I took my wife here to celebrate her birthday. We got to seat in the patio with very romantic atmosphere. I had no regret taking my wife here because the service was great as well as their food options. Definitely the best spot to take your date or spouse for a special occassion.
A few dishes were good, most were average or below average. The waiter was bad. The support staff was all good. I was disappointed with the overall food quality and very disappointed by the service. The salmon was tasteless as were the chicken sandwiches. Chicken and shrimp and lobster nachos were good, however the cilantro in them was bad. There was a beef medallions special, it was good.
Staff was friendly but overwhelmed with the thanksgiving dinner. The waiter got behind and never caught up. Missed opportunnies for additional drinks; never checked on the food; the poor bus person was caught getting waived down every time we needed something.
Food was the best and wine pairing had the BEST wines selected. Only improvement would be to have the pairings poured immediately after food is served. We got our pours way too late and there weren't that many people at the time we went which was 1:00. Our waitress was great but the one who assisted her with the pours. was way behind. The food was the Best. Chef was beyond. Presentation was on fleek and wow the tastes surpassed expectations. Everyone comment on how good the food was. Several times during the course. I had the beef and it was prepared just how I like it. Great Job. Looking forward to next year with happy hours in between.
After sitting outside with drinks and watching a wonderful sunset, we moved inside to a table with a view of the ocean. I did the prime ribeye steak and my wife had the short ribs. I have to say that I have never had a ribeye with more flavor. In fact, I can say it was the best ribeye I have ever enjoyed. We will definitely be coming back. My wife’s short ribs were tender and flavorful. It was all wrapped up with the best service we have experienced thanks especially to our waiter named Zach. He was attentive, nothing was an issue with him, and he made us feel that we were truly welcome!
Made the reservation weeks in advance since my adult children were visiting. First time dining at this restaurant. They did not reserve an outside table for us although I requested it weeks before. Food was average. Had the lobster Tacos. Nothing special for such an expensive entree. Food took too long to receive. Wine list is medicore. Service was average dispite the fact that the dining room was not full. Decor is dated. Best thing was we were able to watch TV from our table. The bar is in the dining room. They charge for parking even if you are dining with them. Will not return.
Would not recommend based upon our experience. When I made the reservation I mentioned we were celebrating an "anniversary". We were seated promptly on the patio but then never acknowledged, or helped, after that. We waited quite a long time before deciding that was not the experience we were looking for that night and left. The food prices, and selection, looked adequate but we did not have the chance to sample anything.
We were celebrating my son's birthday. The waitress hardly ever came by. We were starving - had to ask for bread once we finally saw her. They were having an event at the other side of the restaurant and the wait staff was stretched thin. There was hardly even an apology. I would expect more for having paid what I did. It's pretty pricey here. You're really paying for the view - which was pretty spectacular. It also helped that we were staying at the hotel. Doubt I'd come back though.
Always love to come here for business lunches (after the lunch time crush) for the view, the unique menu, and the service. Tried the albacore tuna today and it was excellent. Prices are not cheap, but the service and view make it a great spot for a casual get together or business casual lunch. I enjoy that they remember me, the table I prefer, and listen to my order so I don't get foods I can't eat due to allergic reactions. A plus!
We were visitors from out of state and decided on this restaurant since it was located near the ocean and had live music. When we arrived, they seated us on the patio and later we found out that the live band was going to be played on the other patio. We had a terrible experience with our service as we had to ask for bread, plates, refill on drinks and our food order came out wrong and was sent back. We both ordered the surf and turf and for the price we paid, we deserved much better service and food quality. We asked to speak to a manager when we left and they said that Manager Paren was in a meeting and couldn't speak with us. Then, we spoke to the GM of the Hotel who then stated that the Manager Matt of restaurant was in a meeting. We stated we thought the manager was Paren? He then said, well Matt is probably in a meeting with Paren. Good cover up! Anyways, the GM stated he would see what he could do about our experience, but never asked for our name or number. They obviously are not open to feedback, nor do they care about their customers experience. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone! I never write reviews, but was so disappointed that I am taking the time to make sure no on else has this experience.
