Food and service was excellent. I've been here 3 times and I've always had a pleasant experience.
As always the music was lovely, the food delicious and the service quite accommodating. It's a jewel of a restaurant that most of my family and friends don't know about. I love exposing people to Chablis.
Had a very nice dinner with my wife on a Valentine's day. The place was crowded, but not noisy. Great live music, excellent food and romantic atmosphere of a small a la French restaurant.... As usually, menu is limited, but everything is delicious.

Terrible. Not seated until 30 minutes after arrived for reservation. Service was the worst I’ve ever experienced.
For Valentines Day dinner, the service with Alex was unbelievably slow for everyone!! Wait and wait and wait. Thankfully the meal was good - filet mignon. The mixed bar drinks so so.

When we first walked into the patio we were greeted by a smiling host who made us feel so welcome. It was a little chilly so no patio dining that night. Maybe some other time. We were then ushered into a cozy room with a fireplace. The wait staff was so accommodating and we were able to enjoy our dinner and conversation without ever feeling rushed. We will definitely share our find with our friends.
Friendly & excellent service, delicious food, and not too crowded on a Thursday night makes this one to go to again.
Was left unimpressed with the service, which was quick but kept getting steered away from certain food items and drinks. Most clientele was over 60, so not quite a hot spot. If menu items aren’t up to par, chefs should look into updating. French onion soup and scallops were good. You could have had the rest. Not super impressed.
Delicious food and excellent service. And soft sounding, live guitarist/singer playing - nice bonus. Will definitely return!

Good New Year’s Eve dinner with music. Good food, great service and good value. The owner is hands on and comes by and checks with guests.
We ate early on new year’s. Warm setting, very good service. Not yet crowded. The appetizers and entrees were excellent, as was an affordable wine. The schnitzel was just ok. Overall, very pleasant.
We celebrated our Anniversary here. We sat at a beautiful table with a pretty view. The waiter was very polite and nice. We both got the rib-eye which was delicious! They recommended a wine to go with it and it was perfect! It was a culinary delight!! We've been here a few times now and will keep coming back!
Thursday nights when Elena is playing her guitar and singing makes for a lovely evening. The restaurant is charming and the service is perfect. I will be back!

This spot has allot of potential. It has been around for about 9 years and the menu is severely outdated like 1970s . Plating of the food was clunky and needs more finesse. Plates were large and obstructive, and consumed the entire table. Not good for a date night spot. The entrees were huge, too big in fact. Shared plates with a updated 21st centrury menu would go a long way with the dating clientele. Fresh crisp vegetables with contrasting colors modern cooking techniques would bode well w the esthetics. Everything was brown on the plate. All though the flavors were good you can tell that the depth of the cuisine was lacking and only surface flavors were there. On the short rib the vegetables were all mush , so were the potatoes. The duck confit was very good flavor wise but again everything else was brown and mush . Too old school to keep up with the new wave culinary resurgence happening in LA. Not having eclectic bourbons , ryes or other whiskeys was a real bummer too. I mean even the Dark Horse Tavern has 1 or 2. If something doesn’t happen foodwise at Chablis they might as well be gobbled up by the competition.
The server was even worse. It was dead and he didn’t check back with us at all. Touching his nose and face when introducing himself to our table was off putting. The fact we waited 20 min for him to come get our check was a bit frustrating. He also never even asked to box the remaining food in which was purchased. Further morenhe didn’t even know the chefs name. All around a huge disappointment, I was so excited when I made the reservation here, I canceled a reservation at another restaurant. I wish that never happened luckily my date was very understanding.
Quiet and personal, nice live music. Great wine. Solid food.

My friend and I were there on a Groupon offer which made it very reasonable. the restaurant itself was a bit dated, but the staff was very welcoming, and the food... THE FOOD! So amazing! We shared the appetizer (tuna tartar) and that was okay, but again, felt a bit dated. Then came the entrees - filet mignon for her, and the flank steak for me. Both were cooked to perfection - not easy as my dining companion likes hers black and blue. But the chef nailed it! Beautifully seasoned. The wine list for by the glass choices was extensive and everything we chose was truly delicious. Lastly, we shared the Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. Worth the wait and we both wished we had ordered our own. I would go back for that alone!

We sat outside on a simple patio and enjoyed the quiet. Inside was much noisier. Food was about average. Waiter attentive without being overbearing. I can't rave about the food. Kind of unimaginative and predictable. Not a place for foodies. I wouldn't rush back. Just not memorable.
