Not impressed with the $42 steak. It was at best average. The charcuterie was not impressive. Overall, for the price not impressed with the $100 meal on St Patrick’s Day.
made a stressful day pleasant and relaxing. service was excellent, food outstanding. loved their bread selections and food was tasty. Try the lobster shrimp tacos!
I was very disappointed in the food. A fish sandwich came with the fish so thick it was not eatable as a sandwich. The beet salad had too much dressing on it and was not exciting. I would not return.
My $42.00 steak was mostly fat. Poor service. My cocktail was good.
Phenomenal!! Love this place, great view, great beer and food is top notch.
Service was horrible. Dropped off the food and never filled our drinks once. We finished the food and the plates were sitting at the edge of the table for 15 mins before anyone asked if we were done. Asked for the bill then 10 min later the server comes back without the bill asking if we want desert. Food was mediocre. All and all sucked. I would have never posted this but they emailed me asking for a review so here it is.
Service was excellent. Although a limited dinner menu, the food was very good. One of the better prime ribs I've had in a while.
Great food and service. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made us feel special
T'was the night of winter formals and bar mitzvahs. We arrived just in time for the teens to depart. Garrett took care of us at the bar with a peach bourbon mule and a blood orange old fashion, both delicious. Then the accommodating hostesses sat us near the fire pit on the patio. Zach took care of our food services. We had 2 glasses of Albarino, always nice to find on a menu, 2 ciopinnos and the salted caramel vanilla profiteroles. The ciopinno was a bit creamier than we are used to, but you know what, it was still light and lovely. We are from Fallbrook but were camping across the way, about a 20min walk to our site so perfect to work up and off an appetite. Would definately recommend for locals or lucky travelers.
Service was great, food was delicious and good portions! I had the salmon and Parmesan risotto with bacon asparagus and it was delicious, I’d definitely go back for it! My husband had the short ribs which he liked but wanted a bit more flavor. We sat in the patio and they were very accommodating with getting the heaters set up by us so we were comfortable. Sunset view was beautiful from the patio. Great experience all in all!
Mahi Fish Tacos were great! Our server, Justin, was super helpful and friendly. Very few vegetarian options for my girlfriend to choose from and a pretty loud table of kids next to us. Overall the service and food were great though. Price was moderate. Would go again but it's not something that is a destination restaurant unless you're there for sunset to see the beautiful views.
Our first time here. And it was a pleasant one. The host asked if we wanted to seat outside, which was a good choice.... The outside heaters were set to the right temperature.... Our server was polite and nice... Very nice place!!!!
We chose Chandler’s to celebrate our sixth wedding anniversary. The hostess was friendly and sat us immediately. The waiter was busy with many tables to attend to. However, the couple at the table behind us was given a lot of attention, due to the fact that they got married earlier that day. Our appetizer came promptly after ordering. Our entree’s and check took more time. My husband and I made our night special but would not return to this restaurant. Every year we go out for our anniversary , this is the first time it was not acknowledged by restaurant staff. Perhaps, it was an off night, but we shall never know.
We visited Chandlers for my husbands birthday. The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to accommodate. We ordered the calamari appetizer, but were a bit disappointed because it was soggy, and the breading was falling off, maybe due to the fact that the dish may have been waiting for a while before it was served. All the main dishes were fine, except the risotto that came with the salmon(which was delicious), the risotto was extremely oily and even though the taste was good, it was the oiliest risotto I've ever had. The ambiance was good as always, it's a very picturesque location, and I never get tired of the ocean view.
Good food, check out the sides! Excellent service. Make reservation.
The diner was awful ! We didn’t finish our entrée that the meal was arrived ! If you want to have a good time to share with friends don’t go there !
Chandler's was a wonderful place for our New Year's Eve dinner, and our server, from Urageuy, was spectacular!
King here for New Year’s eve dinner. Everything was delicious, Circuit is great atmosphere great
Great view of the ocean, and a short menu that will please most tastes. The charcuterie and white bean hummus plates were excellent.
Christmas dinner buffet was excellent. We did miss the seafood options we had in 2016. It could become a Christmas tradition .
Excellent service and good! High quality food and great view.
I took my wife here to celebrate her birthday. We got to seat in the patio with very romantic atmosphere. I had no regret taking my wife here because the service was great as well as their food options. Definitely the best spot to take your date or spouse for a special occassion.
The fresh fish was halibut that day, so I ordered the sandwich. It looked to be a beautiful piece of fish, but it was overcooked and very dry. How disappointing.
Everyone else enjoyed their meals and Austin was a great server.
A few dishes were good, most were average or below average. The waiter was bad. The support staff was all good. I was disappointed with the overall food quality and very disappointed by the service. The salmon was tasteless as were the chicken sandwiches. Chicken and shrimp and lobster nachos were good, however the cilantro in them was bad. There was a beef medallions special, it was good.
Staff was friendly but overwhelmed with the thanksgiving dinner. The waiter got behind and never caught up. Missed opportunnies for additional drinks; never checked on the food; the poor bus person was caught getting waived down every time we needed something.
We made a reservation for Thanksgiving. Prompt seating. Our waiter was extremely attentive and the staff well trained. The view and sunset were exceptional and the food exceeded our expectations. Definitely will return and bring our friends!
Everything was great except the Thanksgiving Dinner Entree that included turkey. White and dark turkey meats were super dry. Quantity does not make up for quality. Bummer.
thank you for making thanksgiving special, food was great, service was perfect. thank you
Food was the best and wine pairing had the BEST wines selected. Only improvement would be to have the pairings poured immediately after food is served. We got our pours way too late and there weren't that many people at the time we went which was 1:00. Our waitress was great but the one who assisted her with the pours. was way behind. The food was the Best. Chef was beyond. Presentation was on fleek and wow the tastes surpassed expectations. Everyone comment on how good the food was. Several times during the course. I had the beef and it was prepared just how I like it. Great Job. Looking forward to next year with happy hours in between.
Thanksgiving meal menu was amazing. All four courses were so delicious.
Not worth the money. Convenient because we were staying at the hotel, but the food was just “eh” and super expensive.
Loud, slow service, and poor tasting over-cooked food.
Lunch was excellent! We both ordered the fish sandwich and it was outstanding. Our waiter was always there when you needed him. Can't wait to go back!
After sitting outside with drinks and watching a wonderful sunset, we moved inside to a table with a view of the ocean. I did the prime ribeye steak and my wife had the short ribs. I have to say that I have never had a ribeye with more flavor. In fact, I can say it was the best ribeye I have ever enjoyed. We will definitely be coming back. My wife’s short ribs were tender and flavorful. It was all wrapped up with the best service we have experienced thanks especially to our waiter named Zach. He was attentive, nothing was an issue with him, and he made us feel that we were truly welcome!
Made the reservation weeks in advance since my adult children were visiting. First time dining at this restaurant. They did not reserve an outside table for us although I requested it weeks before. Food was average. Had the lobster Tacos. Nothing special for such an expensive entree. Food took too long to receive. Wine list is medicore. Service was average dispite the fact that the dining room was not full. Decor is dated. Best thing was we were able to watch TV from our table. The bar is in the dining room. They charge for parking even if you are dining with them. Will not return.
Quiet for a weekend and plenty of open tables - service was good and attentive. Very casual and family friendly.
I had salmon and it was overcooked, dry and not fresh. My girlfriend had prime rib and it was overcooked.
Uninspired small menu and on the pricy side. Great service but slow kitchen which is remarkable since the food is rather plain and boring. Beach is across the street but highway noise and noise from hotels pool area were annoying.
Review is for outside dinning. Friendly service and great food with a view. Much quiter if you sit outside. The hostess had a perfect table waiting and called earlier in the day to discuss the seating accommodation and confirm the reservation.
