I had the potbelly, deliciously pared with a great asian sauce and crispy seaweed.
All staff was great, but our server was delightful and checked with at the right times.
I will always come back with different friends and enjoy anything from casual to cozy..
Love your gardens.

Excellent food and great ambience in a very sketchy part of town. I notice that their health insurance surcharge turned out to be 10% of the bill, which is extremely high compared to other restaurants.

What a fun atmosphere! Our Uber drop in the middle of the Tenderloin at a black building made the cozy setting inside the doors all the more surprising. The friendly staff took care of us quickly as soon as we alerted them to a pending curtain time for theater. Love the poolside cabana and can't wait to return for more fun food!

Our reservation was for 7 but the table wasn't quite ready so we grabbed a drink at the bar. At 7:40 we still hadn't been seated. I think they forgot about us and this seemed to be supported when open table followed up the best day indicating we hadn't shown up. The hostess didn't even apologize for the delay. The rest of the staff was good and so was the food.

I was there for Sunday brunch with my nephew and his wife. We sat outside by the pool. The menu was interesting and the dishes well prepared. The service was very attentive so it made a great experience.

We had no idea what we were in for ,knowing this was in the heart of the SF Tenderloin. Pretty dicey area and that, coupled with the very unassuming front door, had us completely flabbergasted when we walked into the awesome and unique environment! Great lighting, great service, and the FOOD! wow! (I ordered a second round of the Brussel sprouts so I could take them home to my b.f. Absolute THE best Brussel Sprouts I/we've ever tasted... ANYWHERE! SUPER FUN bar environment. What a find!

Yesterday my friend and I checked in for my birthday. We had never been before and we are non drinkers but were able to get a virgin cocktail which was absolutely delightful! We had an amazing time and we loved the decor and music selection. I ordered ribs and my friend ordered fish I enjoyed the seasoning obln both however, I liked my friends dish better. They had a ton of selections for wine. It's low lit and cozy!

Chambers Eat + Drink was amazing! The outside appearance doesn’t look like much but the inside has GREAT decor & ambiance. There are vinyl records flanking the walls ago with dim lighting and a live DJ. The service was on point. The speciality drinks were very tasty with fun names. I had a drink called ‘a charmed life’ finished with Champagne & Juniper berries. I loved it! The food was amazing. Definitely order the fried Brussel sprouts. These were the best Brussel sprouts I ever had.

A jewel in the midst of a rather scary neighborhood. Close to theatre, read great reviews, so gave it a try 9-14-17 and found it to be as entertaining as the show later! Fun decore, fusion fantastic food, great service with Darren and extrodinary cocktail concoctions! 😉

The 2 only negatives would be the fact that the host wasn't at the host desk to greet us and we waited a few mins to get acknowledge by anyone and from the menu we oredere the chicharrones and they tasted like chicharrones you buy ar store that come in a bag, not what I was expecting at the scale this restaurant measures. Our server Jessie was AMAZING! Apart from the chicharrones drinks, food, desert was an explision of flavors. I would definitely go back.

Special cocktails just ok. Food needs work. Tries to hard to be Asian fusion, but the fusion doesn't really work that well in a lot of dishes. Pork belly appetizer didn't work with seaweed. Too briney. Potato & Marinara sauce was ehh. Sauce uninspired. Main courses just OK, but not memorable.

It was the Mixologi party, so I completely understand how the spike in business would slow things down some - and perhaps you were understaffed - but I waited at the bar for over 20 minutes and never even had my drink order taken, it took my friend 25 minutes to even close her tab. Then when we were seated, after our server took our drink order, drinks took another 20ish minutes. We sat and watched several other 2-tops have their drink orders taken and drinks brought to them promptly - mind you, me and 2 others in my party-of-5 are lifelong bartenders and 4/5 of us are lifer-restaurant people in general. We know the deal. At any rate, the food and drinks were mostly good, just the wait time on everything was excruciating (with no acknowledgement of it - recognition/ an apology goes a very long way, so it felt like no one cared)- and both my girlfriend & I had items missing on our brunch plates - hers was supposed to have seasonal veggies, but came with a mixed green salad instead (which she diappointedly ended up not even eating), my "poached eggs" were mostly hard boiled. We're not complainers, and we were starving, so we ate, and moved on with our day - but also for fear that if we sent our food back, the replacement plates may not arrive for another half hour. This is the 4th or 5th year in a row we've eaten at Chambers before Mixologi - it's become a tradition amongst some of us - which is why I'm even writing. And for a festive event day like this last Sunday, brunch at Chambers was definitely a low point.

Went for the first time with the family (daughters are ~20 yrs. old) and loved the atmosphere with vinyls stacked all over and rock/pop playing I the background. Not too loud, just perfect. Very good service, we were going to see a show, and nice walking distance from SF Orpheum (10 minutes). Eclectic food and, I think, a bit pricey for the quality and amount, check the menu. Overall good experience. Would probably be an awesome happy hour experience vs. just a good overall experience for dinner.

Food was good, service was fair, he seemed distracted and not very attentive. Liked the ambiance. The neighborhood was dicy, lots of homeless on the street, rather smelly. Would have uncomfortable after dark. My wife was more concerned than I was and she was disappointed I had selected the location I did. And for an anniversary dinner this was not a good thing. The reviews exceeded our experience.

I love this spot! Less than ideal experience this time due to the hostess. We had a reservation, but ended up being 10 minutes late. I tried to call, but no one answered the phone. Once we checked in, the hostess kept us waiting over 20 minutes. At one point as she walked by I went to ask her a question - she said she'd be right with me, then never came back. We had to approach her again after another 10 minutes of waiting. They weren't very busy for Sunday brunch. There were ample tables outside and in (we requested outside). Once we were finally seated, the server was great. The food was good. I'll come back, but really hope they improve their guest experience.

Don't let the outside fool you. We stopped in here before going to the theatre. The inside ambiance is delightfully funky but also clean and fresh. We found the staff cheerful and helpful, and the food was delicious. We had Eggs Benedict and the Torta Cubana and can recommend both.

We had small plates. The Kobe beef, tomato salad and chilled corn soup were excellent. My date remarked, "As good as Chez Panisse." I don't disagree. Excellent service, good wine-by-the-glass, good dessert and coffee.

I've been here twice for brunch for a Saturday matinee at the theater. It's in the Tenderloin & some people may be reluctant due to the location. Also, the door isn't obvious. It's on Eddy without clear signage. The previous time were fantastic. This time the menu had changed and it was harder to find something I really wanted. I settled on Eggs Benedict even though I worry about Hollandaise sauce because I've got sick with it a couple times at other restaurants. The sauce here was excellent, but the eggs were somewhat undercooked (runny whites as well as yokes). The bacon was dry and not hot as if it had been cooked earlier and just laid across the eggs to build the entree. Still, I'd give it another try. The drinks are inventive and the ambiance is delightful.

Chambers is great. Great service, great ambiance and most importantly, really tasty food! It's a great generally (other than the extremely shady neighborhood), but coupled with the fact that it's walking distance to the Orpheum theater, definitely makes this spot a gem.

We came here after the theater. Seated at 5:50 and dinner didn't arrive until 7:00. Really? Apparently those hurried to get to a show get preferential treatment. If you go, just tell them you're in a hurry or you may be there for a while. When food finally arrived, it was yummy. Service staff were nice.

It has a young hip vibe and great music. It was a good location to eat before the theater. Although I don't consider myself that old it definitely has a young crowd (20's-30's) but offers good creative food.
