The food was delicious!
Rude service , extremely insulting.
The service was disappointing even though I gave them 20% tips. For such beautiful place you would want think better service. There were no menu for drink, nothing like bread you get before your food. The food I go was very small compare to the price of it. But it was delicious.
They had a platter!
I was surprised at how pleasant the outdoor dining was. The restaurant, like so many others, is struggling to hire enough staff. Service was very pleasant if slow. The food took a long time to arrive but was hot and delicious when it arrived. I would definitely return.
Service was slow and almost non existent. No wine knowledge from the server. Steak was supposed to be medium rare but was so charred I literally couldn’t eat it. Tried putting some tobasco on and it didn’t help. Worst 42$ steak I’ve ever bought. And I guess arugula is a side now a days, since that’s all the fish and the steak came with, not an arugula salad, just arugula on the plate.
Usually very good, for both for the food and service, the service was terrible last night, in addition, it was hot in the restaurant. They were obviously overbooked.
While our dinner took almost two hours, it got so warm, I lost my appetite.
The poor couple next to us, who was celebrating their anniversary waited over 30 minutes for their first drink. It was their first time there so my husband and I repeatedly told them to be patient and said it might be a good idea to order their dinner the same time the ordered their drinks. They eventually got their food as we were leaving, and it looked delicious, just as ours was.
The food was good but not special. The service was slow but that is because we’re short waitstaff everywhere in Bethesda. Not really sure I will go back. there’s nothing wrong, or bad. but I expect food I can’t make at home at that price point
Lovely, good food. Great service. Will go back. Great for large parties
We went to celebrate our daughter graduation and we had a good time, all the dishes we order were delicious amd the bread was warm and fresh.
Over all nice place for a cozy celebration
the food was delicious. the vegetable soup /stew, the salad with blue cheese and roasted pear, the wine selection...and can we talk about the desert? Everyone I was with loved their food. Wonderful vegetarian options.
Cesco is where we celebrate all important dates in our lives!
Food was outstanding, and the service was very good. This restaurant has a beautiful dining room with great ambiance. However, I did notice that a number of the light bulbs were not working, so that might be a task for the maintenance person at some point soon. This was our first visit and would recommend to others, we will be back again! Thanks for a nice evening.
We've had food from Cesco Osteria three times in the month of May. Each time, the food was outstanding. The wine list is superb and the wait staff just great.
Delicious homemade pasta, excellent service!
We ate at Cesco for the first time in over a year. We ate on the outside patio. The food was excellent, much better than it had been when we last ate there. Our server was attentive, wore a mask (as did other staff) while we were there, and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We will eat there again soon.
Ample outdoor seating, very good food and nice sized portions.
One of our favorite places to go for any occasion. The food is always fabulous, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and Elaine always greets usby name and chats if she has time/or not if you just want to be together. Francesco is still behind the scenes always preparations and presenting delicious food!
There is a nice vibrant bar area, outside seating and capacity for event planning of all kinds.
Wonderful cant wait to return and refreshing to see how knowledgeable in wines in food and kind our waiter Reynoldo was with us. Very happy with our first visit. Thank you
Outside dining experience was great
Had a nice Mother’s Day dinner in most ways, but food was mediocre.
Had a nice Mother’s Day Brunch there. Food was good and service was accommodating. Still would have liked some breakfast food options...
Service was very slow despite having a reservation in advance.
Unfortunately they were obviously understaffed and overwhelmed. It took 30 minutes to have a server even approach and at one hour we had a drink. Nothing else. After finding a manager it still was slow. The entrees were good. Just spending an hour and a half waiting for food and having no drinks etc. Manager did nothing for us too. Made it a pretty bad experience. Not sure I would go back.
It look forever to be served. The waiter wouldn’t stop by. The food was suspect. They seemed quite disorganized and/or understaffed. Would likely not return
Food was okay. Not great but some good and some average. Service uneven and not attentive. Waited 20 min to get check. No one asked how our dinner was or checked in after serving the meals. No asked about coffee or dessert.
The food was fabulous and we will definitely go back. However, the room was packed, beyond what is acceptable for Covid. We accepted a table off in the corner but won’t go back until it’s possible to eat outdoors.
The food as always was fantastic , they were very understaffed, and there is no way they were at 50% capacity! The dining room was packed. We never got our bread, clean silverware etc. Understaffed! The 3 waiters for the whole dining room were overwhelmed.
The food was great. The service was a bit slow due to less than full staffing. The staff was courteous and working very hard. We enjoyed our dinner very much and were pleased this very good restaurant was staying busy.
We made reservations for 5:30 pm the Sat. night before Mother's Day. Guillermo was our waiter. We came for the pasta which we had heard was excellent. The servings were plentiful and the pasta was delicious. The atmosphere was upscale and quiet. We'll definitely return.
Our server was wonderful and the restaurant overall was nice. But the food was not tasty at all. We left most of it on the plate, it tasted like leftover food that was re-heated. And it was quite pricey. We will not be going back
This is a classic 5 star.italian restaurant.
The Squash Ravioli was the best pasta dish I have ever tasted. Home made pasta made the difference. The Salmon was perfect. will go back soon. Moderate price if you do not buy wine
We left after 45 minutes of no service at all. Someone at a table near us waited over 2 hours for entrees, and others waited 30 mins for menus
Super busy and service was a bit slow but food was great!
May 1st was my birthday and I wanted authentic Italian food. Our server was Guillermo, he was phenomenal. The food was delicious and the restaurant was very nice and comfy!!! Thank you for making my birthday a delicious and fun day!
Great service, nice outdoor patio. Food and wine selections were good.
It is great to rediscover this lovely spacious restaurant after the long hiatus. The food is still excellent and their marvelous veteran waitstaff still attentive and friendly. The patio worked well and was comfortable but not as comfortable as inside (of course).
Unbelievable customer service! Great place! Food delicious!
We had a lovely meal. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate for the dinner outside we’d planned, but we were accommodated inside. Service was excellent.would definitely return!
