Does the trick! We stayed at this Nashville Airport Marriot for one night at the beginning of our Nashville vacation and one night at the end, when we had to fly out on a 6:am flight. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise with a good selection of options and better food and service than one normally expects at an airport hotel. We had the buffet breakfast on our first stay and it was great! Lots of good choices, both healthy and indulgent (great biscuits!), and we appreciated the option to have a custom made omelet. We tried dinner on our second stay and were also pleased. The room is attractive, our booth was roomy and comfortable, the service was nice, and the quality of our simple meal was pleasing. The three of us shared the chicken wings to start, and I had the brown rice bowl with chicken, black beans, avocado, and pico de gallo and it was tasty and healthy. My husband and son both had burgers, and gave them a thumbs up. We had a nice bottle of wine and got out of there for under $100 bucks. I don't know if I would go out of my way to eat there if we lived in Nashville, but we were very happy with the experience as travelers staying there on our way in and and out of town.
Service is decent. Atmosphere is great. Crab soup is amazing!!
Sunday buffet brunch was good. Lunch and breakfast items with lots of choices and an omelet/waffle station.
Thanksgiving ham, turkey, and salad were delicious! Veggies were just okay and not very warm. Service was excellent, but price is too high for what you got!!
Our server was the only saving grace to this experience. Food quality was all over the place. She crab soup was good, hot chicken over cooked, mahi mahi was not good.
Food took forever to come out of the kitchen.
Service was very accommodating, Ron did a great job of explaining the menu options and looked after our every need. The meatloaf was very good. We enjoyed the boom boom shrimp appetizer before dinner. The shrimp pasta was ok, but not great.
When our server first introduced herself, she said she was new...However, my boyfriend and I frequently visit Champions and she was our server the last two times... *awkward*
Why lie?...because she is a horrible server... each time. Great place though.
We really enjoyed the big tower of appetizers, and our server was excellent.
Really great food! We were very impressed. Service was very attentive.
Best crab cakes! Nice staff. We eat at Champions as often as possible & highly recommend it. Nice wine list, too.
The mothers enjoyed it for Mother's Day. We were out of options, and I was very glad to run on this find.
The crabcakes here are wonderful - almost all crab! Some of the best I've had anywhere. And I appreciate that the restaurant will change the sides as I wish and will allow me to get a half-order. Not many restaurants are as flexible as this one. I will definitely be back!
We were on the way to catch a plane to Orlando and wanted something close. We were very happy to be seated with our very own TV and got to watch UK playing Alabama. Good food and experience.
Great service and food.
Great vibe. Love the food. Customer service amazing always work hard to make me feel comfortable and welcomed.
Highly recommend the bone in ribeye!
This is a great brunch spot. Today was noisier than usual.
Great place and nice host and hostess every time I dine!
We had never been to Champions, but the Thanksgiving lunch we had there was such an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The only "negative" part was we had so much delicious food brought to our table we could have used a bigger table, so really no negative at all!
The crab cakes are phenomenal! I always order them. The staff are super-friendly, too, and will accommodate your needs. All the food is excellent at this hotel, definitely worth a trip across town.
Food was very good and reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. We had the salmon BLT and gyro and drinks. We asked to sit away from the bar so the noise level was acceptable.
The entire restaurant had a great ambiance, the decor of the restaurant makes you feel comfortable but also is upscale enough to dress nice. The check in staff were friendly and we were sat right away. Our waiter was extremely helpful answering all of our questions. Everyone in my party decided to go with the buffet which featured all you can eat pasta (made by the chef right in front of you), pulled pork, stuffing, salad and desserts. The food was really good, my favorite from the experience was the strawberry lemonade and the pasta bar. You were able to get the pasta how you liked it which was fantastic to be able to try combinations that you may not have the chance to try. This was a business meeting and it was the perfect restaurant, there were televisions and the noise was moderate so that we could talk about work related activities. I would highly recommend this restaurant for not only business dining but a date or even the family.
Ordered dessert after our meal & waited 30 minutes for it & NEVER received it. Moreover, the waiter NEVER came back to check on us to let us know what was going on. Finally, the food was very overpriced for MEDIOCRE food at best.
The ambiance was great for a getaway fory hubby's birthday. He was able to watch the game and I was able to enjoy the time together as I relaxed and ate. It was delish a lil pricey but good.
I reserved an area for 10 to watch sports for the evening with family and friends. My area was not ready. BUT the manager and wait staff went all out to make me feel welcomed and very attentive to my needs. We had a great time as always when I visit Champion's Lounge at the Marriott. Super local hide away. Customer Service was always a win for me.
Wow the food and the service were incredible! I highly recommend the wings.
I had just got married and brought both sides of the family together in Nashville for everyone to meet for the first time. We stayed at the hotel and we ate at Champions several times since we had (18) people in our party. They did a great job of accommodating the number of people in my party and the waiter we had did a great job and made our group feel special!
We had an excellent experience for our monthly dinner business meeting. We couldn't get the Lobby internet to work but the manager gave us a password and it solved the problem. I really like the service and convenience of this place.
I had my fiance a surprise birthday party on a Saturday night with a group of 20 people. Although they couldn't seat one couple at our table, they placed them in a booth close by our table where they still felt a part of the party. The location was great, the atmosphere was great. The only complaint I have is the food and drinks. The food was cold when it came out and they forgot a order. The management was great in taking care of our issues but I don't think the kitchen was staffed to handle amount of food that was ordered. The mix drinks were not good at all. I would suggest to try their signature drinks or go with a wine or beer. I think the food could have been better if it was a party of 2. I would revisit just because I'm curious as to seeing what their happy hour has to offer.
This is by far the best place for breakfast! The chef, Zakee, makes some of the best omelets ever and the waffles are so delicious! Great price and fantastic food!
Great service and great food, for our Christmas Dinner.
We have made the Marriott Christmas brunch a tradition for several years. Years ago it was a wonderful event with omelet station, pasta station, along with traditional fare. This year as well as last year were both disappointments. The restaurant was not busy yet service was at a snail's pace. The food, while tasty was tepid at best. The server disappeared after the food was served and did not reappear until after we had finished. When I commented that the food was cold, she did not disappeared again until we had to ask the bus boy for our desserts. We will be booking reservations elsewhere next year for Christmas day and I would not recommend anyone to make the Marriott part of their plans. You expect better.
A stalwart eatery suited to just arriving at hotel or not feeling like going out or to watch a favorite sports team play. Food is good; service great. Noisy as you would expect from a sports bar. This restaurant also has a breakfast buffet.
Had a great time here! The service was Awesome and the food amazing! Magid was our waiter and her was very attentive and pleasant. We will gladly come back again!
Just to add to my prior review: The wine list was nice, very special to have New Zealand Brancott Sauv. Blanc offered.
We ate lunch and dinner here since we were staying at the hotel. The crabcakes were outstanding - as were the other seafood dishes. We will definitely return - just to eat here!
The food was very good, Shrimp and Grits. WE had very good service.
This restaurant is such a hidden gem. I enjoyed watching several sports events at Champions. The staff has always been wonderful.
I am not a sports bar kind of girl, but during the world cup I needed a place that a group could get together to watch. My sister recommended Champions. She has a football meet up group that meets there and raves about the food, service, food and atmosphere. She was right!!
Service was outstanding! I had two different servers and they were both great. Very friendly and outgoing, made recommendations that were great. Could have improved the burger, it was just OK! The World Cup games were going on and the place was busy during the games and had a good dinner crown afterwards too. Not much else around, shuttle service from area hotels was a BIG plus!
