Made reservations for dinner on a Saturday at 5PM. Place was nearly empty, but probably because the city's nightlife hadn't started yet. Pizza and bratwurst were excellent. Wanted to try the fondues, but no one else in our party was interested. Because of the minimum of two persons per order, the price was a bit steep for me to go solo. Will definitely come back, though, and this time bring someone who wants to dip with me!

The atmosphere was very good and so was the service. The only complaint that I might have was that the batter on the Weiner Schnitzel was a bit over done. The pizza, however, was excellent as was the appetizer that we had, which was the prosciotto and mozzarella.

We loved the goulash! The owner came by and checked to see if everything was ok. Pretzel was delicious as well. Next time trying the cheese fondue! We will. Definitely will be back.

had not had a Raclette in ages, great meal with traditional favorites and enough standard fare for everyone. If you are looking for a relaxed spot for a meal and a break near to LAX this is hard to beat.

Took our Swiss students for a traditional meal on the way to LAX for their return trip to Lucerne
after a 6 month stay with us. Food was very good however, server tried to up-charge for small requests like some more gravy etc. Atmosphere seemed more like a fast food joint.....Whether
we would go back?....not convinced.

Really good sit down restaurant. There are a lot of strip mall types of restaurant options in Inglewood and we really wanted a cool sit down place. What a great surprise. Authentic German and Swiss food, really good pizza. We are coming back

We were happy to find this small German restaurant. There is not too many left in LA . We liked our portions. Size perfect to split for two people. We will be back, next time we close to LAX and we will recommend to our friends to go to you from Santa Clarita Valley . Thank you very much again for attentive service.

Tasteful Bavarian food reasonably prices in a casual atmosphere. We enjoyed the Chicken Schnitzel and homemade dumplings. Serving sizes were enough for us to share. Service was prompt and friendly.

We were surprised how few, if any, Austrian/German restaurants there are in LA. This gem near LAX is worth the trip, particularly for the pretzels, tasty traditional fare, and warm service. The assorted salad and spaetzle were especially good with a cold beer. Prost!

It's hard to find fondue in LA, and even harder to find a great cheese fondue made by people who understand how it should taste. Giving the diners the ability to control the amount of kirsch is genius. My group and I had a marvelous meal!

Been meaning to check this place out for a while. It was recommended by my dad in Switzerland and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is clean modern with a distinct Swiss Restaurant "Beizli" feel. The Zürich Gschnetzlets was great and so was the Rösti (hash browns). I will go back. We met a friend who had a layover to Sidney the location is ideal as it's less than 10 min from the terminals.

We happened to go on a night they had a special Octoberfest buffet. It basically features many of the popular fare from the menu. The price seemed a bit high, but also seemed like the best bet since some of the entree prices for the individual items that were featured in the buffet were nearly the same price. If you go on a night the buffet is offered and get the buffet, be hungry! Also, if you're vertically challenged like me, bring a taller friend as they put the buffet items on the bar which was a little out of my reach.

Always enjoy introducing a friend to this somewhat hidden gem on Sepulveda Blvd in Westchester. Can sit outside in the front, but if traffic too noisy, we go inside where it is quieter. Quick service at lunchtime. Good quality food. Nice change of food compared to typical Mexican, Chinese, Italian, or seafood. Mainly meat dishes.
Thanks again.

We had been to this restaurant a few times in the past, but this time we were disappointed. I always like the rosti potatoes, but this time they were like greasy, frozen hash browns. The food was very salty. We may go back and try different things, but wondered if they had changed recipes or cooks. I think the owners are the same. They perhaps should get their bratwurst from Alpine Village! My husband had pork and it was very overlooked and dry.

We love to come here with friends who drive us from San Diego to LAX when we have to catch a late night International flight to Asia or the South Pacific. Exceptional Swiss/German food and wonderful ambience. Feels like a restaurant in Germany or Switzerland.

Went with high expectations, anticipating a great Wienerschnitzel. What I was served was 2 little morsels the size of my thumb, both very chewy and full of gristle. The salad was good. This extremely modest lunch for 16 dollars. My wife had the chicken schnitzel..very dry, to the point of being almost inedible, and was accompanied by the most tasteless rosti potatoes I have encountered in my life...all that for 13 dollars. Making the day survivable, the Bitburger on tap saved us from raising a ruckus and refusing to pay our tab. The new server was a pleasure. This restaurant is, hands down, simply the absolutely worst restaurant of this genre I have eaten at in my 60+ years. They need to wake up or find another line of work.

Not many Swiss restaurants in Los Angeles. Tis one is very casual but the food and service are very good and prices are quite reasonable. However, the food is NOT for those who look for light-weight California style cooking. Think more of a traditional German style. The ambiance is not fancy, but makes for a nice neighborhood restaurant.

We enjoyed our foray into Chalet Edelweiss. Service was top notch and the food was good but not perfect. The Wiener Schnitzel was dry, the onion-mushroom brown sauce on the Schnitzel was terrific but the meat was mostly chewy. We loved the giant pretzel appetizer and the mustard was great. The Apple Strudel was fabulous! I prefer the German Spaetzle preparation to the Swiss Spatzli. The red cabbage was tasty.

I hope that when I write a note in my reservation about celebrating a special event, it is conveyed to the appropriate people but it wasn't and I had to say something to make sure they understood. I partially blame that on the haphazard way you are seated and the bus boy being the one to check the reservation on Open Table.

I've been looking for a place in Los Angeles that makes a delicious fondue, and I've finally found it. Loaded with kirsch, just the right consistency, full of flavor and presented perfectly. The service was very scattered and absent minded. My water never came, the wine was delayed, the bill was wrong, but man-oh-man, the fondue made up for it.

The Schnitzel is definitely good. It's some of the best I've had in the US. The pretzel appetizer was fantastic. The restaurant is a gem in a coal mine ... the location, right on Sepulveda in that strip-mall sort of area isn't what I expected with such a romantic name and menu. They do a great job with the decor though.

The food is amazingly authentic and the draft beer is a full 17 ounces, if I remember correctly.

A friend was in from out of town staying by LAX so I found this restaurant online near it since I live in the SFV and wasn't familiar with the area. We both enjoy good beer so we gave it a try. The beer was delicious. I had the goulash - super yummy. My husband and friend had the special the Berner plate and both ate every last bite!

We have not been to this restaurant in over a year as the last meal we had there was "just OK". However, someone must have sat them down and reviewed their meals, and now we LOVED the restaurant again. Not many places for German/Swiss food in the area, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to all. We will go back in the near future.

It is so refreshing to dine at a restaurant that offers something wonderful and out of the ordinary. Swiss or Germant restaurants are few and far between, and Chalet Edelweiss is a real gem! The food is delicious and the ambience warm and welcoming. From the menu offerings to the decor, we felt like we were on vacation back in Switzerland. While everything on the menu sounds delicious, I can't wait to go back and have the goulash again!

This is a great restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and the owner makes a point if greeting you and stopping by the table to make sure that everything is good. Start with a big pretzel, served hot with the most delicious mustard. While the rest of my family loves the wonderful German style food, my daughter will only eat the pizza...that she says is amazing.
