Pull up a seat and step back in time. Our Champagne bar overlooks Central Station and evokes the golden age of travel, with a sash of style and lashings of charm.

For those feeling peckish, food is fine, flavoursome, and focuses on small plates and sharing boards. Afternoon tea has a special place on the menu and is – of course – best taken with a glass of Champagne. Breakfast is also served in Champagne Central, for residents and non-residents alike.

Awarded the Best Hotel Bar in Glasgow at the 2019 Best Bar None awards.

Taken to table steaight away ne asked for drinks brought promotly Table to small for two afternoon tea plate stands GF afternoon tea was good although sandwiches could have been cut in half again and made more presentsble Afternoon tea arrived but had to wait for tea - waitresses all talking about 5-10 mins beforepots of tea arrived we were asked if we would like more tea and waited and waited then had to ask again Overall tea was good service could have been better but pleasant afternoon x

Staff and service excellent. The staff were all very pleasant, friendly, helpful and attentive. Selection of sweet food was good but the rest was disappointing. Sandwich selection was poor - 4 fingers of bread with cheap, minimal filling, two hardly bite sizes of quiche and two tiny - not even bite size - pastry bites.

Wry disappointed in the savoury element in particular. 2 sandwiches per person and all cheese. One tiny bit of chicken wrap that felt as though it had been frozen and very small pastries. Only one scone each but at least the cakes were good. Very poor value for money won’t buy again.

We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. It is a nice enough setting but we have had much nicer afternoon teas elsewhere. We had barely sat down before the food appeared. They have the afternoon teas all made up and just churn them out. The savoury selection was particularly disappointing. There were some very dry tarts, cream cheese and cucumber, cheese and chutney finger sandwiches and two small chicken wraps. We tried everything but left most of it as none of it was very nice. The scones were fine and we ate those. You get unlimited tea and coffee which is quite good. Service wasn’t great either, we had to keep trying to catch someone’s eye any time we needed anything and received different drinks to what we ordered. Overall it was really poor and there are much better places to go for afternoon tea.

Afternoon tea was not good value for money at all. A few very small sandwhiches with uninspiring fillings and tiny savouries, a scone each and a few small cakes which all tasted the same. Service was good and refill of tea and coffee was offered but I would have to say the food was extremely disappointing

Been for a lot of afternoon teas. This rates as one of the worst. Sandwiches were dry and some with little filling. One scone each which were small and dry. Most of the little cakes were nice. Had to remind staff for our Bellinis. Wouldn’t go back.

Very strange flavour combinations didnt enjoy it at all. Both of us ended up unwell after this. Would not go again.
