Booked it for brunch before going to the Van Gogh exhibit. They didn’t seem to have it together in terms of service at all. Food was late, cold generally staff seemed confused, not ready when they opened. Maybe short staffed due to Covid restrictions but they need to get it together. Maybe take fewer guests so they can handle them. Location by pool is cute. Last entree was super late they should have at least comped it. We left most of it on the table.
Outdoor dining was perfect for my sister’s birthday!
Service was outstanding! Staff really went above and beyond
Loved most of what Chambers has to offer. Amazing atmosphere, prompt and discerning service and accommodating to needs. The food is also mostly fabulous. As are the drinks. I'd avoid dessert however. The crema catalana was curdled, not smooth and creamy as it should be.
The. service. was. awful. It wasn't intentionally awful. It just was but I don't know why. Things did not seem to be more busy than usual.
Seated @ 1.05 PM

Food order taken @ 1.30PM

Somewhere in there I was able to order a 2nd drink but had to have it re-made because the Tequila Drink that I ordered came back tasting like a Bloody Mary for some reason
Charged me twice and said they didn’t but turns out they did
We love dining by the pool!
Ambiance was awesome and menu looked great, but the food itself was salty (everything we ordered). Honestly not sure it was worth the price for what I got.
Great outdoor dining experience. Was very covid safe. And the food and drinks were amazing!
Everything we ate was Great. Both Appetizers were wonderful. The Frozen slushee drink was so good I had two. My only complaints are that the entree' while delicious from a portion standpoint left a bit to be desired. Even with 2 shared appetizers I hadn't eaten enough to absorb those two frozen drinks. And thot took me eagerly to the dessert menu which was a total bummer because it only had TWO things on it and neither appealed to me. They DEFINITELY need to work on the dessert menu. 2 things is not enough. We ended up ordering a third appetizer after dinner. So if the entree' portions are going to be light enough that we are clamoring for the dessert menu? There has to be more choices on it! The ambience was lovely, the server was adorable and friendly and the DJ was definitely giving it a Supper club feeling that we will return for. I just hope by the time we get back there are at least 4 dessert choices!!
It’s in a dicey area of San Francisco but there is a hotel parking lot right there. The ambiance was fantastic, food good, service so friendly and charming. I loved it.
The staff were so wonderful! And such a nice outside Comfortable setting
The service was unmatched! Great recommendations and a good time.
Needed a chill place to get some delicious food! This was a great pick!
The food was great, the only thing is that there is not plenty of choice. Pasta is good and also the fresh spring rolls. The staff is really nice and so is the ambience. Prices are not too bad
I really love coming here, especially when I have guests visiting. Very cool place with great service and yummy drinks
Cool place! Little oasis in the heart of the tenderloin. Filled with over 20k records, cute patio with fireplaces, lights and a pool creates a nice ambiance. Drinks and food were all delicious.
Thank you for being wonderful. That was much needed. See you again soon.
The Outside area is very nice and the staff is super accommodating. The melon salad was exceptional and loved the diverse range of appetizers! Definitely will be back.
Very limited menu, they had run out of several items by 7:30 PM, and really bad service. The food was just mediocre. The only reason to go is the atmosphere, but I’d rather spend my money somewhere else!
Not a lot of options and it takes forever for someone to come check back or even take the order
The location was pretty off-putting. The ambiance inside was nothing like outside; outside the restaurant was kind of run-down and dirty, seemed a little dangerous so be careful coming out at night. The server wasn’t super friendly but wasn’t mean either, and the food was very average relative to the price. I recommend it for lunch or early dinner but don’t have your hopes too high.
I'm loving Chambers right now. It's a little outdoor oasis during these challenging times.
Great food, lovely set up, cabanas, tables, love the heaters, only thing is my server was not very attentive but no big deal. Everything else 100!
The food is good. It is a great place to have dinner the Tenderloin. The staff was attentive and turned on the propane heater. The outdoor seating was like a desert oasis in the middle of SF!
The rib sandwich and chicken and waffles were divine!! Great customer service from all of the staff
Thanks chambers
See you soon
Dinner with parent visiting San Francisco
Nice location and atmosphere
Great food, plenty of space for social distancing, fun staff.
Such a great experience! Even during Covid 19
outdoor seating experience was great. food was great. I do wish that they played the music a little less loud though
I just came off of a cross country train ride and needed a place to eat before catching my redeye flight home. Due to the pandemic, all restaurants are taking outdoor seating reservations only. chambers was the only one available, and I’m so glad I decided to go! It’s attached to a super cool vintage hotel that has been refurbished. It has a great ambiance, nice music, with outdoor seating by the pool in the courtyard area of the hotel. The inside was closed, but you can tell it will be a great time once everything is back to normal! Be sure to check out their extensive vinyl collection before leaving! Staff is so nice, checks on you often, and very knowledgeable about their menu and will give you suggestions on what to choose off of their menu. Can’t wait to go back!
I was very pleasantly surprised at just how tasty the food was and how fresh and unique it was. The Mezcal cocktail is out of this world! Highly recommend Chambers for dinner.
Wonderful staff, food/beverage, and ambiance! Everything thing we ordered has great flavor profiles and were delicious. Our server Jessie was the best. Friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, and great personality. Will definitely return as it’s only a short walk away.
An oasis in the middle of TL that temporarily makes you forget the turmoil of the world outside. Excellent service and ambience!
great place but limited menu options and nothing worth the price
Chambers is a hidden gem. Built inside the retro Phoenix hotel, it's a mix of 50's/60's, quaint, craft, & history. The food was amazing & the vibe was certainly mid-mod like you stepped back in time in a roadside hotel getaway. Highly recommended.
From the outside, one may never walk in.. Don't judge a book by it's cover! Amazing!!!
Food (Pros):
- Pork chop was delicious, love the apple sauce with the mustard seeds
- Octopus was smokey, with a delicious sauce underneath it
Food (Cons):
- Couscous was dry, carrots were overcooked
- Truffle mac&cheese barely had any truffle (cost $12, when it should have cost $5 since it was simply mac&cheese with a little bit of truffle)
- Rib-eye was little bit too rare for my taste, still slightly too raw (when meat is a darkish pink, instead of a transition between dark and light)
Great food and beverages as always! The atmosphere is chill and perfect for a Sunday brunch.
