Champions - Marriott Airport Nashville
We chose Champions at the Marriott because of its location and menu. After driving 150 miles (in the rain), we wanted a nice quiet relaxing dinner before a later concert. The experience was anything but quiet !! A manager and several staff proceeded to move tables out and noisily set up long folding tables no more than 15 feet away from where we were seated, totally oblivious us. There were other diners there but were seated further away from the noise. I asked our waiter if something could be done and he immediately spoke to the manager which stopped the activity temporarily. We received a lame apology as we left.
It appeared it was more important to set up for a Mother’s Day brunch 16 hours in the future than a customer’s dining experience.
I love this restaurant every time I go. The food is always good and I love the atmosphere.
Really good food and good service. I will definitely go back next time I’m in Nashville.
Nice selection of local craft beers - and they let you do flights!
Turkey burger was moist and flavorful.
Salad with grilled chicken was very good.
Not many TVs where we were seated for a sports bar restaurant
Lunch buffet is a great value & plentiful selection. Service is exemplary from the host, server, pasta chef & manager. TV at every booth with full DirecTV package allows even more choice.
Nice place, best French onion soup I've ever had! Excellent hotel restaurant.
Great food and awesome atmosphere!!!
Enjoyed dining at Champions. Food, service, and ambience was great!
Service was outstanding. All of the wait staff were very attentive and friendly. Lunch buffet is great, especially the pasta bar. But a little pricey.
Rub eye Steak is why I’ll come back
Once again Sunday morning brunch at Champions was a delight! My omelet was huge, plenty of bacon, the roast beef was just right, the fruit was ripe, sweet, and delicious. This is my favorite place to come for Sunday morning brunch. The staff never fails. They raise rates for some special days, like Mother's Day. But for Father's Day rates were the same, not many people present. It all added up to a great start of Father's Day. I recommend Champions Brunch on Sunday mornings. Lots of food, many decisions, all good!
No vegetarian options except for chips and dip. No blinds or shades on the window facing sunset meant the sun was shining into our eyes. Meals were very slow to get to the table. Limited beers.
Does the trick! We stayed at this Nashville Airport Marriot for one night at the beginning of our Nashville vacation and one night at the end, when we had to fly out on a 6:am flight. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise with a good selection of options and better food and service than one normally expects at an airport hotel. We had the buffet breakfast on our first stay and it was great! Lots of good choices, both healthy and indulgent (great biscuits!), and we appreciated the option to have a custom made omelet. We tried dinner on our second stay and were also pleased. The room is attractive, our booth was roomy and comfortable, the service was nice, and the quality of our simple meal was pleasing. The three of us shared the chicken wings to start, and I had the brown rice bowl with chicken, black beans, avocado, and pico de gallo and it was tasty and healthy. My husband and son both had burgers, and gave them a thumbs up. We had a nice bottle of wine and got out of there for under $100 bucks. I don't know if I would go out of my way to eat there if we lived in Nashville, but we were very happy with the experience as travelers staying there on our way in and and out of town.
Service is decent. Atmosphere is great. Crab soup is amazing!!
Sunday buffet brunch was good. Lunch and breakfast items with lots of choices and an omelet/waffle station.
Thanksgiving ham, turkey, and salad were delicious! Veggies were just okay and not very warm. Service was excellent, but price is too high for what you got!!
Our server was the only saving grace to this experience. Food quality was all over the place. She crab soup was good, hot chicken over cooked, mahi mahi was not good.
Food took forever to come out of the kitchen.
Service was very accommodating, Ron did a great job of explaining the menu options and looked after our every need. The meatloaf was very good. We enjoyed the boom boom shrimp appetizer before dinner. The shrimp pasta was ok, but not great.
When our server first introduced herself, she said she was new...However, my boyfriend and I frequently visit Champions and she was our server the last two times... *awkward*
Why lie?...because she is a horrible server... each time. Great place though.
We really enjoyed the big tower of appetizers, and our server was excellent.
Really great food! We were very impressed. Service was very attentive.
Best crab cakes! Nice staff. We eat at Champions as often as possible & highly recommend it. Nice wine list, too.
The mothers enjoyed it for Mother's Day. We were out of options, and I was very glad to run on this find.
The crabcakes here are wonderful - almost all crab! Some of the best I've had anywhere. And I appreciate that the restaurant will change the sides as I wish and will allow me to get a half-order. Not many restaurants are as flexible as this one. I will definitely be back!
We were on the way to catch a plane to Orlando and wanted something close. We were very happy to be seated with our very own TV and got to watch UK playing Alabama. Good food and experience.
Great service and food.
Great vibe. Love the food. Customer service amazing always work hard to make me feel comfortable and welcomed.
Highly recommend the bone in ribeye!
This is a great brunch spot. Today was noisier than usual.
Great place and nice host and hostess every time I dine!
We had never been to Champions, but the Thanksgiving lunch we had there was such an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The only "negative" part was we had so much delicious food brought to our table we could have used a bigger table, so really no negative at all!
The crab cakes are phenomenal! I always order them. The staff are super-friendly, too, and will accommodate your needs. All the food is excellent at this hotel, definitely worth a trip across town.
Food was very good and reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. We had the salmon BLT and gyro and drinks. We asked to sit away from the bar so the noise level was acceptable.
The entire restaurant had a great ambiance, the decor of the restaurant makes you feel comfortable but also is upscale enough to dress nice. The check in staff were friendly and we were sat right away. Our waiter was extremely helpful answering all of our questions. Everyone in my party decided to go with the buffet which featured all you can eat pasta (made by the chef right in front of you), pulled pork, stuffing, salad and desserts. The food was really good, my favorite from the experience was the strawberry lemonade and the pasta bar. You were able to get the pasta how you liked it which was fantastic to be able to try combinations that you may not have the chance to try. This was a business meeting and it was the perfect restaurant, there were televisions and the noise was moderate so that we could talk about work related activities. I would highly recommend this restaurant for not only business dining but a date or even the family.
Ordered dessert after our meal & waited 30 minutes for it & NEVER received it. Moreover, the waiter NEVER came back to check on us to let us know what was going on. Finally, the food was very overpriced for MEDIOCRE food at best.
The ambiance was great for a getaway fory hubby's birthday. He was able to watch the game and I was able to enjoy the time together as I relaxed and ate. It was delish a lil pricey but good.
I reserved an area for 10 to watch sports for the evening with family and friends. My area was not ready. BUT the manager and wait staff went all out to make me feel welcomed and very attentive to my needs. We had a great time as always when I visit Champion's Lounge at the Marriott. Super local hide away. Customer Service was always a win for me.
Wow the food and the service were incredible! I highly recommend the wings.
I had just got married and brought both sides of the family together in Nashville for everyone to meet for the first time. We stayed at the hotel and we ate at Champions several times since we had (18) people in our party. They did a great job of accommodating the number of people in my party and the waiter we had did a great job and made our group feel special!
We had an excellent experience for our monthly dinner business meeting. We couldn't get the Lobby internet to work but the manager gave us a password and it solved the problem. I really like the service and convenience of this place.
