Great restaurant! We were a big group and it was all our first time there. We absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere! We will definitely go back!
Another fantastic diner. Took 4 good friends visiting from NYC there because they like gourmet food. We ordered lots of different types of food served family style so everyone could try new tastes. Not a scrap was left including the french fries that came with the spare ribs in a special BBQ sauce, and then we had desert.
They have a great cheap lunch special not on the menu. Ask if you go.
I live around the corner from this restaurant and always wanted to try it. I went to this restaurant with a friend after the movies this past weekend. We each ordered a salad and an entree and shared a dessert. The salads were good and fresh but the meat (mixed grill and churrasco) was tough even through we ordered it medium rare and medium respectively. The dessert (passion fruit cheesecake) didn't taste or feel like cheesecake and the passion fruit topping was gelatinous and overpowering. The dish that the mixed grill was served in looked interesting but because of the 4 separate compartments for the different meats and sides, it was impossible to slice the churrasco. The dessert was very expensive for such a tiny portion. It was made and served in a tall glass dish that was more like a tall square glass and made it difficult to eat. The interior is lovely and with an interesting decor but the music was way too loud for such a small establishment and made it very difficult to talk and hear one another. I do not need to go again.
All was great from the service to the food
This restaurant is excellent. We were from out of town and found it through trip advisor. Everything we tried was excellent and the service superb. We plan to go there again before we leave. Highly recommend.
Excellent service and the food was excellent!
Papas a la huancaina were excellent!!!
Best wine, appetizers, food & all around GREAT EVERY TIME WE GO!!
Unfortunately, this place has declined a bit. Food quality used to be much better a year ago. Still a good place and will probably return. Salmon was extremely bland.
Best Ceviche ever! The food is very flavorful, equivalent to a perfect bite but with good portions.
Absolutely relicious. My favorite is the grilled octopus...my husband loves the Heat Rolls from the sushi menu.
Even though the restaurant was almost empty service was slow and indifferent. Wait staff were having conversations among themselves near the bar ignoring customers. Other diners were clearly annoyed as well. Salad was wilted and over dressed, shrimp in the ceviche was tough and had zero flavor. Cross this one off your list.
The food was great. The restaurant is very small and they have too many tables in there. We were seated in the middle and we were bumped by every waiter and waitress trying to squeeze through.
Gem hidden in Publix shopping center. We went with friends- great food, waiter helped us pick dishes, and adjust mixed grilled dish as the menu discription did not do the choices justice. This is especially true because we don't ear Peruvian food every day.
A very good Peruvian Restaurant. We definitely will be back
Overall very good. We go there regularly. The only thing that was not excellent was the salmon which was a little dry for my wife even though she asked for it rare.
What a nice finding, it was our first time.
Cute little place. We’ve got there and the place was almost empty and around 8 pm started to get busier.
We set at the only table without table cloth ( wondering why ) and it’s close to the bar and has a bad smell..
Our server was very attentive, explained the menu and made some nice suggestions, could do a little better if don’t spent lot of his time behind the bar on his phone and talking with some regulars.
In my OpenTable reservation I mentioned that we were celebrating our our anniversary ( they seem to don’t care )... I was planning to order to desserts, but again our server was behind the bar and took too long for him to check back on us.
Because of his recommendations and food was so tasty I left 20% tip.
I might be back but won’t seat close to the bar.
Great place to have dinner with friends or even for a date night. It has an elegant environment, the service is great and the food is delicious. I love this place!
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of Weston . Excellent fresh food, great service and ambience. Highly recommended for any occasion .
Best food in broward county
We love to eat at this restaurant
Great dinner, great location, great prices, great ambiance. All around amazing experience
The food is very good, but if your intention is to eat quietly and without hurry, this is not the place. I went to have lunch with friends and the waiter who attended us was in a hurry to close the table. We feel the same as having eaten at a fast food restaurant.
The food is always good. They have a good menu. We enjoy the restaurant. The owners are very nice but not always there. The staff tries hard but it somewhat inconsistent. There is not much ambiance and the space is somewhat small.
Great ambiance and wonderful service. I’ve been here on many occasions and the best is always the roll acevichado! Lomo saltado was very tasty! My cousin had the seco de res and it was superb. I had the pescado a lo macho (fish with seafood sauce) which was okay but not the best. The food came all together and steaming hot which is number one for me! Still one of my fave Peruvian restaurants in Broward!
We went for dinner for 4 and ordered calamari, salad, potatoes. Ceviche, lomo saltado, steak. Everything tasted great but all 4 of us were sick the next day.
This place was a real treat. The menu is a combination of Peruvian specialities, a list of several varieties of ceviche, and Asian fusion. I had the Parihuela a delicious full bodied soup akin to ciappiano. It was outstanding. My wife had the concha ala Parma scallops with cheese on the half shell. Also delicious. The menu was full of interesting dishes which I plan on trying upon future visits.
Don't pass up an opportunity to dine here. Wonderful food, top quality service, and a great ambience. Quite the hidden gem.
Food quality is very consistent. Service is very good, and menu is a blend of Peruvian and Japanese. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I love the food. It’s got real Peruvian flavor. I’ve brought all my friends and would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Good Ambience and a cozy place with delicious food!
This restaurant had maintained the quality of the food since day one.
Large portions. Churrasco was good. Beans not good. Large portion ceviche but it was not as tasty as what you have in Peru.
Great quality food.
Both the food and service are excellent. The wine list is good and the prices are reasonable. The food is very creative and we go for dinner 2-3 times a month. Highly recommended.
It is our favorite local restaurant for Peruvian seafood. Excellent service too!
The food was very good and the staff was very polite and patient.
Great food. Nice variety with just the right number of choices on the menu. Definitely a repeat!
We had visited this restaurant a couple of year ago and recently moved nearby and wanted to go back.
We were promptly greeted and seated, immediately we were asked for our choice of water and given ample time to look at the menu and decide on drinks.
Food is well presented, cooked to perfection and generous portions.
Leave room for dessert!
Took my dad for an early Fathers Day dinner. The food was amazing and the quality. Our server was awesome. My dad now wants to visit this place every time he visits South Florida!
Seating arrangements seem really hectic, first time waited 45 minutes and was no where close to being seated ( was initially told it would be a brief wait) , decided to just leave after waiting outside with two kids being eaten by mosquitoes. Then made a reservation, and even when I arrived there was confusion from the hostess on what time I made the reservation, thankfully there was a booth open. Portions on the ceviche are small but priced the same as competitors, anticuchos not served with aji like almost all other restauraunts do. Food was excellent though. Probably would not come back and dine at la Perla instead, bigger portions, less wait, and bigger open space.
