishment. The first time we were turned down, they told us that the restaurant is at capacity for reservations. To make things worse, there were only 3 tables occupied. The restaurant was empty.
We then decided to check opentable. Sure enough, they had open time slots for every 15 minutes for the remainder of the evening. So I decided to secure a reservation vis opentable. We went back to the restaurant and the server and host recognized us, asked if we had a reservation and I informed them I secured one moments ago via Opentable. The host then goes out back to speak to the waitress, who 10 minutes later came to tell us that they cannot honor our reservation as we needed to make them 24hrs in advance via opentable.
Food was mediocre. Not worth the amount of money spent, in my opinion. Last time I was in New Orleans I was told it required a reservation so I booked one this time. Yea it was empty. And now I know way, food was ok. Drinks were ok. Nothing was spectacular other than the service, she was nice. I left hungry. Plenty of other better and cleaner places in the French Quarters.
The food was mediocre, the floors sticky and the coffee was served at room temperature. We were disappointed
Poor boy sandwich was delicious and the giving to charity was a marvelous additional--well worth while
This was a complete disappoint. The atmosphere was boring at best, and our waitress had a uniform on she probably hadn’t washed in 3 days. We were there for a bachelorette party not a boredom fest. The food was mediocre at best. You can walk a few blocks and find better food at one of the bars. Complete waste of time and money.
The food was delicious and enjoyed the ice cream nachos for dessert.
This was a pretty cool spot and the foot was delicious. They even have a stripper pole in the restaurant which makes for an interesting dinner. Overall, fun times
My Wife and I brought her Parents, and our Kids to enjoy (2) Crawfish boils, crawfish étouffée, red beans & rice, alligator, and popin’ shrimp with Thai chili sauce. We again enjoyed our S&S experiences!
Delicious food. Some of the best in New Orleans !
Disappointing. No ambiance, small and food was just Ok. Service also just OK. There are much better places to go in NOLA.
Slow service and overspiced food. The etouffe was over salted and the sampler plate was so overspiced I couldn’t tell the difference between crawfish, gator and shrimp
The food was the worst I have had in the entire French quarter. We came for a Birthday and the woman loves Channing Tatum.
I’m glad he has a day job.
Waitress was confused a lot of the time. My sisters shrimp were the size of a nickel ... just over all a mistake for us
We went here because my friend wanted the boiled crawfish and she was not disappointed! I had the crawfish pie and it was delicious. it was crowded and boisterous, but, it's New Orleans.. I think you have to expect that.
It was such a fun atmosphere, although it was a little small (especially the bathrooms). I had the red beans and rice and they were good. Husband had the caesar salad and he enjoyed that as well. The Sinner cocktail was so good and I would recommend trying it!
The Crawfish were a bit of a challenge. None of them popped like they should. The server and kitchen were very accommodating and even the second plate they sent out was extremely challenging to eat.
The wife liked her meal and the drinks were pretty great, however.
Cordial staff! Great portion sizes! Perfectly seasoned! Fried Alligator, Grown Up Mac & Cheese, and Crawfish Etouffee- my daughter and I shared those items and loved EVERY bite! Loved the color red on the walls. And the ladies silhouette art pieces were classy! Also love the stained windows the the top of the doors!
I was Very upset with the whole experience the pictures online looked nothing like what we walked into. It was a birthday dinner and turned out horrible. Will not go back!!!!!
We had high hopes about this dinner as everything we read said this was the “bachelorette spot”. The bachelorette bag we purchased was missing items and was still the same price. I emailed a manager weeks prior to coming that we would want one, kind of upset about that. The food was poor quality. The cheese on the nachos looked like velvetta and the beef looked... like it would make you sick later. I personally ordered the S&S burger because of the branding pressed on it. The machine didn’t work so it was a regular looking burger. Found that out after it was brought to the table, not while I ordered it. Not a terrible burger but not amazing. My friend ordered the Gouda grits and shrimp. Everyone at the table tasted the grits and there was definitely no Gouda. Gouda was an up-charge. The ambiance was lacking sexiness for a place that was infamous for bachelorette parties and being owned by Channing Tatum. I would give this place one star. The only star is for their involvement in charity work. Glad my money went to somewhere good because that meal and experience were below my expectations. If you’re coming for a bachelorette party, skip the swag bag for your bride. But also, skip this place all together and do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
Absolutely loved this restaurant. The service was great and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Thanks for the recent visit!!!
Sexy vibe. Great server. Fabulous drinks!
Thanks for taking the time out to give us a review. If you don't mind us asking, what can we improve upon next time in order to get to five stars from you... Management
Nice place. Food was generally good. We had gumbo poutine, BBQ shrimp and grits, and the grilled gulf fish. Both entrees were fantastic. The poutine was okay. I’m a gumbo snob and have yet to find a restaurant that I really love the gumbo. Also, since I frequent Montreal and Quebec and know a good poutine, I would have liked the cheese to have been more “curd-y”. Drinks were fabulous. We had 2 Feel the Woods and then one of us had a Irish Mule and one had a Kentucky Mule. After we each had another Kentucky Mule as it was definitely the favorite. Would have liked it in the traditional copper cup. ;)
Nikki- Thanks for stopping in! Glad you enjoyed everything (well except for no copper cups...we've used them in the past, but unfortunately people steal them, so it's a little pricey to keep them on hand) Management
Love the bartender David! Really great guy with good recommendations.
The server rushed us in ordering our drinks and dinner as she kept coming back every 30 seconds to see if we ready to order and then finally stood there until we ordered. The jambalaya was dry, no flavor, and she recommended it. We ordered, ate and was out of there within half hour!
The down and dirty oysters were delicious!!
Food was superb atmosphere was great
Awesome service and great food. Definitely going back to enjoy again.
The staff at Channing Tatum's Saints & Sinners were not friendly or accommodating. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.
Hi Esky- If we may ask, do you remember who your server was or when you dined on the 20th? This way we can figure out why your experience differs so drastically from others.... Management
This place wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. It is very over priced as compared to other restaurants in the area that have far better food, service and ambience. I truly feel you are paying for the famous name on the door.
Such a great experience visiting Channing’s restaurant! I had my first Po boy and it was Incredible!!!!! The atmosphere was fantastic too.
Came here for the crawfish. Come to find out they are overpriced and previously frozen. Got the oysters and they were pretty terrible. The wings were ok. Overpriced for what you get. The etoufee was cold.
It was ok. Expected more but your average New Orleans pub.
Stefania- Thanks for stopping in recently. Is there anything in particular that we can improve upon in order to make your next visit more enjoyable? Management
This place was just okay. Not worth the price.
Hi Haley- Sorry to hear you were not happy with things. If we may ask, was there anything in particular we could change in order to have made your visit more memorable? Management
