   The servers and staff couldn’t be nicer! Place was really pretty and clean. However for the price the food was a bit sparse, my sandwiches were a bit stale on the edges and so was my roll with chicken. My sisters a vegetarian and the vege platter was offered which was good and was informed about the raspberry moose not being veggie so this was replaced wirh a sponge cake. Appreciated this however the roll she got was just plain grated cheese wirh a tomato slice… not very worth the price you pay.

   We did the afternoon tea and it Great value for money. Bought as a gift for my mum and she absolutely loved it and was so impressed. Wouldn’t definitely do again!

   Very unhelpful after accepting a booking using a voucher to be told it wasn’t accepted on a Saturday offered no alternatives. Asked if it could even be used and we would make up the difference to be told a flat NO. Obviously not the only ones to do this as one server made a comment that we were not the only ones to be in that position. Shocking customer service.

   £35 per head for one small roll, 2 finger sandwiches, 2 scones, butter, no clotted cream, and three tiny sweets. There were 3 of us we had two miniature pots of jam for 6 scones. Coffee took 10 mins to arrive. The food was lovely,staff very over worked, lots of noise from bar area, the experience was poor and not one I will repeat or recommend.

    Everything was fine but have noticed on this visit there were slightly fewer sandwiches & cakes on offer. Plenty of tea & coffee for which they no longer charge. Our table was near the kitchen/bar, in front of the window & it was a bit cold. Service good. Would recommend.

    Sandwiches not what I’m used to for an Afternoon Tea. They were just finger shaped, and not given a choice of what you like. Poor in quality.

    Very poor. Would not go back. There wasn’t anything on the voucher to say we couldn’t go for the afternoon tea on a Saturday; when we booked it. We were charged £105 for what was an awful lunch. I had taken my granddaughter with me and after being told she was gluten free we were asked to combine both the food on the gluten free cake stand. This could have had a detrimental effect on a 9 year old if she ate the wrong food. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

    Fantastic day out from start to finish…staff where really nice and welcoming and then the food from sandwiches then the scones but most of all the cakes took it to the next level they where fantastic looking but the taste ….wow but even when wee where leaving the staff made us feel really special so a big thanks to all involved

    We booked an afternoon tea for 3 as a treat for my wife and it was a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and well versed in what was being served that day. The place was spotless, and I couldn't fault their choice of decor either. Considering this is one of the oldest, and well used buildings in Glasgow, it was a gorgeous setting for a relaxing tea. We'll definitely be back.

    On arrival we were greeted with a friendly staff member who showed us to our table. The table was quite small but ok. When our high tea arrived it was quite disappointing considering the cost. The sandwiches / rolls were small and they had started to dry but were still edible. The scones were perfect, still warm, and were the favourite part of the tea. The last course, the sweets, were good but a little basic. The waiter we were allocated was fantastic and ensured we had everything we needed. Unfortunately however, my wife and I will not be returning.

    This was our first visit to the hotel for afternoon tea, the room was very comfortable and the fittings of a high standard. All the staff were very efficient helpful and made you feel that nothing was too much trouble. The food was very fresh and delicious, and the prosecco very much enjoyed.

    Afternoon Tea with my sisters was fabulous, we have done this before as such good value for money and beautiful surroundings, staff were attentive and nothing too much trouble for them, just a wee issue with the actual tea itself being luke warm, although didn't put us off and won't in the future either.

    Had reserved a table for drinks, before we went elsewhere for food, arrived & table was ready for us. Bar was packed, there were a group of 3 women who were very noisy, which was a little off putting, but it was a Saturday afternoon. Had a couple of drinks, service was quick, considering it was so busy. Friendly staff. Love Champagne Central. It’s our go to place, before we head anywhere else.

    Really disappointed by our experience at Champagne Central having afternoon tea for 3 with prosecco. I was with my 16 and 21 year old daughters. We were using a wowcher deal which had been gifted to us. 21 year old was rightly asked for I.d. but on production of her Gov approved, hologrammed Young Scot card, was told that it was not an acceptable form of I.d.. She would need a passport or driving licence to get her glass of fizz! Server took hot drinks order but after a while came back to check on what had been ordered. Eventually returning with the wrong tea. The food arrived and looked nice if rather sparse. Sandwiches seemed to have been taken straight from the fridge and were cold and bread rather hard. Scones were the best offering served with clotted cream and jam but no butter. Cakes(3 mini ones pp) looked lovely but were rather tasteless or in the case of the tartlet, far too sweet. Overall, not a great experience and not worth the £60 paid. Won't be rushing back.

    Great afternoon catching up with family. Lovely Decor and settings. food well prepared and nicely presented. Staff efficient, friendly and attentive. More than enough sandwiches, scones and cakes, (good selection of all). It's a great venue for many different occasions and excellent value for money if you have a voucher (which we had). Would certainly recommend and we will go back with or without a voucher.
